Steaming Load Award: Kraut peace pukes give U.S. Army deserter their annual peace prize

From Politically Incorrect Gazette --

Steaming Load #1: Kraut peace pukes give U.S. Army deserter their annual peace prize.

This turd’s name is Andre Shepard, a deserter who is seeking asylum in the Fatherland, after giving his nation, and his fellow warriors, the finger, over his opposition to the war in Iraq.
Shepherd walked off his base in southern Germany in spring 2007 and spent 19 months on the run before applying for asylum in November last year. He is the first Army deserter to seek asylum in Germany. Before then, he had completed a five-month stint in Iraq between September 2004 and February 2005 in which he serviced Apache helicopters as part of the 412th Aviation Support Battalion. (AFP)
As stinky as this bastard is, there’s an even bigger turd floating in the bowl with him. It’s the Munich American Peace Committee which is set to give Andre its annual prize for being the biggest peace puke rat bastard of the year:
The Munich American Peace Committee said it was awarding the prize to Shepherd for his "courage and conviction in despite of the possibly extreme punishment from the US authorities" and "for publicising your convictions to give other soldiers the courage also to leave the army and to push for peace." (AFP)
If the Krauts what this deserter, they can keep him. Yes, we’d love to see him rotting his life away in a military prison, or, better still, serving as the guest of dishonor at a firing squad, but there are problems with that lovely scenario. In this Obamunist Error, Barry the Boy Blunder would probably try to make Andre Shepard his new Commerce Secretary. Flushing him down the Kraut crapper sounds a lot more civilized.

The guy just doesn't get it!

Obama just continues making it hard to support him. Again he proves that he just doesn't get it....
President Barack Obama said Sunday that the peaceful elections in Iraq are "good news" for U.S. troops and their families, and he agreed with the suggestion that a substantial number of those troops could be home within a year.

"I think that you have a sense now that the Iraqis just had a very significant election with no significant violence that we are in a position to start putting more responsibility on the Iraqis and that's good news not only for the troops on the ground but for the families who are carrying an enormous burden," Obama said in an interview with NBC's Matt Lauer before the Super Bowl. Lauer asked Obama if he could assure the troops "that a substantial number of them will be home" a year from now.

Obama said: "Yes."

Good news? Yes, but not time to come home.

I guess he already forgot what, as Obama puts it, the Generals on the ground told him. Obama was told do NOT remove too many troops and that our presence will be needed longer than his promised 16 months.

The reason the election went fairly smooth was because of our presence there. The election is a sign that "The Surge" worked. Now Obama needs to just sit there and smile, gives us an, "uhm," an "ahh," and a "hmm" every now and then and let his Generals on the ground continue their good work by letting our soldiers complete their mission.

Celebrate Victory in Iraq Day on 11/22/08

H/T Hambo at PIG

I cannot think of a better way of saluting our troops and showing our thanks for their hard fought successes in Iraq than by joining the guys at Zombie Time in an online victory celebration declaring - November 22, 2008 as Victory in Iraq Day!

We cannot afford another black eye like the one the long hairs gave our country by spitting on and committing other despicable acts against our returning Vietnam soldiers. Our troops have already endured enough abuse - not only from the terrorist's abroad - but from their own country members.

Even though the left does not like it - winning a war is not a bad thing & we have WON! Our soldiers valiant and victorious efforts need to be recognized!

If you want to participate - click here for more info.

U.S. & Iraq sign Troop Withdrawal Agreement

The date the terrorists have been waiting for has been set! Their lucky day comes on December 31, 2011. By this day ALL of our remaining 150,000 troops will be out of Iraq.

From Reuters --
Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshiyar Zebari and U.S. ambassador Ryan Crocker signed a long-awaited accord on Monday requiring Washington to withdraw its forces within three years. More...

What transpires will be interesting.... The Iraqi Parliament is expected to pass the accord. While the violence in Iraq has decreased and the SURGE many were against obviously worked - setting a date in stone is a big mistake.

With this agreement and signing of this accord we bowed to the pressure of local terrorist Muqtada al-Sadr. Who by the way, should have been the target of a sniper rifle a very long time ago!

"I repeat my demand that the occupier leave the land of our beloved Iraq unconditionally, without retaining bases or signing agreements," al-Sadr said in a statement released by his office in the Shi'ite holy city of Najaf. "If they remain, I will support the resistance ... as long as their weapons are directed exclusively against the occupier." (See pictures of Iraq's revival.)

The terrorist nation of Syria, feeling that only an immediate withdrawal is satisfactory, is stating that with the signing of the accord - the U.S. should apologize to Iraq...

Syria's information minister, Mohsen Bilal, told the AP on Monday that rather than rewarding the U.S. occupiers with the pact, Iraqis should get an apology from Washington for the damage done to their country.

Maybe Obama can send them milk & cookies when he is president and they will all of a sudden love us!

Steaming Load Award #2: Some motherless rat bastards are playing a cruel hoax on the families of deployed soldiers

From Politically Incorrect Gazette --

Steaming Load Award #2: Some motherless rat bastards are playing a cruel hoax on the families of deployed soldiers.

When the two scumbags showed up at the door of a Fort Campbell (Kentucky) woman on October 30th, they looked like the real deal. One wore a Class A "dress green" uniform and the other had on civilian Cross Cult padre attire. It was, the family member knew, the worst possible news anyone with a deployed warrior could hear.

We might never know what the pair had in mind, because the woman, quite rightly, didn’t allow them into her home. Instead, she tried to verify the information she’d just been given:

‘...[She] contacted the Family Readiness Support Assistant and Rear Detachment Commander to confirm the information. The command let her know her spouse is still alive and worked to put him in contact with her as soon as possible. Military police were notified and a police report was taken at the scene.

Before Soldiers deploy, they and their families are offered a series of briefings to prepare for the separation. One of those briefings is about the casualty notification process. When a Soldier dies, a notification officer and military chaplain, both in Class A uniform, not civilian clergy attire, are sent to notify the next of kin in person. Family members can confirm the information with the Soldier's unit. Typically, the notification team will not leave the family member's home until a friend, another family member or arrives to assist...’ (Clarksville.com, via the Black 5 blog)

This isn’t the first such incident in the area, but it is the first time one has transpired on the base. Having a family member deployed is hard enough, without this. It’s the most loathsome bullshit we’ve heard in a long time. I hope they track down these turds, then lock them in a room with some of our warriors, who can be trusted to teach these rat bastards the errors of their ways.

Meeting with the Taliban

Increasing our efforts in Afghanistan military leaders want to begin small-scale talks with Taliban fighters in the hopes of causing dissention. The tactic of reaching out to low-level fighters was part of the successful strategy utilized during the "surge" in Iraq.

This was the same surge that was supported by Senator McCain & opposed by Barack Obama.

From Yahoo News --
The United States is considering taking part in talks with elements of the Taliban in a sharp change in tactics in Afghanistan, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday citing unnamed officials.

"Senior White House and military officials believe that engaging some levels of the Taliban -- while excluding top leaders -- could help reverse a pronounced downward spiral in Afghanistan and neighboring Pakistan," the paper said on its website.

The report said the new approach was contained in a draft recommendation in a classified White House assessment of US strategy in Afghanistan. Talks would be led by the Afghan government, "but with the active participation of the US," it said.

The final White House recommendation is expected next month after the US presidential elections, the report said. More...

With the final recommendation coming after the presidential election we can only hope Senator McCain is elected! McCain is seasoned and battle tested in handling the fragile intricacies such as this. Senator McCain will allow his military commanders the freedom to use their best judgment when crafting plans for defeating the Taliban and any other terrorist elements.

On the other hand - if Barack is elected, he will immediately handcuff our military leaders, will stifle their success and make this about himself. Barack, through his own words, would have no problem going to meet with Taliban "leaders" - thus giving their movement more credibility making them harder to defeat!

U.S. Special Forces attack Al-Qaeda Camp in Syria

Well it is about damn time! U.S. Special Forces, backed by helicopters, attacked known Al-Qaeda terrorists just over the border in Syria.

From Yahoo News --
U.S. military helicopters launched an extremely rare attack Sunday on Syrian territory close to the border with Iraq, killing eight people in a strike the government in Damascus condemned as "serious aggression."

A U.S. military official said the raid by special forces targeted the network of al-Qaida-linked foreign fighters moving through Syria into Iraq. The Americans have been unable to shut the network down in the area struck because Syria was out of the military's reach.

"We are taking matters into our own hands," the official told The Associated Press in Washington, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the political sensitivity of cross-border raids. More...

Muqtada al-Sadr stokes thousands against US-Iraqi Pact

The agreement to extend the U.S. presence in Iraq past the Dec. 31st UN deadline is in danger of not being passed by the Iraqi parliament. In the agreement U.S. troops must leave Iraqi cities by the end of June and be gone by 2012.

The Kurdish bloc has accepted the agreement, fearing for their lives the Sunni Bloc is weary of publicly accepting the agreement, but the Iranian supported Shiite bloc is whipping up anti-U.S. sentiment. I will give you one guess who is stoking the Shiite flames of passion - Muqtada al-Sadr.

From Yahoo News --

"I am with every Sunni, Shiite or Christian who is opposed to the agreement ... and I reject, condemn and renounce the presence of occupying forces and bases on our beloved land," al-Sadr said in a message read to the crowd by a senior aide.

"I am confident that you brothers in parliament will champion the will of the people over that of the occupier ... Do not betray the people," al-Sadr said in his message, as the crowd chanted "Occupier, get out," and "No, no to America. No, no to the agreement." More...

Notice how Sadr is only now speaking against U.S. forces as we are looking to decrease troop sizes in Iraq and turn our efforts to terrorists in Pakistan & Afghanistan. When pressure was exerted on him by US forces and Al-Maliki, also a Shiite, Sadr behaved like a good little boy.

Even when they were silent - Sadr and his followers have been a constant threat to peace and security in the region. And let's not forget the cause of many of our soldiers being killed or injured.

Sadr should have been taken care of a long time ago - it would only take one well placed bullet from our highly trained snipers. It would have saved countless lives and sent a message to anyone thinking about replacing him as head Shiite jihadikaze!

Murtha Sued by Marine over Hadithah remarks

Just like a true Marine - never giving up!

Former Marine Justin Sharratt is suing democrap Rep John Murtha of PA for continually calling him a murderer. Sharratt was initially charged with 3 counts of premeditated murder after 24 Iraqi's were killed during a gun battle with insurgents in Hadithah.

After a full military investigation - Sharratt was EXONERATED! Even after the investigation verified Sharratt's claim that he only killed insurgents - Murtha has still not apologized.

From Marine Corps Times --
A former Marine lance corporal sued Rep. John Murtha for slander Thursday, saying the Pennsylvania Democrat damaged his reputation by saying Marines killed women and children “in cold blood” in Hadithah, Iraq, in November 2005.

“Sharratt, in being labeled repeatedly by Murtha as a ‘cold-blooded murderer,’ and by Murtha outrageously claiming that the Hadithah incident was comparable to the infamous (My Lai) massacre of Vietnam, has suffered permanent, irreversible damage to his reputation,” the lawsuit states. American service members killed as many as 504 Vietnamese villagers in the My Lai massacre.

Sharratt, 24, was initially charged with three counts of premeditated murder but was exonerated after a full investigation and the military equivalent of a preliminary hearing. Sharratt said it was proved he killed insurgents, not civilians. More...

General Petraeus Leaving Iraq

Good Job General!

From Breitbart --
David Petraeus, the American general who presided over Iraq's pullback from the brink of all-out civil war, relinquished his command Tuesday to Gen. Ray Odierno under a cascade of official thank-yous.

Petraeus' next assignment will be as commander of U.S. Central Command, with broader responsibilities. From his headquarters in Tampa, Fla., he will oversee U.S. military involvement across the Middle East, including Iraq, as well as Afghanistan, Pakistan and other Central Asian nations. He takes up that post in late October. More...

Is Obama using our U.S. Soldiers for bargaining chips in his campaign?

Would Obama stoop to an unheard of level in campaigning? Would he use our U.S. soldiers as a bargaining tool for his presidential aspirations?

Maybe he would - maybe he wouldn't. But he is now disputing claims from the Iraqi Foreign Minister that he tried doing just that on his recent campaign visit to Iraq.

Once again - Obama or his camp must "explain" what he meant...

From The New York Post --
According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion."

"However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open." Zebari says. More...
It appears having to explain what he says or what he means is becoming a regular routine for Obama and his campaign.

Each side, the democrats and the Republicans, will have their point of view or spin on this issue. But there are several facts that are clear... Obama was in Iraq, Obama did meet with the Iraqi Foreign Minister and Obama is now, weeks later, having to explain or give his version of what he meant or said.

Whether he tried delaying an agreement for withdrawal or not - the Iraqi Foriegn Minister believed he was. That is all that counts! He spoke with a high ranking official from another country - the official thinks Obama said or meant one thing, Obama claims he didn't or didn't mean it like that.

As I have posted before, we as a country, cannot afford having the President of the United States dealing with countries and have the parties leaving thinking two different things. We all know that for many - perception turns into reality. Just imagine a scenario with Russia or China.

The New York Post also reports that Obama tried persuading Gen. Petraeus into giving him a "reallistic withdrawal date." Petraeus, knowing if he gives any type of time frame it will be used as campaign fodder one way or the other for Obama, shows why he is a General and refuses in committing to a date.

Bush was right about "The Surge"

Bob Frantz of The Big One - WTAM 1100, posted a great article on his message board that was printed in the fishwrap - NYT - written by David Brooks.

Frantz hits it on the head about the article when he states -

"Get used to that statement. Because it will be reprinted in textbooks in the year 2050, and for generations to come. The following, from the ultra-liberal NY Times, no less, on our President's courageous decision to carry on toward victory, abandoning calls for defeat, when things were their darkest in Iraq."

The Bush Paradox

By DAVID BROOKS
Published: June 24, 2008

Let’s go back and consider how the world looked in the winter of 2006-2007. Iraq was in free fall, with horrific massacres and ethnic cleansing that sent a steady stream of bad news across the world media. The American public delivered a stunning electoral judgment against the Iraq war, the Republican Party and President Bush.

All Conversations » Expert and elite opinion swung behind the Baker-Hamilton report, which called for handing more of the problems off to the Iraqi military and wooing Iran and Syria. Republicans on Capitol Hill were quietly contemptuous of the president while Democrats were loudly so.

Democratic leaders like Senator Harry Reid considered the war lost. Barack Obama called for a U.S. withdrawal starting in the spring of 2007, while Senator Reid offered legislation calling for a complete U.S. pullback by March 2008.

The arguments floating around the op-ed pages and seminar rooms were overwhelmingly against the idea of a surge — a mere 20,000 additional troops would not make a difference. The U.S. presence provoked violence, rather than diminishing it. The more the U.S. did, the less the Iraqis would step up to do. Iraq was in the middle of a civil war, and it was insanity to put American troops in the middle of it.

When President Bush consulted his own generals, the story was much the same. Almost every top general, including Abizaid, Schoomaker and Casey, was against the surge. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was against it, according to recent reports. Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki called for a smaller U.S. presence, not a bigger one.

In these circumstances, it’s amazing that George Bush decided on the surge. And looking back, one thing is clear: Every personal trait that led Bush to make a hash of the first years of the war led him to make a successful decision when it came to this crucial call.

Bush is a stubborn man. Well, without that stubbornness, that unwillingness to accept defeat on his watch, he never would have bucked the opposition to the surge.

Bush is an outrageously self-confident man. Well, without that self-confidence he never would have overruled his generals.

In fact, when it comes to Iraq, Bush was at his worst when he was humbly deferring to the generals and at his best when he was arrogantly overruling them. During that period in 2006 and 2007, Bush stiffed the brass and sided with a band of dissidents: military officers like David Petraeus and Raymond Odierno, senators like John McCain and Lindsey Graham, and outside strategists like Fred Kagan of the American Enterprise Institute and Jack Keane, a retired general.

Bush is also a secretive man who listens too much to Dick Cheney. Well, the uncomfortable fact is that Cheney played an essential role in promoting the surge. Many of the people who are dubbed bad guys actually got this one right.

The additional fact is that Bush, who made such bad calls early in the war, made a courageous and astute decision in 2006. More than a year on, the surge has produced large, if tenuous, gains. Violence is down sharply. Daily life has improved. Iraqi security forces have been given time to become a more effective fighting force. The Iraqi government is showing signs of strength and even glimmers of impartiality. Iraq has moved from being a failed state to, as Vali Nasr of the Council on Foreign Relations has put it, merely a fragile one.

The whole episode is a reminder that history is a complicated thing. The traits that lead to disaster in certain circumstances are the very ones that come in handy in others. The people who seem so smart at some moments seem incredibly foolish in others.

The cocksure war supporters learned this humbling lesson during the dark days of 2006. And now the cocksure surge opponents, drunk on their own vindication, will get to enjoy their season of humility. They have already gone through the stages of intellectual denial. First, they simply disbelieved that the surge and the Petraeus strategy was doing any good. Then they accused people who noticed progress in Iraq of duplicity and derangement. Then they acknowledged military, but not political, progress. Lately they have skipped over to the argument that Iraq is progressing so well that the U.S. forces can quickly come home.

But before long, the more honest among the surge opponents will concede that Bush, that supposed dolt, actually got one right. Some brave souls might even concede that if the U.S. had withdrawn in the depths of the chaos, the world would be in worse shape today.

Life is complicated. The reason we have democracy is that no one side is right all the time. The only people who are dangerous are those who can’t admit, even to themselves, that obvious fact.
Go visit the message board... you will love some of the comments left by the left. Trust me - they are NOT thrilled spitless about Bush being right about the surge!

President Bush Embarrasses U.S.

A sniper uses a koran for target practice - the Iraqi's cry and President Panty Waist apologizes and makes our Generals do the same thing? You have got to be kidding me! Is this war or dodge ball?

And he wants to talk about appeasement? Is he taking advice from Obama? How about wiping your nose off Mrs. President!

From Yahoo --
Bush's spokeswoman said Tuesday that the president apologized during a videoconference Monday with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, who told the president that the shooting of Islam's holy book had disappointed and angered both the Iraqi people and their leaders.

The U.S. military said Sunday that it had disciplined the sniper and removed him from Iraq after he was found to have used Islam's holy book for target practice May 9 in a predominantly Sunni area west of Baghdad. The book was found two days later by Iraqis on a firing range in Radwaniyah with 14 bullet holes in it and graffiti written on its pages, tribal leaders said.

Similar perceived insults against Islam in Europe and elsewhere have sparked violent protests, and American officials appeared eager to contain the outrage.

It is outrageous that anybody apologized for this. I even understand one General kissed the Koran. Heh - could you imagine the response had Patton or MacArthur were told to kiss the koran because a soldier shot it up? Anybody want to bet the Iraq's would have been told to kiss their a**!

The soldier should have shot an "S" in the cover of the koran... they could have then dropped it on Sadr's front porch!

Terrorist Spy Earns Praise & No Jail from Judge

There are two reasons it is amazes me that some people can forget 9/11. The first being huge airplanes slamming into the World Trade Center buildings, the other is - it is my birthday.

But never fear - memory & rationale sentences are short when liberal judges are on the bench.

In a complete miscarriage of justice that ridicules the threat our nation faces, U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn handed down a fine of $750 fine with no jail time for a Hezbollah spy working in the CIA & FBI.

From Front Page --
Nada Nadim Prouty is a Lebanese national who has been employed by both the FBI and the CIA. She has admitted that she searched FBI files for information on investigations connected to the jihad terrorist group Hizballah – although, according to her plea agreement, she “was not assigned to work on Hezbollah cases as part of her F.B.I. duties and she was not authorized by her supervisor, the case agent
assigned to the case, or anybody else to access information about the investigation in question.”

For that, U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn on Tuesday gave her a $750 fine – and no jail time at all.

Cases Prouty sought information about included those of two accused Hizballah operatives in the U.S. – namely, her sister and brother-in-law. Her brother-in-law, Talal Chahine, is the owner of La Shish, a restaurant chain in the Detroit area. Chahine has fled the country to escape indictment for evading taxes and sending the restaurant money to Hizballah (to the tune of $20 million). While searching for information on Chahine, Prouty also took the time to search the files to see what information the Feds had on herself – an exercise intriguing in its implications. At the time of her guilty plea, some agents declared their suspicion that Prouty was actually a Hizballah mole.

There is no doubt, meanwhile, that she is an illegal immigrant: she has also admitted to paying an American citizen to entering into a sham marriage with her so that she could obtain U.S. citizenship. She is currently married to a longtime State Department official who has held important positions in the Egyptian and Pakistani embassies. And while working for the CIA, Prouty had access to key Al-Qaeda detainees in Iraq. More...

Outraged? Well hold your onto your family jewels - it gets better! This Jimmy Carter appointed "Joker of Jurisprudence" actually praised Prouty, an admitted terrorist spy, for her service in Iraq!

Cohn said Prouty, who lives in suburban Washington, served the United States with distinction in Iraq and elsewhere, at times placing herself in peril on behalf of her adopted country.

In Ohio the No Seat Belt law earns you a free movie showing with a fine, lighting up a cigarette in North Royalton can get you a $10 fine and the average speeding ticket is probably over $100. In fact an Ohio man was recently given jail time because his daughter failed to get her GED.

How nice - your daughter fails to get her GED Jail and you go to jail, yet be an illegal immigrant spy that helps IED loving jihadikaze's kill innocent people earns you praise.

Only in Amerika!

Al-Qaeda in Iraq Leader Captured

The leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq was captured...

From Al Jazeera -- (links added)

Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, has been arrested in Iraq, according to the country's defence ministry.

The arrest occurred in the northern city of Mosul and was reported on al-Arabiya TV and Iraqi state television late on Thursday.

Al-Muhajir, also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, was detained in a joint Iraqi-US operation.

He was caught in the Tayran area in central Mosul, 360km northwest of Baghdad, reportedly after police received a tip off of his location.

Why in the hell would they broadcast they caught the #1 jihadikaze in Iraq? They should have kept the whole thing secret and just continued on with the good job they are doing.
You watch the demosissy's will be screaming our troops should start coming home tomorrow... game over - we got your flag!
Now that the top geitenneuker has been caught - let these guys finish their jobs! Oh yeah and start bombing the hell 0ut of Iran!

Bolton says Bomb Iran

Will we do the right thing or will we allow our soldiers to once again be targets of enemies being trained outside the theater of combat?

From The National Terror Alert --

John Bolton, America’s ex-ambassador to the United Nations, has called for US air strikes on Iranian camps where insurgents are trained for war in Iraq.

Mr Bolton said that striking Iran would represent a major step towards victory in Iraq. While he acknowledged that the risk of a hostile Iranian response harming American’s overseas interests existed, he said the damage inflicted by Tehran would be “far higher” if Washington took no action.

“This is a case where the use of military force against a training camp to show the Iranians we’re not going to tolerate this is really the most prudent thing to do,” he said. “Then the ball would be in Iran’s court to draw the appropriate lesson to stop harming our troops.” More...

War Protester Attacks Wheelchair Bound Teenager

Laura & Jenna Bush were out promoting their children's book - "Read All About It," when a scumbag war protester began making an a** out of himself by screaming & swearing at them about Iraq & Iran.

Bringing his cerebral palsy inflicted daughter to see her hero Laura Bush, John Lovetro, asked the man to be quiet as this was an event for the children. That's when this 'nadless nutbag began hitting Lovetro's wheelchair bound daughter.

From the New York Post --

I told the guy, 'What are you doing? Shut up. This is about a child and books,' " said John Lovetro. "He was unperturbed. I said, 'Get out of here! You're being a moron!' "

The next thing he knew, Talis was allegedly punching Maureen - a fan of the first lady since meeting her in 2004.

"I heard my daughter hysterical yelling, 'He's hitting me!' " said Wendy Lovetro.

"He punched her on the shoulder blades, but that wasn't enough," she said.

"My husband pushed the wheelchair away from him and he reached beyond my husband and began pounding my daughter in the thigh." More...

Lovetro pummeled the moron until police arrived to arrest him.

Sadr Threatens War

Until recently Muqtada al-Sadr & his al-Mahdi Army have been fairly quiet and the renewal of his 6 month cease fire has greatly contributed to the decline in violence - until now.

In response to an Iraqi crack down on his militia in Basra & Sadr City, Sadr has issued Iraq & the United States an ultimatum - stop arresting his followers or he will declare war.

From Al-Jazeera --
.... al-Sadr said in a statement on Saturday that he was giving a final warning to the Shia-led Iraqi government "to take the path of peace and stop violence against its own people".

"If it does not stop the militias that have infiltrated the government, then we will declare a war until liberation," he said.

Sheikh Salah al-Obaidi, a spokesman for al-Sadr, told Al Jazeera that this is the last opportunity of the Iraqi government to make an effort to co-operate with the group.

He said: "We [the Sadrist movement] have tried and tried to improve the political situation in the country. "But our calls were never heeded. This is the government's last chance to correct the current situation."

Making matters worse is the month long campaign, "Attack of Righteousness," planned by Sunni-led Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Celebrating the death of 4000 American soldiers in Iraq, the group will "offer the head of an American" as a gift to George Bush.

Al-Zawahiri releases new tape

The #2 man of Al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri, has issued a new audiotape again predicting U.S. failure in Iraq. This is the same towel headed Islamikaze that predicted the U.S. troop "surge" would fail.

From Al-Jazeera --

Al-Zawahri, considered to be the network's chief strategist, said that building Iraq as a "fortress of Islam" is the "most important duty" for Muslims.

Marking the fifth anniversary of the US invasion of Iraq, al-Zawahiri said that the administration of George Bush, the US president, is passing on a "problem" to the president's successor by guaranteeing that a heavy foreign military presence stays in
Iraq for the rest of Bush's term.

"The truth is that if Bush keeps all his forces in Iraq until doomsday and until they enter hell, they will only see crisis and defeat by the will of God", al-Zawahiri said.

In Thursday's tape, al-Zawahiri also said a fight to liberate Jerusalem would be launched from Iraq, reiterating earlier statements attributed to Osama bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda. More...

Like the Iranians when Reagan was elected, I predict many of the Al-Qaeda Islamikazes and their jihadikazes will change their tune when McCain is elected.

Should Hillahag or O'Dumbo get elected... al-Zawahiri's predictions will probably be somewhat accurate.
