Is India Supporting Terrorists in Pakistan?

The other day I posted on how, like Osama Bin Laden, Baitullah Mehsud would soon become a household name... well here he is again.

There are unconfirmed reports that India, Pakistans sworn enemy, is now getting involved and acting as an enabler for Mehsud. Reports state that as an attempt to cause global concern on the safety of Pakistani nukes, which there already should be, India is paying Mehsud to attack their nuclear installations.

From National Terror Alert --
According to a report by Ahmed Quraishi’s at the International Analyst Network, India has paid terrorist leader Baitullah Mehsud nearly $25 million to mount a spectacular attack on a major Pakistani nuclear site. Government officials have not confirmed this report however; there is speculation that it could be at least part of the reason for the stepped up effort to capture Mehsud and quickly end his reign of terror in the region.

The report states that Meshud has created a special force of nearly 500 recruits to mount the operation, a terror mission intended to “shock the world”. The purpose, Quraishi states, is to create an event that will capture global media attention and convince the world of the need for military intervention in Pakistan. Another objective he says, ” is to neutralize voices of reason within the U.S. government that believe Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is secure”.

While there are no specific details of when the plan was conceived, or whether the 500-strong force, now thought to be operating in smaller cells has been activated, Pakistan remains on a high state of alert, according to the report.

Ahmed Quraishi told the NTARC, “although the Strategic Plans Division (SPD) that oversees Pakistan’s nuclear and strategic programs is taking this threat very seriously, they won’t comment in public. He also added that at least one individual claiming to be a resident of the tribal region has been arrested near Islamabad conducting what appears to be ‘reconnaissance-type activity” in an area designated as a military zone.

N. Korea & Iran Challenge Obama with more Missile Launches & Naval Build Up

Seeing President Odipweed has no back bone, is only able to speak from a teleprompter and routinely back tracks on his statements - North Korea again acts with impunity by following up their 20 kiloton underground nuke test by launching 3 short range missiles...

From Global Security --
North Korea carried out on Monday a total of three test launches of short-range ground-to-air missiles following a successful nuclear test, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said.

North Korea announced earlier in the day it had conducted a successful underground nuclear test explosion "as part of the measures to bolster its nuclear deterrent for self-defense."

Citing an unidentified South Korean source, Yonhap said the first launch of a ground-to-air missile with a range of 130 kilometers (80 miles) from its northeastern Musudan-ri launch site was conducted shortly after the nuclear test and was followed several hours later by two additional missile launches.
In my post about the North Korean nuke test yesterday - I stated "Iran will soon be calling N. Korea." As predicted, Iranian President Imachickenhead, also understands never letting a crisis go to waste and is flexing his naval muscles in the Gulf of Aden...
“Iran has dispatched six … warships to international waters and the Gulf of Aden region in a historically unprecedented move by the Iranian Navy,” Iranian Adm. Habibollah Sayyari told a gathering of armed forces officials, Reuters reported.

Sayyari said the ships were moved to preserve Iran’s territorial integrity in its southern waters, but foreign policy experts are calling it an aggressive move targeted at a Western audience as much as for regional powers like rival Saudi Arabia.

The deployment is “a signal of military strength, resolve and continued defiance to U.S. and U.N. Security Council efforts to end the impasse over Iran’s nuclear program,” said Jim Phillips, senior fellow for Middle Eastern Affairs at the Heritage Institute.

Phillips said Ahmadinejad was using the opportunity to thumb his nose at the U.S. and U.N. to advance his own popularity in Iran ahead of the country’s hotly contested June 12 election. (National Terror Alert)

North Korea conducts Nuke Test

You can be sure the insane little midget in N. Korea will be getting a call from Iran...

From National Terror Alert --

Tremors from a 4.7 magnitude artificial earthquake were detected just before ten o’clock local time, after North Korea detonated a bomb in a bunker six miles underground.

The rogue state, which had previously tested a nuclear weapon in October 2006, boasted that its latest test was more powerful “in terms of its explosive power” and more technologically-advanced.

“We successfully conducted another underground nuclear test on May 25 as part of measures aimed at strengthening our self-defence nuclear deterrent in every way,” said the state-run North Korean news wire.

The test will “contribute to safeguarding our sovereignty and socialism and guaranteeing peace and safety on the Korean peninsula and the surrounding region,” it added.

The test site was around 230 miles north east of Pyongyang, according to the United States Geological Survey. The location is just a few miles from where North Korea tested its first nuclear device in 2006.

Yonhap, the South Korean news wire, also reported that a single ground-to-air missile, with a range of 80 miles, was fired from a launch site nearby just a few hours later. The rogue state is not thought to have yet developed a missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, experts said.

Taro Aso, the Japanese prime minister, said he would set up a task force to handle the situation and seek an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss a plan of action.

The US, meanwhile, said it was not able to confirm the reports of a test, and was seeking “more information from its allies” before making a statement.

N. Korea has also tested a short range missile and has long range missile capabilities. Already having enough weapons grade material for 5-6 nukes, North Korea is also threatening to restart their reactors.

Not to worry... the international community will be telling the UN on them. It is expected the UN will send them in a corner for a mandatory 10 minute "time out" for their bad behavior.

If this does not work I heard they are threatening NK with nude pics of Nancy Pelosi and Janet Totalitano. I'm afraid this maybe the only realistic chance we have of curbing their hell-bent desire on creating themself as a nuclear super power.

Kuwaiti Professor Dreams of a Biological Attack on USA

Hey, I thought the Jihadikazes were going to like us if Obama won...

From National Terror Alert --

In this speech Kuwaiti Professor Abdallah Nafisi openly speaks of how he fantasizes of a biological attack at the White House and prays for the bombing of a nuclear plant on Lake Michigan.

Father of Pakistan Nuclear Bomb set Free from House Arrest

This is not good!

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, aka "Father of the Pakistan Nuclear Bomb," has been freed from house arrest. Kahn, a former spy for Pakistan, was placed under house arrest by Pakistani officials in 2004 when he admitted selling nuclear technology to North Korea, Iran & Libya.

Over the years of creating his own black market "Wal-Mart for Nukes," besides helping out NK, Iran & Libya, he also helped Iraq & Syria with their quest for nuclear weapons. Our entrepreneurial muslim nuke nut has established ties & worked with Islamic militant groups in Kashmir, the Taliban, Osama Bin Laden & Al-Qaeda since at least 1996.

Kahn's detention and friendship with terrorist, Baitullah Mehsud, a ruthless tribal warlord from South Waziristan in northern Pakistan has been given as one of the reasons for the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

Did Iran Test a Nuclear Bomb?

If this is true - all the more reason to elect John McCain.

From Israel Insider --
This past Saturday night, southern Iran experienced what was reported as a significant earthquake - a seismic event measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was just north of the strategic Straits of Hormuz, which separates Iran from Abu Dhabi and Oman and which is the gateway to the Persian Gulf.

The report quotes an Iranian nuclear scientist who claims to be working in uranium enrichment for the project, and who said that the "quake" was acutally an undergound nuclear bomb test.

Israel Insider adds that the test/quake was actually the second in a series. Nine days ago, a 4.8 Richter scale event occurred, with its epicenter only five kilometers away from the weekend tremor.

The Israel Insider source reports that two nuclear rockets are currently ready - and are intended for use against Israel in the coming months. More...

This just keeps making me think about Biden saying how if Barack is elected our country will be tested and that Barack is not ready to lead.

But Biden was clear on who he did feel could lead our country in the trying times we face - John McCain.

Iran threatens US with suicide bombers

As predicted by Barack's running mate - Joe Biden - if Obama is elected we will face an attack.

From The Jerusalem Post --
Referring to the US army's attacks in Pakistan and Syria, Larijani said they would not be answered with diplomatic protests.

"The US method and conduct, expressed by this aggression, will only be stopped by a clear-cut and unexpected response, whose grounds were set by the martyr Hussein Fahmida," Larijani said during a parliamentary session on Wednesday.

Fahmida was 13 when he detonated an explosive device he carried on him, destroying an Iraqi tank during the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980s.

"America should be aware not to put its huge body on top of the suicide bombers' explosive devices," Larijani said.

Reports are now coming out that the recent earthquake in Iran was actually a nuclear bomb test. As the election nears and we await the expected message from Osama Bin Laden, there is confirmation that Al-Qaeda is also gearing up for another attack on U.S. soil.

It took Barack 20 yrs to figure out Rev. Wright, who knows how long it took him to figure out Ayers was an American terrorist ( if he even does) and that Rezco was a crook. In this dangerous time, as a nation, errors in judgement like this by our President may cost an untold number of American lives - be it here or abroad.

So can we afford for Barack to be our president? Well, his running mate does not think so...

Again paraphrasing Barack's buddy Biden - this is not the time for on the job training & Barack is not ready to lead our country!

Russia Threatens it may Bomb any U.S. Missile Defense in Europe

This developing situation needs someone, like John McCain, that knows what the hell he is doing and is VERY CLEAR in his response.

We cannot afford someone that is wishy-washy and unable in articulating what he - REALLY MEANS - like Barack Obama.

From Global Security --

Russian news reports say a top defense official has warned that Russia may point ballistic weapons at a U.S. missile defense system in Europe.

News agencies Wednesday quote General Nikolai Solovtsyov as saying Russia may take the action if the United States moves forward with a missile defense plan in Poland and the Czech Republic.

The United States and Poland signed a missile defense agreement in Warsaw last month. It allows the United States to deploy 10 defensive missiles in Poland. The United States also plans to set up guidance radar in the Czech Republic. More...

Russia launches bomb that can beat U.S. Missile Defense

If you wondered who was still calling the shots in Russia - just guess! Putin is again melting the freeze on the Cold War by revving up the arms race...

From Times of India -- (Link Added)
Russia on Thursday launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that beats anti-ballistic missile (ABM) systems in hitting high-security facilities, media reports said.

Russia's prime minister Vladimir Putin said that the recent tests are a direct response to harsh, unreasonable actions by Nato countries.

"There is no need to fear Russia's actions, they are not aggressive... They are aimed at maintaining balance in the world order, and are extremely important for maintaining peace and security globally," Putin said.

The Topol (RS-12M) ICBM, launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome, is equipped with features designed to defeat ABM systems. It flew 6,000km and successfully hit a target on the Kura testing ground, in Kamchatka in Russia's Far East, the Interfax news agency said. More...

Back in February Putin, already boasting ownership of a thermobaric bomb dubbed the "Dad of All Bombs," started rattling his sabre's by threatening to aim missles at the Ukraine if they joined NATO and allowed us to build a missile defense system there. Vlad has also turned up the rhetoric by threatening Poland with a nuclear attack after they allowed our Missile Defense System to be installed.

Vlad is no fool! Other than the obvious reasons, they hate us, Vlad is making his moves and flexing his muscles purposely during our election. Being the predator that he is, Putin is eye balling a divided U.S. and testing the waters. He see's opportunity to strengthen Russia and the the possibilty of a weak President being elected - Obama!

It took Obama 20 years and many missed chances to figure out what Rev. Wright was about - how many chances do you think Putin will give him?

China confirms Iranian desire for Nuclear Weapons

Looks like the first Iran Nuke Report was right....

From Iran Focus --

China has betrayed one its closest allies by providing the United Nations with intelligence on Iran's efforts to acquire nuclear technology, diplomats have revealed.

Beijing is believed to have decided to assist the inspectors after documents seized from Iranian officials included blueprints for "shaping" uranium metal into warheads, the testing of high explosives used to detonate radioactive material and the procurement of dual-use technology.

Chinese designs for centrifuges that refine uranium into a "weaponised" state have been found in Iran but these are thought to have come through a network controlled by the disgraced Pakistani scientist AQ Khan. More...

Pakistan - Missiles & Chaos

Pakistan testing another missile with nuclear capabilities will be sure to make the country of India happy.

Pakistan has just successfully tested a short range missile, Ghazanvi missile, with nuclear capabilities. A few weeks ago I posted on Pakistan's successful testing of a medium range missile, the Shaheen-1, that can carry multiple nuclear warheads.

From IHT --

Pakistan's military said Wednesday it has successfully test-fired a short-range missile capable of carrying a nuclear device.

The army's Strategic Missile Group launched the Ghazanvi missile, which has a range of 290 kilometers (180 miles), from an undisclosed location, a military statement said.

Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro, top army officials and scientists witnessed the test, it said.

Soomro said Wednesday that Pakistan seeks peace in the region, but "peace comes from strength" and "weakness invites aggression." More....

I would bet 10 to 1 this latest test will be sure to have Ohio Sen. George "The Great Horned One" RINOvich, once again caterwauling, for congress to pass the completely mind boggling 123 Agreement between the U.S. & India. The 123 Agreement basically says the U.S. will fund & support nuclear technology in India for the next 40 years! (Click here for text of 123 Agreement)

Because of the instability in the area we need to be working to decrease the amount of nuclear capable ordinance in this region - not adding fuel to the fire by pushing an agreement that is sure to turn the arms race with Pakistan & India into a NASCAR event!

Every countries greatest fear is terrorist's getting their little jihadakaze hands on nukes. If they do - you can just about guarantee the link will be through Pakistan.

There are still undeniable consistencies in the allegations that Baitullah Mehsud, a ruthless tribal warlord from South Waziristan in northern Pakistan, had former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto killed to protect the rogue Islamic nuke nut - Dr. Abdul Qadeer Kahn, aka "Father of the Pakistani Bomb."

Recent events in Pakistan should raise more than a few eyebrows. The power struggle between Musharraff and the Pakistani Army continues, Mehsud with his Al-Qaeda linked groups are turning northwest Pakistan into a bigger safe-haven for terrorists, two technicians for Pakistan's Atomic Agency and Pakistan's ambassador to Afghanistan were kidnapped....

The new army chief of Pakistan has ordered the withdrawal of military officers from the government's civil departments, officials said Tuesday, an action that reverses an important policy of his predecessor, President Pervez Musharraf.

The order by the army chief, Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, was the boldest step he has taken to disentangle the military from the civilian sphere of the government since President Musharraf stepped down as military chief in November and Kayani replaced him.

The news came as the country faced further deterioration of law and order in the northwestern tribal areas straddling the border with Afghanistan, a refuge for Taliban and Al Qaeda Islamic militants and their allies. Two technicians working for Pakistan's atomic agency were reported to have been kidnapped Tuesday in the northwest, and the police said there was no word on the fate of Pakistan's ambassador to Afghanistan, Tariq Azizuddin, who was reported missing on Monday after he tried to drive through the Khyber Pass en route to Afghanistan. More...

Any suckers want to take me up on the bet that Pakistan is where terrorist's first get possession of nukes?

Start of another Cold War?

This sounds like the beginning of the second phase of the Cold War between the U.S. and Russia. Putin is threatening to target the Ukraine with nukes if they move forward with allowing the U.S. to install an anti-missile defense system and if they continue to with their bid to join NATO....

From The Independent --

Russia has threatened to target the Ukraine with nuclear warheads if the former Soviet republic joins Nato and accepts the deployment of United States anti-missile defences on its territory.

President Vladimir Putin of Russia warned Viktor Yushchenko, Ukraine's leader, of "retaliatory actions'' should his country join the Western alliance.

"It's frightening not just to talk about this, but even to think about, that in response to such deployment, the possibility of such deployments -- and one can't theoretically exclude these deployments -- that Russia will have to point its warheads at Ukrainian territory,'' he said during a joint press conference in Moscow. The Russian and Ukrainian leaders had just held emergency talks in the Kremlin to avert a energy supply crisis over Kiev's gas bill -- a similar dispute two years ago led to power cuts across Europe. More....

Putin is concerned that if the U.S. anti-missile defense system is installed in Poland, Czech Republic and elsewhere in Europe it will diminish the effectiveness and capabilities of Russia's missile and nuclear arsenal.

What Putin does not realize is - with the probability that terrorists will soon be in possession of some sort of nuclear weapon and an unstable Iran - the U.S. anti-missile defense system may very well save his vodka drinking ass one day!

Pakistan Tests Nuclear Capable Missile

Dismissing it as routine, but sure to worry India, Pakistan has conducted another test of the Shaheen-1 medium range ballistic missile. The Shaheen-1 is capable of carrying multiple nuclear warheads.

From BBC --

Pakistan's military says it has successfully fired a medium-range ballistic missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

The Shaheen-1 (Hatf IV) has a range of 700km (440 miles). It was launched at the end of a training session.

Pakistan and its neighbour India - both nuclear powers - routinely carry out missile tests.

President Pervez Musharraf has dismissed fears that his country's nuclear weapons could be acquired by Islamist militants.

India must be just overcome with joy that their nuclear nemisis is testing nuclear capable missiles. We can be sure this will get Sen. George RINOvich (The Great Horned One) renewing his calls for the sweetheart "123 Agreement" he is pushing for India and the U.S.

The "123 Agreement" guarantees that the US will fund and promote India's nuke program for the next 40 years - even if India breaks the terms of the agreement. (Click to read "123 Agreement)

While RINOvich pushes for what is sure to turn the arms race with Pakistan & India into a NASCAR event - some responsible people are concerned about Pakistans nuke's falling into the hands of terrorists.

The confirmed ties of terrorists assasinating former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto to protect the rogue Islamic nuke nut - Dr. Abdul Qadeer Kahn, aka "Father of the Pakistani Bomb," only reaffirms these concerns.

Current Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, who is visiting the UK for tea with Prime Minister Gordon Brown, spouted as long as we help keep him in power to fight terrorism - we have nothing to be concerned about --

"We are in the forefront fighting terrorism and extremism, our success is critical. We have to win because if we lose I think it will have an impact on the region and the world, maybe in the streets of Europe.

Pakistan has a number of nuclear-capable missiles"So therefore we have to be together and we have to reinforce each other, encourage each other, support each other, instead of criticising and insinuating," he said.

He denied that Pakistan was involved in any "double-crossing", insisting: "We are not doing this for anyone, we are doing this for ourselves, for Pakistan. And I believe that."

The president said that the only way for militants to gain access to Pakistan's nuclear arsenal would be if al-Qaeda or the Taleban overthrew the army or if extremist religious groups won next month's elections. More....

Russia sends Iran MORE Nuclear Fuel

Can people really be that naive to believe the recent dummied up - "Iran has been good boys" nuke report?

Iran Focus --
Russia delivered a fifth consignment of fuel for Iran's first nuclear power plant in the Gulf port of Bushehr on Tuesday, Iran's official IRNA news agency reported.

"The fifth load of nuclear fuel arrived at the Bushehr plant on Tuesday morning," said a statement from the Organisation for Production and Development of Nuclear Energy quoted by the news agency.

The delivery brings the nuclear fuel supplied by Russia so far to 55 tons or two-thirds of the total order of 82 tons, IRNA said. More....

Man Arrested for Smuggling Nuclear Material into Iran

But I thought they stopped playing with nukes!

From Space War --
A man with dual German-Iranian citizenship has been arrested in Berlin on suspicion of smuggling nuclear material to Iran, Germany's federal prosecutor said on Wednesday.

The 52-year-old businessman is believed to have tried to send a consignment to a company linked to Iran's disputed nuclear programme, the office of prosecutor Monika Harms said. More...

Radioactive Material Bound For Iran Siezed

Hmm..... I thought Iran stopped their nuke program and doesn't support terrorist groups?

From Radio Free Europe --

On January 9, Kyrgyz officials announced that they had taken possession of a small load of a radioactive substance discovered aboard a train bound for Iran. The material has been placed in a special area in Kyrgyzstan, but questions are being raised about the nature and quantity of the substance, who was behind its transport, and how the train carrying it crossed three border checkpoints before being detected. More.....

The article notes the radioactive material in route to the terrorist loving country of Iran - could also be used in a crude radioactive explosive device -- a "dirty bomb" --

North Korea - Now What?

The North Koreans have missed the December 31, 2007 deadline they set for releasing all the information on their nuke program. Now in true N. Korean fashion instead of being conciliatory and continuing to be cooperative, they became combative again....

From the Daily Telegraph --
NORTH Korea said today it would boost its war deterrent, a day after the United States said it was sending its nuclear envoy back to Asia to discuss a disarmament deal on which Pyongyang has missed a deadline.

North Korea failed to fully account for its nuclear weapons program or answer US suspicions that it has secretly tried to enrich uranium. It was supposed to have made the declaration by the end of 2007.

"(We) will further strengthen our war deterrent capabilities in response to US attempts to initiate nuclear war," the prickly state's communist party newspaper Rodong Sinmun said in a commentary.
The little schizoid Kim Jong Il once again thumbs his nose at the international community. The games we play with him are to an extent necessary. One must realize with him it is more head games and wanting to project the appearance of being important and in control.

N. Korea is NOT a country we should want to get in a war with! The American public is barely able to stomach the deaths in Iraq. A war with N. Korea would dwarf those numbers in half, if not a quarter of the time, if we were fighting them. But we should not allow ourselves to be scared when dealing with them.

One needs to recognize that most of this is rhetoric and posturing by Kimmy boy. We must understand he is not dealing in good faith and like a child will push the limit to see what he can get. I am confident with the way the President Bush is proceeding. His wearing of two hats - labeling them an axis of evil and refusing to talk with them, then subsequently sending a personal letter to Kim Jong Il, while maybe confusing and seem unorthodox to some people, this is EXACTLY the way we need to proceed.

A recent find of enriched uranium on N. Korean centrifuge tubes, North Korea stating they are still fighting the Korean War and the declaration that they are going to "boost its war deterrent," should be considered more alarming than missing the deadline. The report detailing their nuke capabilities will come it is only a matter of time. As for accuracy and transparency.... well this is North Korea. With the understanding that the report will give us more than info on their nuke program than we have now, we should only expect the report to have some inaccuracies and not be completely transparent.

The other day the USA Today ran opinion pieces with opposing views. The USA Today written opinion was watered down version of continued diplomacy, as one could expect, but they did have some valid points. The opposing view was more confrontational and much less receptive of continued diplomacy, but it also had some valid points.

In conclusion, a path somewhere between both these opinions is the way we need to proceed in dealing with this unstable leader. Not placing a value on human life, this is a game for Kim Jong Il. While we are forced to play this game with him we must keep him rolling the dice - we just have to make sure we give him to many "Get Out of Jail Free" cards.

North Korea - It's Cryin' & Lyin' Time Again

In the recent past we have been reading how the nuke nuts in North Korea want to be good and disclose all their nuclear weapons technology. The N. Koreans were to release a report on Dec. 31, 2007 detailing any and all nuclear technology and/or programs.

Being optimistic, the free world was thrilled spitless. Even to the point that when enriched uranium was recently found in centrifuge tubes of N. Korea's everyone down played the find as possibly a mistake.

Well it was a mistake! It was a mistake to AGAIN trust or believe anything these N. Korean Nuke Nuts tell us. But some are still making excuses for them.....

Tom Casey, US state dept spokesman"This can't be a situation where they pretend to give us a full declaration and we pretend to believe them. This has to be full and complete and that's why, I think, this is taking extra time."

Like the story has gone so many times, they are trying to turn the tables. Again ignoring a promised deadline, N. Korea issued a New Year's Day statement railing against the U.S. and believe they are still fighting the Korean War, but nothing about their nukes....

From Al-Jazeera --

In North Korea's message, carried as an editorial across state media on Tuesday, it called for an end to "the US policy hostile towards the DPRK", or the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the formal name for North Korea.

But it added the North was ready to develop "relations of friendship and cooperation with all the countries that are friendly toward it".

It also called for the armistice signed at the close of the 1950-53 Korean War to be replaced by a peace treaty. The absence of a formal treaty means the Korean peninsula is still technically at war.

It its message the North said it would "make earnest efforts for stability on the Korean peninsula and peace in the world" and called for the abolition of US military bases in the South.
