Mel Simon is a mall-owning capitalist who wears his Obamunism on his sleeve. A Chris Matthews class acolyte, who has pumped wads of money into the Obamunist coffers, this dude refuses to allow anyone to denigrate his Marxist Messiah.

This Barry worshiping asshat got his panties wadded, after a certain outpost of capitalism in his Concord Mills Mall (Concorde, North Carolina) registered on his radar. Housed in one of those walkway kiosks, "Free Market Warrior" sells posters and bumper stickers that are guaranteed to give a gutless, Obama worshiping, wonder, like Mel Simon, heartburn: "Impeach Obama", "Work harder. Obama needs the money", "Al Qaeda’s favorite days: 9/11/01 and 11/04/08".

In theory, Free Market Warrior owner, Loren Spivack, has the right to free speech, but not at Concord Mills Mall, where the predominant politic wares reflect the Mel Simon’s Libertard brain fart:

"Nobody in that mall is selling anything from a conservative perspective. Plenty of people are selling things with a liberal perspective, with a pro-Obama perspective," he said. "Given that we are in America and not North Korea, we probably should have some stuff on the other side."

Spivack says he is careful not to sell things that personally attack a politician and wants a fair exchange of ideas. "The material that I sell is about politics and ideas," he told Newschannel 36. "It's all legitimate criticism." (WCNC)

I don’t have a problem with Mel Simon black-flagging a business on his property. I don’t have a problem, if he does it to suit his own, Libertard, brainfarts. I don’t have a problem, when he snuffs out a business that says things he doesn’t want to hear. If he gets this crap wrong, the marketplace will teach Mel the errors of his ways.

Mel exposed himself as a Girlieman, when he terminated Loren’s lease because certain posters and bumper stickers pissed him off, by the way he did it. A man, a REAL man, would have the spine to go public with his decision. A man, a REAL man, would tell Loren Spivack, and all those Concord Mills Mall customers the truth: I won’t let him say those things about my Marxist Messiah, in MY mall."

To a rational adult, the faculty at a Baltimore (Maryland) charter school, KIPP Ujima Village Academy should be hailed as heros. Why? Due to the long hours invested by the teaching staff - at least 9 hours and 15 minutes each school day, included every other Saturday - the students at KIPP Ujima Village Academy, routinely, outperform, their government-schooled counterparts. Long hours + hard work = stellar student achievement.

Here in the FSOP we salute the staff at this charter school for their Educational achievements. In Maryland, the rancid pile of turds calling itself the Baltimore Teachers Union decided to punish this charter school for replacing cultural Marxist indoctrination with real education.

Armed with a state edict, which made charter school teachers part of the district, the union is putting the screws to the charter school, as reported in a recent Neal Boortz posting:

This is where the local union steps in and says "Hey, wait a minute. Teachers at this charter school are working longer hours than other unionized teachers at the government schools." The solution? The Baltimore Teachers Union says that this charter school must pay its teachers 33% more than other government school teachers. The charter school says ... screw you, we have a budget to meet (there's a concept no government hack would understand). So now, one of Baltimore's most successful schools is laying off staff and shortening its school day. They are doing this in order to please the teachers unions.

I don’t give a rat's ass how these teachers union bastards try to explain their frontal assault on educational achievement. This kind of crap shouldn’t happen in this land conceived in liberty. The idiots with self esteem which thrill the Baltimore Teachers Union spitless are a stake driven into the heart of our liberty. By elevating union thuggery-enforced bullshit over education, the Baltimore Teachers Union has betrayed this once great nation and deserve a traitor’s fate.

Flushing is too good for this unionized pile of turds. It’s time to drag them out of the classrooms and put them out of our misery, permanently.

We need a conversation about race in America

Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America. Fair enough, but this time, it has to be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard too, not just lectured at. This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard ... and among them are these:

First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known. Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.

Second, no people anywhere have done more to lift up blacks than white Americans, who have spent untold trillions since the '60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream.

Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.

We hear the grievances. Where's the gratitude???

Barack talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let him go to Altoona ... and Johnstown ... and ask the white kids in Catholic schools, "How many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for 'deserving' white kids?" Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America? Is it really white America's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?

Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, is it a failure of the black community itself?

As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence ... Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?

Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?

We have heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al Sharpton about Tawana Brawley, the Duke 'rape' case and Jena. All turned out to be hoaxes, but about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.

Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago.

The George Voinovich "I'm an Idiot & a RINO" Award

So today we will temporarily rename the George Voinovich "Golden RINO Award" to the George Voinovich "I'm an Idiot & a RINO Award."



I really thought this award would be tucked away until after RINOvich stumbled out of office and it would have to be renamed. But George is out there again and he's talking. Yep, we all know what happens when Voinovich talks... he either starts crying or says something stupid and shows us he's even dumber and a bigger RINO than we ever thought.

Unable to pass him like a wrinkled prune, the elected idiot slams Strickland for out smarting our spinelss OH Senate President Bill Harris, says the only thing wrong with Barack Obama is Nancy Pelosi, and the best -- he thinks the Republican party has too many fiscal conservatives!

Voinovich's remarks are really not that surprising though - he comes from the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County. This is the Republican Party where the Chairman publicly applauds members that financially support Democrats over Republicans, is NOT pro-life and supports same-sex marriage and/or civil unions -- so this is not surprising coming from Voinovich.

The good thing about all this is... Curious George will be out of office soon! We have the chance to get a good person elected - that is if we don't elect RINO Rob Portman.

On a side note, the two leading contenders for having the George Voinovich Golden RINO Award named after them are State Senator Tom Fatton and Bush flunkie - Rob Portman. Patton is on the list because he voted for Gov. Ted Strickland and Portman is on the list and rising fast for supporting the UN over the US, voting against strenghthening our borders and voting against tax cuts.

In this interview you are able to tell the wishy-washy former supporter of the Brady Bill Cordray does his best at trying to pretend he is pro-gun and that he undeniably supports our 2nd Amendment rights. He says he does, but you can tell he's having a hard time swallowing that pill.

On the other hand, we see hypocrisy at its' best -- Mike DeWine! Putting on his big girl panties and tightening up his jock supporter a little bit, Little Mikey buys himself a water pistol, straps it on, does his best John Wayne impersonation and becomes a strong 2A defender over night -- even though his record proves otherwise...

Meanwhile, one of the Republicans who is seeking to oppose Cordray next November - anti-gun former Senator Mike DeWine - took time at his campaign announcement event to try and convince voters he is a convert.

Mr. DeWine angered some with his votes on gun issues and by joining with U.S. Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.) and Democrats in the "Gang of 14" that helped resolve a stalemate over confirmation of U.S. Supreme Court justices.

"I would ask to be judged by the totality of my work," Mr. DeWine said. "... I wrote a bill as state senator to say that, if you use a gun in the commission of a felony, we're going to add additional time to your sentence."

He said he understands where Ohioans stand on the gun issue and pledged to uphold allowing law-abiding citizens to carry concealed handguns. "It has worked, and it has worked well," he said. "The fears expressed in the past turned out not to be true."

Promises that he would simply do his job aside, DeWine did not renounce his 2006 Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence (formerly Handgun Control Inc.)endorsement, his support for the Clinton Gun Ban, his support for closing the mythical "gun show loophole", or the many other gun control schemes he is on record as supporting. Promises Promises! So summing up the OH Attorney General race we have current AG Dick Cordray reluctantly swallowing the 2A pill, Mike DeWine delusional about his 2A views and Delaware County Prosecutor Dave Yost who has a record of supporting and defending our 2A rights.

So who would a conservative person vote for in this election? Most likely it would be Yost, as I will. But, if you're a Crooked River Kool-Aid drinking social club member of Little Robbie's Republicans in Cuyahoga County the obvious choice would be the life time RINO -- Mike DeWine.

Will Dr. Death be in charge of Health Care?

As we all know health care has been the topic of the day for some time now. The outrageuos cost of treatment & the soaring costs of coverage are without a doubt in need of a fix. The administration has almost called our health care situation a crisis. And as Obama's Chief of Staff, Rammin' Rahm Emanuel, has stated a good crisis should never be wasted as it allows things to be done that normally wouldn't be. This means more czars and more rights-stripping, Hugo Chavez like rules deemed "for the best interest of our country."

With the health care proposals being discussed, people laugh and think it is funny when I have called it Death Care. Taking into consideration Obama appointed a Science Czar that advocates population control and that the proposals in congress will put our care & lives in the hands of political appointees who believe in rationing health care -- we should be, not concerned, but very, very scared -- as it will be Death Care.

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel (aka Dr. Death), the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, who is Obama's health-policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research offers his views on what they consider good health care...

Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. "Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change," he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).

Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, "as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others" (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008).

Emanuel, however, believes that "communitarianism" should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens . . . An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia" (Hastings Center Report, Nov.-Dec. '96).

He explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: "Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years" (Lancet, Jan. 31).

Socialized Health Care Supporters Get Outnumbered in Obama's OH Visit

In a show of support with the over 50% of their fellow Americans upset with the push for socialized health care, The Cleveland Tea Party Patriots called upon fellow Tea Party Patriots across Ohio to stand together today in this battle to protect our medical freedoms. Like the minutemen of yesteryear, these patriots faced this challenge head on.

Braving heavy rains & torrential downpours, the steadfast Tea Party Patriots in OH, amassed between 600-750 people in Shaker Hts, OH to speak out against this proposed trillion dollar socialized health care be being promoted by President Obama today at Shaker Ht High School.

Members of several like-minded groups, the 9.12 groups from across OH, the Grass Fire Rally Team from Painesville, Heritage Group from Willoughby, joined Tea Party Patriot groups from all over OH and staged a peaceful and responsible protest.

Meeting at Shaker Towne Centre and lining Lee Rd., we were greeted by constant honks and cheers of approval as cars drove through this heavily traveled intersection in what can be considered the backyard of Sen. Sherrod Brown and the front door of Rep. Marcia Fudge (both supporters of the Death care proposals). We were made aware that at least two (2) people that pulled over and joined us.

As “O” hour neared, and after interviews with Channel 3, 5, 8, 19, WTAM 1100 and the local fish wrap – the Cleveland PD, our soaked to the bone fellow Patriots began growing antsy. Curiously enough, the fact that, “WE the people,” vastly outnumbered proponents of socialized health care and ACORN activists (Obama’s Nuts) never made any of their reports or stories. Who’d a thunk it?!? But we do feel the reporters from local Channel 8 & 19 did give us fair coverage. And for this we thank them for being truthful. The event was also picked up by Cavuto and earned a link on Instapundit.

Following a police escort, our .3/4 mile long Patriot Procession marched down Lee Rd, again to the honks & cheers of approval from passing motorists. Proceeding through side streets, we were met with homeowners also expressing their support. These would be the ones that did not have Obama signs in the front yard.

Arriving at the HS, we congregated in a predetermined location worked out with the Shaker PD. This location was selected for security concerns. We did not feel it would be responsible to mix families and seniors with possibly combative Obama supporters. Do I need to even comment on why we did not want to be near ACORN? Confrontation with anyone -- was the last thing we wanted and security of participants was always first and foremost in our planning. Noticing there was merely a handful of death care supporters outside Shaker HS our crowd migrated the front doors where we were obviously kept behind the security line.

Obama and his supporters were not our targeted audience even though some felt they should have been. Think about it… we were there to rally against socialized health care -- why waste our time, energy and efforts on Obama and his death care supporters? They will and routinely do ignore us anyway.

Our target audience was the everyday John & Jane Q. Citizen who are also unhappy about possibly losing the right to choose, paying for the health care for untold millions of illegal immigrants and another trillion dollar booby prize of a plan. We were there to show other Americans that our 1st Amendment rights do exist and that the, Silent Majority – will be Silent No More!

After reviewing the legal arguments presented by attorneys for DeMint for Senate, both Charter Media in Greenville, SC and Cable Vantage in Columbia, SC have pulled the ad from circulation.

As of this afternoon, this untrue attack ad will no longer run on television anywhere inside the State of South Carolina.

In other words, some bureaucrat will tell you what to eat, how to live, where to live, where to work, and much more, because your lifestyle choices impact your health, making everything you do their business.

DeathCare isn’t about expanding your healthcare choices by taking the shackles off the free market:

If DeathCare was intended to fix problems exacerbated by Nanny State antics, it would include a meaningful attempt to reign in the out of control shysters whose frivolous malpractice suits make the cost of medical care insanely expensive.

DeathCare is, as the name implies, a Draconian, tyrannical, turd which plans to systematically exterminate those deemed - by a Nanny State bureaucrat - to be better off dead:

The version of President Obama's universal health care plan pending in the U.S. House would require "end-of-life" counseling for senior citizens, and the former lieutenant governor for the state of New York is warning people to "protect their parents" from the measure.

At issue is section 1233 of the legislative proposal that deals with a government requirement for an "Advance Care Planning Consultation."

Betsy McCaughey, the former New York state officer, told former president candidate Fred Thompson during an interview on his radio program the "consultation" is no more or less than an attempt to convince seniors to die.

"One of the most shocking things is page 425, where the Congress would make it mandatory absolutely that every five years people in Medicare have a required counseling session," she said. "They will tell [them] how to end their life sooner."

The proposal specifically calls for the consultation to recommend "palliative care and hospice" for seniors in their mandatory counseling sessions. Palliative care and hospice generally focus only on pain relief until death. (World Net Daily)

Oakland Voters pass a "High Tax" on Weed

Well twist one up and take a lung-blasting power toke! The voters of Oakland, Mexifornia just voted to impose the first ever city-wide tax on weed...

Scheduled to take effect on New Year's Day, the measure created a special business tax rate for the pot clubs, which now pay the same $1.20 for every $1,000 in gross sales applied to all retail businesses. The new rate will be $18.

"It's good business and good for the community," said Richard Lee, who owns the Coffee Shop SR-71 dispensary and Oaksterdam University, a trade school for budding dispensary workers.

Although California's 800 or so pot clubs also are expected to pay state sales tax, Oakland is the first city in the country to create a special tax on marijuana sales. (Yahoo News)

And look at that -- a trade school for selling weed! Now this would've been a class I would have not been thrown out of and (excuse me... toke, toke) could have passed with no problem!

The same Mike DeWine who Human Events Online named among the Top 10 anti-gun U.S. Senators, noting that he was "consistently the only Republican to speak in favor of anti-2nd Amendment legislation on the Senate floor."

The same Mike DeWine who, shortly before his defeat in 2006, took a position in opposition to legislation which barred gun manufacturers, distributors, dealers or importers from frivolous lawsuits designed to put them out of business.

The same Mike DeWine who consistently cast his votes on the side of the most rabid anti-gun Democrats in the Senate.

The same Mike DeWine who, as Buckeye Firearms Association Legislative Chair Ken Hanson points out, is so hated by grassroots Republicans that GOP Voter Vault started keeping a separate data field for registered Republicans who indicated they would never support Mike DeWine.

The same Mike DeWine whose second cousin Kevin, in his position as Chairman of the Ohio GOP, is busy trying to reconstruct a party in shambles thanks to damage done by liberals like Mike.

So I'll ask the question once again: Will the Ohio Republican Party cement their minority status by backing anti-gun Mike DeWine for Attorney General?

A separate email from the Green County Republican Party indicates the campaign announcement will be held on the second floor of the Green County Courthouse, and says "PLEASE COME AND INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!"

Here's hoping some pro-gun voters accept their invitation. Come and invite your friends. And bring your "Anybody but Mike" signs. Bring your "Mike go home" signs. Bring your "Vote Freedom First" signs. Bring your "What part of 'shall not be infringed' don't you understand?" signs. "PLEASE COME AND INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!"

You can be sure the same social club members of the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County that have been complicit with, and have aided the local Democrats in destroying Cuyahoga County will be like wide-eyed, spittle drooling zombies that Little Mikie will be running for AG.

If DeWine wins the Elephant Clan primary, and God forbid the election, it will only be a matter of time before our guns are being melted down to build a statue somewhere.

Dinner with Obama; A Parable

Once upon a time, I was invited to the White House for a private dinner with the President. I am a respected businessman, with a factory that produces memory chips for computers and portable electronics. There was some talk that my industry was being scrutinized by the administration, but I paid it no mind. I live in a free country. There's nothing that the government can do to me if I've broken no laws. My wealth was earned honestly, and an invitation to dinner with an American President
is an honor.

I checked my coat, was greeted by the Chief of Staff, and joined the President in a yellow dining room. We sat across from each other at a table draped in white linen. The Great Seal was embossed on the china. Uniformed staff served our dinner.

The meal was served, and I was startled when my waiter suddenly reached out, plucked a dinner roll off my plate, and began nibbling it as he walked back to the kitchen.

"Sorry about that," said the President, "Andrew is very hungry."

"I don't appreciate..." I began, but as I looked into the calm brown eyes across from me, I felt immediately guilty and petty. It was just a dinner roll. "Of course," I concluded, and reached for my glass. Before I could, however, another waiter reached forward, took the glass away and swallowed the wine in a single gulp.

"And his brother Eric is very thirsty." said the President.

I didn't say anything. The President is testing my compassion, I thought. I will play along. I don't want to seem unkind.

My plate was whisked away before I had tasted a bite.

"Eric's children are also quite hungry."

With a lurch, I crashed to the floor. My chair had been pulled out from under me. I stood, brushing myself off angrily, and watched as it was carried from the room.

"And their grandmother can't stand for long."

I excused myself, smiling outwardly, but inside feeling like a fool. Obviously I had been invited to the White House to be sport for some game. I reached for my coat, to find that it had been taken. I turned back to the President.

"Their grandfather doesn't like the cold."

I wanted to shout – that was my coat! But again, I looked at the placid smiling face of my host and decided I was being a poor sport. I spread my hands helplessly and chuckled. Then I felt my hip pocket and realized my wallet was gone. I excused myself and walked to a phone on an elegant side table. I learned shortly that my credit cards had been maxed out, my bank accounts emptied, my retirement and equity portfolios had vanished, and my wife had been thrown out of our home. Apparently, the waiters and their families were moving in. The President hadn't moved or spoken as I learned all this, but finally I lowered the phone into its cradle and turned to face him.

"Andrew's whole family has made bad financial decisions. They haven't planned for retirement, and they need a house. They recently defaulted on a subprime mortgage. I told them they could have your home. They need it more than you do."

My hands were shaking. I felt faint. I stumbled back to the table and knelt on the floor. The President cheerfully cut his meat, ate his steak and drank his wine. I lowered my eyes and stared at the small grey circles on the tablecloth that were water drops.

"By the way," He added, "I have just signed an Executive Order nationalizing your factories. I'm firing you as head of your business. I'll be operating the firm now for the benefit of all mankind. There's a whole bunch of Erics and Andrews out there and they can't come to you for jobs groveling like beggars."

I looked up. The President dropped his spoon into the empty ramekin which had been his creme brulee. He drained the last drops of his wine. As the table was cleared, he lit a cigarette and leaned back in his chair. He stared at me. I clung to the edge of the table as if were a ledge and I were a man hanging over an abyss. I thought of the years behind me, of the life I had lived. The life I had earned with a lifetime of work, risk and struggle. Why was I punished? How had I allowed it to be taken? What game had I played and lost? I looked across the table and noticed with some surprise that there was no game board between us.

What had I done wrong?

As if answering the unspoken thought, the President suddenly cocked his head, locked his empty eyes to mine, and bared a million teeth, chuckling wryly as he folded his hands.

"You should have stopped me at the dinner roll," he said.

New Interrogation Techniques Being Discussed

The White House is considering overhauling interrogation techniques of suspected terrorists by creating a small team of professionals drawn from across the government, people familiar with the proposal told The Wall Street Journal.

The new unit, made of members of spy services and law-enforcement agencies, would be used for so-called high-value detainees, The Wall Street Journal reports. Who would be overseeing these new efforts remains unclear, but it would not be the Central Intelligence Agency, marking a clear shift from Bush-era policies.

The team would likely be charged with devising a new set of interrogation methods, a person familiar with the proposal tells the paper. Those techniques could be drawn from sources ranging from scientific studies to the psychology behind television ads.

The new interrogation team, if created, would represent the Obama administration’s effort to steer away from a contentious counterterrorism issue that has dogged the CIA and Justice Department since a U.S. network of secret prisons was revealed in 2005. (National Terror Alert)

It's going to be splendid! Coordinating with Tom Bodette of Motel 6, the administration has arranged it so the terror suspects will now have a nice mattress and someone to leave the light on for them. This will be topped off with being served cookies & milk before bed time. Any suspects found to be long lost relatives of Obama's will be given a free pass into the country and the guest room next to his mother in law at his Red Shed on the Hill.

As a way to gain useful information against their TNT laden vest wearing friends, these suspects will be treated to a day at the water park instead of a day of water boarding. There will be no bikini babes for lifeguards here... oh no -- they will be treated to hot babes in burquas strutting their stuff around as they sexily twirl their lifeguard whistles.

Showing our kindness and respect for freedom of religion, teams of Islamikaze clerics will be allowed open visits with the suspects. This will be allowed for inspection purposes to make sure we are treating our guests nicely -- this way the world will start to like us again. And of course the Islamikaze clerics will be allowed to give readings about the religion of peace from the Koran.

After learning they pose no threat, these jihadikaze suspects will be given full US citizenship.

So they are not a drain on society, they will have their choice of 7-11's or any other stale meat selling corner store located in the inner city. Here it will be much easier for them to conduct food stamp fraud and send the money back to their special charity back home. Gas Stations, Mosques and Madrasses will be selected on a lottery basis and those who had the most "Jihadikaze Play Friend of The Month" awards will be made airline pilots.

Their new homes will be in the suburbs. It has been studied that their free relocation into the homes of Americans being foreclosed on, will stop the problem of empty homes across the country. This will also aid in the Suburban Reunification Plan where out of work, now homeless middle class Americans are slowly integrated into the new Suburban Public Housing Units.

These "shovel-ready" rent subsidized units will be built with out of work Americans conscripted into the "Build America Now" program. If you are good, believe in this new change and get weak in the knees when you hear the Big O's name, you will be given a job at one of the government run auto plants or banks.

To keep paper work at a minimum and to guarantee fair banking practices, rent payments for their Suburban Public Housing Unit will be deducted immediately from their payroll check when cashed at the Bank of Osama. Oops, I meant Bank of Obama.

They did not yet have a specific time or location for the event.

The appearance comes as Obama's health care plan is in jeopardy of falling apart. Republicans and some Democrats have criticized it as too expensive.

The Cost of Illegal Immigration on Socialized Health Care

How do we know this is true? Obama has proposed a 50 billion-dollar reduction in Medicare benefits for Senior Adults. No country in the world has implemented socialized medicine without imposing strict rationing standards on its citizens. This is the only way that such a plan can 'save money.'

This is why Obama's first choice to oversee the process (before it was discovered he was knee-deep in a tax evasion scandal), former Senator Tom Dascle, stated in a book he authored that 'the elderly have a responsibility to die, knowing that they are not going to survive their chronic illnesses, so that society can save money and pump funds into caring for younger, more worthy recipients.'

Along with playing God by crating up & burying any of the seniors old enough to fart dust, our congressional critters are discussing how they can further tighten the noose on our necks & wallets by forcing us to pay for the government health care for the border jumping bandito's and any moving van packed full of Chico's they call relatives and their family pets (Goats & Roosters) .

But it’s hard to envision how health reform can avoid tripping the immigration booby trap. Approximately 15–22 percent of the 46 million residents of the United States without health coverage are illegal aliens. That’s about 9 or 10 million people. More generally, a third of the foreign-born are uninsured, Census data analyzed by the Center for Immigration Studies show. That means something like 12.6 million people, or more than a fourth of the total uninsured, are immigrants, both legal and illegal. Since 1989, immigration is responsible for 71 percent of the rise in those without health insurance. The fact is, the problem of the uninsured would be a more manageable one if the U.S. were not admitting millions of uninsured immigrants.

Two health-care plans working their way through Congress — the bill from the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP), and a draft outline put together by Baucus’s Finance Committee — could suffer because of this interaction between immigration and medicine.

For example, the HELP bill’s proponents hope to expand Medicaid so that everyone earning up to 50 percent above the federal poverty level can enroll (currently, Medicaid income requirements vary by state, with the poverty level being the usual limit). Since immigration law only requires relatives who sponsor someone for an immigrant visa to earn 25 percent above the poverty level, the end result would be that someone poor enough to qualify for Medicaid would be able to sponsor new immigrants to the U.S. What are the chances that these newcomers sponsored by Medicaid recipients would be able to afford health insurance when their sponsors can’t?

And under the Finance Committee’s plan, tax credits for buying insurance would be available to individuals who earn up to three times the poverty level. (That’s $32,490 for individuals and $66,150 for families of four.) Like other refundable tax credits — meaning that if your tax credit is worth more than you pay in taxes, the government sends you a check for the difference — this health-coverage tax credit would amount to a welfare-type subsidy funded by those Americans who pay taxes. Soldier has Orders Revoked for challenging Obama's Eligibility

I do not think too highly of conscious objectors in the military. We routinely here how people sign up to be soldiers in return for free college benefits. Then when it is time to fight -- they no longer want to be a "soldier." The excuse... they didn't sign up for war.

Well here we have another objector -- but this guy is a little different... he refuses to serve under a person, Obama, who cannot prove he should even hold office. The White House response -- they revoked his orders. So does this mean this brave soldier is right about Obama's elegibility?

A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office.

His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded his impending deployment orders.

"We won! We won before we even arrived," she said with excitement. "It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate – and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order!"

She continued, "They just said, 'Order revoked.' No explanation. No reasons – just revoked." More...

This can pose a severe national security problem. And what if the rest of our soldiers do the same... will they too have their orders revoked?

Calling for End to Congressional Exemption from Obama Health Care

July 16th, 2009, Fairfax, VA—Americans for Limited Government president, Bill Wilson, today called upon members of the House of Representatives to adopt a resolution (H. Res. 615) stating that "Members who vote in favor of the establishment of a public, Federal Government run health insurance option are urged to forgo their right to participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) and agree to enroll under that public option."

The measure is sponsored by Congressman John Fleming and currently has 42 cosponsors. On his website, Fleming writes, "Under the current draft of the Democrat healthcare legislation, members of Congress are curiously exempt from the government-run health care option, keeping their existing health plans and services on Capitol Hill. If Members of Congress believe so strongly that government-run health care is the best solution for hard working American families, I think it only fitting that Americans see them lead the way."

"What's good for the goose is good for the gander," said ALG's Wilson. "If members of the House are expecting everyone to be a part of this government-run system, then they should be taken off the Federal Employee Health Benefits Plan and put on to this so-called public 'option' since they like it so much."

Currently, members of the House and Senate are covered by a health care plan offering a wide variety of options, including private coverage, according to the Federal Employee Health Benefits Plan website, "Federal employees, retirees and their survivors enjoy the widest selection of health plans in the country."

As participants, members of Congress can choose from "Consumer-Driven and High Deductible plans that offer catastrophic risk protection with higher deductibles, health savings/reimbursable accounts and lower premiums, or Fee-for-Service (FFS) plans, and their Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO), or Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) if you live (or sometimes if you work) within the area serviced by the plan."

"It's time for Washington to stop acting like an aristocracy, where Congress treats itself to luxuries and forces everybody else into convoluted, inefficient, and low-quality so-called 'options,'" said Wilson.

"Members of Congress know that the system they are proposing will be much, much worse than the health options they currently have," Wilson added. "What they need to acknowledge is that it will also be much, much worse than the options the American people currently have."

Wilson also called upon the House Committees on Education and Labor, Ways and Means, and Energy and Commerce to adopt a binding measure that would require all members of Congress to enroll in the government-run health insurance option if lawmakers adopt one.

A similar provision, proposed by Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK), has already been adopted in the Senate version of the bill. In order for it to be included in the House version, the "three-in-one" committee currently considering the legislation needs to add it in.

The Coburn amendment passed by a vote of 12-11 in committee with Senators Chris Dodd (D-Conn) and Ted Kennedy (D-Mass) voting with Senators John McCain (R-Ariz), Orrin G Hatch (R-Utah), Richard Burr (R-NC), Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn), Tom Coburn (R-Okla), Pat Roberts (R-Kan), Judd Gregg (R-NH), Johnny Isakson (R-Ga), and Mike Enzi (R-Wyo) in favor.

In committee, Senator Coburn said, "Let's demonstrate leadership—and confidence in the system—by requiring that every member of Congress go into it." 11 Democratic members voted no, including Senator Jeff Bingaman (D-N.M.), who said, "I don't know why we should require ourselves to participate in a plan that no one else needs to participate in."

"Senator Bingaman is still sticking to the big lie that the public 'option' will at all be optional," said Wilson.

"The unfortunate impact of this government-run health care proposal will be to crowd out private options, leaving Americans in the end with no other option but to use the Orwellian, abominable, government-run plan that will burden taxpayers with an insurmountable level of debt. This will be the largest government entitlement in human history, and it will break the public treasury," Wilson concluded.

Our First Affirmative Action Supreme Court Justice

As many now see part of the danger with Prenier Obamao is his country crushing socialist programs, the other, as warned before the election, would be his ability to seat judges. So now, we will most likely have our first affirmative action Supreme Court Justice.

In Sonya Sotomayor's eventual confirmation to the highest court in the land -- qualifications and experience have been tossed aside for sex and nationality. Our only hope is that during the confirmation hearings that start today, Sotomayor says something more stupid than she has said before...

When Sonia Sotomayor heads to Capitol Hill for the start of her Supreme Court confirmation hearings on July 13, she'll find two groups of players awaiting her: the Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats, who arguably have the easy job to flatter and protect President Obama's pick (Al Franken, the panel's newest member, might also provide some comic relief), and the panel's Republicans, whose primary task is to goad her into saying something inflammatory or indiscreet.

To that end, the seven Republican Senators have prepared four lines of attack. They will express concern about Sotomayor's comments that a "wise Latina, with the richness of her experiences would, more often than not, reach a better conclusion" than a judge from a more homogeneous background. They will focus on her recent Ricci v. Destefano decision, a reverse-discrimination case overturned last month by the Supreme Court. They'll grill her on her interest in foreign law - in their eyes an un-American curiosity that could pollute U.S. laws. Is India Supporting Terrorists in Pakistan?

The other day I posted on how, like Osama Bin Laden, Baitullah Mehsud would soon become a household name... well here he is again.

There are unconfirmed reports that India, Pakistans sworn enemy, is now getting involved and acting as an enabler for Mehsud. Reports state that as an attempt to cause global concern on the safety of Pakistani nukes, which there already should be, India is paying Mehsud to attack their nuclear installations.

According to a report by Ahmed Quraishi’s at the International Analyst Network, India has paid terrorist leader Baitullah Mehsud nearly $25 million to mount a spectacular attack on a major Pakistani nuclear site. Government officials have not confirmed this report however; there is speculation that it could be at least part of the reason for the stepped up effort to capture Mehsud and quickly end his reign of terror in the region.

The report states that Meshud has created a special force of nearly 500 recruits to mount the operation, a terror mission intended to “shock the world”. The purpose, Quraishi states, is to create an event that will capture global media attention and convince the world of the need for military intervention in Pakistan. Another objective he says, ” is to neutralize voices of reason within the U.S. government that believe Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is secure”.

While there are no specific details of when the plan was conceived, or whether the 500-strong force, now thought to be operating in smaller cells has been activated, Pakistan remains on a high state of alert, according to the report.

Ahmed Quraishi told the NTARC, “although the Strategic Plans Division (SPD) that oversees Pakistan’s nuclear and strategic programs is taking this threat very seriously, they won’t comment in public. He also added that at least one individual claiming to be a resident of the tribal region has been arrested near Islamabad conducting what appears to be ‘reconnaissance-type activity” in an area designated as a military zone.

The man President Obama has chosen to be his science czar once advocated a shocking approach to the "population crisis" feared by scientists at the time: namely, compulsory abortions in the U.S. and a "Planetary Regime" with the power to enforce human reproduction restrictions.

"There exists ample authority under which population growth could be regulated," wrote Obama appointee John Holdren, as reported by FrontPage Magazine. "It has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society."

Holdren's comments, made in 1977, mirror the astonishing admission this week of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who said she was under the impression that legalizing abortion with the 1973 Roe. v. Wade case would eliminate undesirable members of the populace, or as she put it "populations that we don't want to have too many of."

In 1977, when many scientists were alarmed by predictions of harmful environmental effects of human population growth, Holdren teamed with Paul R. Ehrlich, author of "The Population Bomb," and his wife, Anne, to pen "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment."

Holdren's book proposed multiple strategies to curb population growth, and, according to the quotes excerpted by FrontPage Magazine, advocated an international police force to ensure the strategies were carried out. More...

Republican leaders and most health care sector players -- including insurers, drug makers and doctors' associations -- oppose the idea. A new audio tape, reportedly from Osama bin Laden, entitled ‘Our Family Pakistan’ has been intercepted.

Targeted Actionable Monitoring Center (TAM-C) of the Institute of Terrorism Research and Response is analyzing.

Osama Bin Laden told Pakistanis their leaders are “allies of Satan” in a newly released tape, urging them to fight the offensive in tribal areas where Al Qaeda and the Taliban are entrenched.

“Are you for the establishment of the shariah or are you for those who wage war against it, from America, [Pakistani President] Zardari and his aides?” Bin Laden said, according to a transcript of the tape provided to the Daily News.

“Zardari and his army are the allies of Satan.”

Former Vice President Al Gore, whose "An Inconvenient Truth" video epistle on the claims of global warming has not weathered recent scientific research, now has promised at a conference in the United Kingdom that the impending virtual energy tax under the U.S. "cap-and-trade" legislation will bring about "global governance."

Gore, who this year famously left his Nashville mansion's driveway brightly illuminated during the "Earth Hour" event that promoted energy savings, was speaking at the Smith School World Forum on Enterprise and the Environment.

He cited the "cap-and-trade" legislation in the U.S. Congress that by President Obama's own estimate would cause utility bills to skyrocket for American consumers.

Meet Baitullah Mehsud Pakistan’s biggest problem, and the man who has taken his country of 176 million to the center of the West’s war on terror. Once described by a Pakistani general as a “soldier of peace,” he now carries a 50 million rupee (about $615,300) bounty on his head from Pakistan and a $5 million one from the United States.

Mehsud is earning the ire of the Pakistani military and Western policymakers alike as his movement destabilizes Pakistan, and the United States has destroyed several of his hide-outs with drone strikes in recent months.

His now-famous 2008 press conference — which came almost exactly a decade after Osama bin Laden called for the killing of Americans in a similar announcement just across the border in Khost, Afghanistan — was an extraordinary piece of stagecraft even for a commander with a certain penchant for public flare.

By incautiously exposing his location to a big group of journalists, Mehsud should have facilitated his own capture; that he didn’t serves as ongoing testament to the incompetence (and perhaps lack of will) of those who purport to pursue him.

Mehsud’s growing influence is of particular concern to Western policymakers because Pakistan represents the gravest general security threat to the international community — the prospect of a nuclear-armed al Qaeda. Keeping Pakistan’s nuclear weapons out of the hands of Islamist extremists is contingent on a stable Pakistani state, and Mehsud is the one man perhaps most capable of destabilizing it.

I have previously posted about the dangers of Mehsud. Wanting to be bigger than Osama Bin Laden, Mehsud is much more dangerous and is hell bent on obtaining nuclear weapons... and he is much closer than what is being reported.

In these previous posts, you will see Mehsud is best of buddies with Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, the Father of the Pakistan nuclear bomb. Kahn, a former spy, is responsible for selling nuclear technology to North Korea & Iran and was involved with Mehsud in the assassination of Prime Minister Benizir Bhutto.

Ohio Blogger - Maggie Thurber - Shows Leadership by Example

Unless your head has been in the sand the last few weeks, I am confident everyone is aware of the proposed Cap & Trade bill, or more lovingly known as Crap & Charade. Beside doubling our utility bills, the Crap & Charade would be a killer for the State of Ohio -- not to mention our country.

Ohio Blogger, Tea Party Patriot, fellow State of Ohio Bloggers Alliance member and all-around awesome American - Maggie Thurber of Thurbers Thoughts - just became a bigger pain in the butt for our tormented elected officials.

Maggie may have just turned us all onto an excellent tool for dealing with the 90 degree left turn our country has taken.

A week ago I followed the example of fellow blogger Maggie Thurber from Ohio in submitting a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to my representative in Congress. We wanted to discover the count of calls for and against the “Cap and Trade” bill voted on by our members in Congress on June 26.

Both Maggie and I were aware of a number of callers against this bill and wondered how many called in favor and how many called opposing the bill. We knew many opposed the bill because of the increased taxes and regulations the bill would impose, especially in a time of a depressed economy.

Many feared the bill would kill jobs and result in a loss of freedom. For example, do you want to be forced by Congress to make changes to your house before you can sell it? Do you want Congress trying to limit how much time you can spend in the shower?

Why would Congressman Moore from Kansas and Congresswoman Kaptur from Ohio vote for a bill if a large majority of their constituents opposed the bill?

On July 3 I sent my FOIA request via E-mail to Congressman Dennis Moore’s office, and followed up with faxed requests to his Overland Park and Washington, DC offices.

I was surprised to receive a response by mail from Congressman Moore’s office so quickly on July 11, but I was not happy with the content of the response. More...

Though Moore and most of our other Congressmen feel they are above the law, feel they do not have to answer to us and have the infinite wisdumb of trained lab rat, if all of us took Maggie's advice, a pissed off House on the Hill is what we would have. And that is a good thing!

Even though our leap off the Cap & Trade cliff has been temporarily postponed until September, this out of the box thinking by Maggie can and will be a very effective course of action in our fight to take back our country.

Our elected officials work for us, by channeling your anger over Moore's response I urge you to follow Maggie's example of sending an FOIA to your congressperson (and Senators) and remind them of that.

Massachusetts: A Health Care Model Not to Copy

The Obama-Kennedy health plan is modeled after the Massachusetts plan which, when adopted, many applauded as innovative and destined for success. In fact, the Massachusetts plan has been a massive failure and is a model for what not to do.

It has increased costs. It has wasted taxpayer dollars. It has limited patients' choice. It has hurt small business. It has failed to achieve its goal of universal coverage. Most objectionable, it has created shortages and waiting lists.

Promoters predicted that the Massachusetts plan would lower health-care costs but, so far, costs are moving in the opposite direction. State government spending on health-care programs in Massachusetts has increased by 42 percent since the plan was adopted in 2006, and currently is 33 percent above the national average.

Advocates promised that the Massachusetts plan would make health insurance more affordable but, according to a Cato study, insurance premiums have been increasing at nearly double the national average: 7.4 percent in 2007, 8 to 12 percent in 2008, and an expected 9 percent increase this year. Health insurance in Massachusetts costs an average of $16,897 for a family of four, compared to a national average of $12,700.

The Massachusetts plan incorporates a system of middle-class subsidies called Commonwealth Care to help pay for insurance for families with incomes up to 300 percent of poverty level ($66,150 for a family of four), and also expanded eligibility for Medicaid.

The Massachusetts Connector, a new bureaucracy that was supposed to increase patient choice, has become an overbearing regulatory arm of government that has decreased competition by prescribing benefits insurance must offer. The Connector is evidently unpopular with patients, since only 18,000 people have used the Connector to buy insurance during the past three years.

The Connector has imposed regulations that add to the cost of insurance and limit consumer choice, such as requiring prescription-drug coverage and preventive-care services, restricting high-deductible policies, and putting limits on annual or per-sickness policies. Complying with the Connector's rules means changing from your current insurance that you like.

The costs to the taxpayers are rising, too, and one tax increase has not satisfied the appetite of the hungry plan. The prospect of huge deficits has elicited discussion of cuts in reimbursements to providers and the imposition of a "global budget," which is a euphemism for rationing.

Even though Massachusetts has more doctors per capita than any other state, the Boston Globe reports that waiting periods to see physicians have grown. The average wait is now 63 days to see a family doctor, 50 days to see a specialist, and the second trimester of pregnancy to see an obstetrician-gynecologist.

If you want to see the busiest, most popular physicians, the wait can be up to a year. The longer waits are the result of thousands of newly insured residents coming into the health-care system.

Massachusetts has reduced the number of uninsured, but there are no reliable figures on how many are still uninsured since some statistics are based on telephone surveys that don't reach significant groups of people who lack landline telephones (such as young people and illegal aliens). Cato estimates that 200,000 are still uninsured.

If the number of uninsured had been measurably reduced, that should be reflected in the use of hospitals' emergency care facilities for uncompensated care. But hospitals don't confirm this effect.

Small business is hurting, too. The Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council ranks Massachusetts last of all the 50 states for business-friendly health-care policies.

A June 21 front-page article in the New York Times reported that one cancer unit in a Philadelphia Veterans Administration hospital bungled 92 of 116 prostate cancer treatments over six years (requiring these patients to undergo a second operation) before the errors were discovered. The real problem is that the government cannot run health care safely (or cheaper).

Canada is another model of what not to do. It's fortunate that Canada is so close to the United States because Canadians rely on American medicine for serious surgery.

De facto rationing in Canada is practiced by waiting lists rather than by using its realistic name. The Globe and Mail reports that the physician shortage is so acute that some towns hold lotteries to win a ticket granting access to the local doctor, and that Ontario sent 160 patients to New York and Michigan for emergency neurosurgery between 2006 and 2008.

Although President Obama told the American Medical Association that single-payer (government-controlled) health care works "pretty well" in other countries, no government has ever been able to run a health-care system as well as private enterprise. Less regulation of health care, not more government control, is the way to healthier Americans and lower costs.

Health Care -- Public Option or Public Mandate?

It appears the health care "public option" is more like a mandate by proxy...

Like all big lies, the public “option” deceives individuals not only through distortion, but also omission. And unless the American people are warned and stand up for the true health options they currently possess, Barack Obama and Congress will rapidly enact legislation that is designed to degrade and, eventually, destroy those choices that Americans today take for granted.

Through a sleight of hand, proponents of the public “option” act as if there are not already other public options already available when there are: Medicare, Medicaid, and other state and local services for the elderly, poor, and children.

This is the omission. It is designed to fool the American people that they do not already have enough “choices” in health care. That the government does not do enough already. Or that, somehow, there are not enough options currently available. Which, of course, is a lie.

The U.S. spends more on health care than any other nation. As of 2006, the Census Bureau estimates that some 201.7 million, or 71.5 percent of Americans with health insurance, get their insurance privately. 28.5 percent of those with insurance, or 80.3 million, get it from the government.

Presently, the average premium for single coverage is $4,700, according to the National Coalition on Health Care. All told, in 2007, the U.S. spent $2.4 trillion in total health care spending.

Not enough options? $2.4 trillion is just the beginning. The price tag for health care expenditures, NCHC projects, will rise to $3.1 trillion by 2012, and $4.3 trillion by 2016.

Advocates claim this will create competition between the public and private sectors—as if the private sector could compete with a “business” with an unlimited money supply that has no incentive to even operate in the black. This year alone it finds itself in a $1.8 trillion hole, before any public “option” has even been enacted.

Once passed, the federal government will cover what it can through revenue, and then just borrow and/or print the rest. What will private health carriers do?

Since they cannot charge lower rates and then borrow to make ends meet, they’ll lose customers. And then have to jack up premiums ever further in order to stay solvent.

Employers on the other hand will have lost the incentive to provide coverage to employees. To save costs, they’ll pass the buck back to the taxpayers, who will now be guaranteed coverage through the public “option.”

The greatest misrepresentation of all is that the public “option” will at all be optional. It will not be. Because it cannot be. It is designed to crowd out private options by guaranteeing coverage on a federal level—indeed, by mandating it.

President Obama seems optimistic: “When I say if you have your plan and you like it… or you have a doctor and you like your doctor, that you don't have to change plans, what I'm saying is the government is not going to make you change plans under health reform.”

Of course, even if there is no sweeping mandate to use the public “option,” the law of gravity still applies—the larger mass shall attract the smaller masses towards it. This is how monopolies are formed, whether state-run or not.

The big lie is that the American people will have any choice at all but to use the public “option,” which will be the only option left.

It appears the #3 holy dude, The Pope, (God & Jesus are #1 & #2) has either been bought off by the progressive left or has just simply lost his mind!

While I agree with some of what the Pope said, that businesses need to be modeled, "with common good by prioritizing ethics and social responsibility over dividend returns." I believe these are very important for businesses. However, the Holy Honcho then goes off the deep end and issued an encyclical, “Charity in Truth,” declaring what sounds like he is endorsing more world wide welfare, a global currency & a new world order...

In the third encyclical of his pontificate, Benedict pressed for reform of the United Nations and international economic and financial institutions to give poorer countries more of a say in international policy.

“There is urgent need (for) a true world political authority” that can manage the global economy, guarantee the environment is protected, ensure world peace and bring about food security for the poor, he wrote.

The Pope continues on with his babbling spouting about a larger unionized work force, that capitalism endangers the rights & jobs of workers, global warming, increasing educational funding and opportunities and reducing energy consumption. Can someone say "Illuminati?"

Now, before the holy rollers tell me I am going to hell - I already know. I was raised Catholic, and I have a strong belief in God and Jesus Christ. Even though I still look at myself as catholic - I refuse to go by some of their over reaching stupidity. Yes, the church can and does do some stupid things... and this would be considered one of them!

The unions, out growing their purpose, have cost millions of jobs to be lost, capitalism ensures the rights and decent pay for workers / along with creating job opportunities, global warming has yet to be proven as fact, the more money we spend on education & coddling - the dumber & more liberal our kids get and windmills can't power the world -- even with his & Obama's hot air!

This below posts notes a Democrat that is not so thrilled spitless about government run health care. That he is a pawn for the insurance companies is no sigh of relief though -- as they are also contributing to the health care problems we face today.

The money being poured into saddling us with a government run socialized health care will easily rival. if not far outpace, that of the lobbyists against it. But notice "In the bag for Obama" MSNBC (Mao's Socialist Network for Boosting Communism), notes nothing about the socialist forces and funds from the progressive left influencing those supporting socialized hellth care...

How large of a role do campaign contributions play when it comes time to vote on controversial legislation? That's the question that MSNBC's David Shuster poised to Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.) Monday night. Citing data from the Center for Responsive Politics, the report noted that Carper has collected $223,460 from all types of insurers since 2005, and $122,870 from the pharmaceutical and health products
industry.

Carper, like many in the health industry, prefers that a government-backed health insurance plan be offered only as a back-up measure to private insurance. Moreover, our latest health care money analysis, part of our series on health care reform, shows that the Delaware Democrat has raised $238,460 from health insurers alone since 2000, and $341,464 from pharmaceutical companies.

"Why shouldn't people believe that your decision to say a public option as a back-up plan," Shuster asked, "why shouldn't people believe that it's been influenced by the money you've gotten from insurance companies and from pharmaceutical [companies], who don't want a public option at all or as a back-up plan as a worse case scenario?"

Carper denied any conflict of interest. "The most effective lobbyists for me in everything I've ever done are actually people from Delaware," he said.

The broadcast also touched on a Washington Post article, which examines former government staffers and retired members of Congress who have gone through the revolving door of influence to become part of the health industry's $1.4 million-a-day lobbying effort on health care. As we noted earlier, that piece, too, used CRP data.

For me, and hopefully the rest of our country - if their smart, should be against socialized health care. If you think the private insurance companies are a pain -- how well do you think the red tape of government will make it any better?

The issues plaguing the post office, an ineffective, failure to change with the times, government subsidized service that is in the first steps of failure & going broke -- will define our new hellth care.

Murtha Donor Charged with Taking Kickbacks

Murtha received $65,000 more than any other official. Murtha returned the favor in earmarks -- politics as usual. Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio), whose name has surfaced in the investigation also received $4000.

Richard Ianieri, the defense contractor charged today with accepting $200,000 in kickbacks from a subcontractor, was president of a company that gave more money to Rep. John Murtha than any other lawmaker. That company, Coherent Systems International, received millions of dollars in earmarks from Murtha, and continued giving money to the Pennsylvania Democrat after Ianieri left Coherent and Argon ST bought it.

The criminal complaint filed yesterday reportedly did not name the subcontractor, according to Roll Call.

In total, the employees of Coherent, and employees and political action committees of Argon and its subsidiaries, have given $81,950 to Murtha's campaign committee and leadership PAC since the 2004 election cycle, according to a Center for Responsive Politics analysis.

Murtha has not been accused of any wrongdoing. But the congressman ranks as the top recipient of funds from now-defunct lobbying firm, PMA Group, and its defense-related clients.

Just like Maureen Dowd, Colin Powell seems to be the latest Obama supporter with buyers remorse...

"I think one of the cautions that has to be given to the president — and I've talked to some of his people about this — is that you can't have so many things on the table that you can't absorb it all. And we can't pay for it all," Powell said on CNN's "State of the Union."

"I think the president, as he moves forward with his initiatives, has to start really taking a very, very hard look at what the cost of all this is," Powell said. "And how much additional bureaucracy and will it be effective bureaucracy be needed to make all of this happen.

"More Powell: "I never would have believed that we would have budgets that are running into the multi-trillions of dollars, and we are amassing a huge, huge national debt that, if we don't pay for in our lifetime, our kids and grandkids and great grandchildren will have to pay for it."

The acquisition will “strengthen the public banking system,” which favors sectors including agriculture, energy, housing and tourism, Finance Minister Ali Rodriguez said in a statement.

Combined with other state banks, the government will now control about 21 percent of deposits and 16 percent of loans, a payroll of 15,000 employees and 651 bank branches.

“That’s how the Japanese were rounded up and put into the internment camps. I’m not saying that’s what the administration is planning to do. But I am saying that private, personal information that was given to the

"However, we can not emphasize enough how important it is for every individual to fill out their census forms," they write. "… The unfortunate irony is that Ms. Bachmann's boycott only increases the likelihood that ACORN-recruited census takers will be dispatched to her constituents' homes. The Real Crooks of Cuyahoga County: The Greater Cleveland Politboro

I knew it would only be a matter of time before the Cuyahoga County Crooks - The Greater Cleveland Partnership - would come out publicly regarding the reform proposals in Cuyahgoa County.

Understand this - the Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) is one of the major reasons this region has failed miserably. These suit & tie suck asses of the business elite from this area should be put on the Good Time II and sunk three miles out in Lake Erie.

The GCP, not willing to be left out and wanting to consolidate their stranglehold of what is left of our county have now offered financial support to get the Cuyahoga County Reform proposal on the upcoming ballot...

The Greater Cleveland Partnership announced Tuesday that it has given $100,000 to an effort to get a measure on the November ballot that would reform the way Cuyahoga County is governed.

Joe Roman, Partnership president and chief executive, said the contribution should be enough to help the group collect the 45,000 signatures needed by mid-July to put the measure on the ballot this fall.

"We really feel this is something the voters should be able to weigh in on," Roman said. (PD)

Roman is a joke! People do not be fooled! This was the same group that created a study to match their pre-determined, cherry -picked site selection for the Med Mart - Sam Millers Swampland. If you remember -- the GCP -- was the group pushing to FORCE the sale tax increase on us for the Med Mart - without a vote of the people. Now - they feel what the people have to say is important. Or is it our voices are important so we can help them advance their pocket lining agenda?

For the record, the GCP, Positively Cleveland, Republican Party of Cuyahoga County, the local media & the Cuyahoga County Mayors & City Managers Assoc. were all complicit in stifling the voice of the people on putting the sales tax increase on the ballot. Trust me, I am all for change. But the current reform proposals are nothing more than cosmetic change. We are doing nothing more than shuffling the cards with a marked GCP deck. Not only will this paper reform give the GCP more elected offices to buy off and control. In fact, it will greatly decrease any attempts by us to hold the county elected officials accountable.

The group pushing to get the reform on the ballot are nothing more than pawns for The Greater Cleveland Politboro. The problem is the players driving the ship - not the system itself. The same people that have run this area into the ground, now want to fix what they did or have allowed. It's Official: Ganley Running for Senate

Tom Ganley has announced he will be running to replace Senator George RINOvich. Ganley will be running against former congressman, Bush flunkie and GOP favorite - Rob Portman.

The Ohio Republican Party State Central Committee endorsed Portman today. For those that don't know what this means... it means that all the Republicans that have failed us repeatedly want you to vote for Portman. For me that is a good enough reason not to vote for the darling of the Ohio Retard Party favorite Port-a-Potty Portman.

Without even holding his ash tray like personality against him - Portman is a lifetime politician. Do you want to vote for a life-time politician - again?

Ganley has an uphill fight and is already being dismissed and attacked by the Ohio GOP and their little mindless party hacks. Without even hearing what Ganley has to say the party hacks at the state and local level are only concerned in getting goody points for their social club membeships.
