"Shucks its' Me" Huckabee & Immigration

I want to give a big Huckabee Sombrero hat tip to Mark over at Pain Dealer. PD posts on the friendly GOP candidate "Shucks its' me" Huckabee and his distorted views on immigration.

Seems like Huckleberry Huckabee thinks WE ( our government) should accommodate illegal immigrants and make sure our economy has the necessary work force to give them an opportunity for a better life.

Disturbing thing was I did not see where the Huckster said anything about the Americans that would be put out of work by illegal immigrants?!? Go figure!

The following part of Pain Dealer's post is WHY I will never vote for this humble Holy Rolling hypocrite.....

Huckabee criticized an immigration bill by Republican senators Jim Holt of Springdale and Denny Altes of Fort Smith as un-Christian, un-American, irresponsible and anti-life.

Senate Bill 206, which died in the Senate, would have required proof of citizenship to register to vote and also force state agencies to report suspected cases of people living in the country illegally. Holt, R-Springdale, replied later to Huckabee's comments that Christian charity does not include turning a blind eye to lawbreaking.
While I believe our next President needs to have values based on faith, I believe this type of Holy Roller crap is just that - crap from a hypocrite! It is guys like this that I love to tell to stick the Bible up their a**!

I have a very strong belief in God, but one thing I do not like is pulling the "Religion Card," much like I do not like when the "Race Card" is pulled.

So maybe the phony preacher can answer this...

Is it not un-Christian to allow your neighbor, a fellow American, to be out out of work so someone from outside this country can have a job?

Is it not un-Christian to take food off a persons table by bringing people into this country that will undercut their wages?

Is it not un-Christian to ask for more money from Americans, already over burdened with taxes from social programs, to pay the way for these people? (Come on Hack, sorry I meant Huck, have a heart! - They just lost their minimum wage job to Manny the Mexican who is working for $4 hr!)

Using religion as an excuse to allow illegal immigrants into this country is no better than the other wack job Evanhellical's saying God is letting our troops die because we have homos in this country!

I'm thinking maybe... Huckster can the guys at PIG if they can create him an Arkansas version of the Landmine Lotto Game they have created for California. As Hambo say's.... I'm sure Huck would be thrilled spitless!

  1. king, king, king. while i disagree with huckabees position on immigration also, there is a very good chance that he will win the nomination. as i predicted in the spring of 2006 -- if the republicans don't do something about this illegal immigration problem, it will cost them the house and senate. the GOP had the whitehouse, the senate and the house and didn't do anything to stop illegal immigration when they had the chance. what are you gonna do vote for romney? he is the former governor of the only state that allows homosexual marriage. mccain? supporter of comprehensive border reform (amnesty). rudy? sanctuary city New York. the guy who had this pegged back in 96 was pat buchanan. he predicted back then that if we do not put in place a temporary moritorium on immigration, conduct an inventory of those who are currently in our country and secure our borders, there will be a terrorist attack of monumental proportions on U.S. soil within the next five years. Turns out he was very prophetic, for five years later we had the 911 attack. as a candidate in 96, the pundits and incumbent political establishment dismissed buchanan as a right wing extremeist. the sheep were in agreement and voted heavily against buchanan even though he was the best candidate. they would do the same thing to huckabee if he came out and said those types of things now. maybe you'll decide to vote for obama the muslim, edwards the socialist, or healthcare hillary if huckabee does win the nomination. you should know king -- in politics you Never say NEVER.

  2. Anon thank you for reading my blog and commenting on the post. Had the republicans done much of anything we would not be in the position we are today with this election.

To bo honest none of our candidates thrill me. Who knows I may just write myself in!

My original choice is/was Thompson. Prior to Iowa the guy became non existent and was running a terrible campaign. Further scaring me on Thompson is that the people running his campaign in OH and Cuy. Co. are a bunch of useless talking head hacks. I believe if a candidate surrounds himself with bad people during his campaign, he won't do much better when elected.

McCain looks attractive due to events in Pakistan and abroad. I have recently heard he is "re-thinking" his position on amnesty and allowing free access to illegals. If he changes - he way have my vote.

Illegal immigration (IMO) is one of the most important issues on the homefront. The trickle down effect of amnesty and open borders will kill our economy, the American worker and change our country in a negative way forever. In a way that can never be changed back.

I find your info on Buchanan very intersting. I like the guy! In 1996 I was not involved in politics and did not pay attention.

So you know - I am not a flocker (ha ha). If you read my blog you will see that I usually rail about the "sheep" in our party, especially at the county level.

As for Obama... never for me! But I will tell you what - if our candidates do not get their shit together, much to our dismay, he may very well be our next president!

Never say never? Not being a sheep, I will stand on what I believe. I value my vote too much to cast it the way others want. Right or wrong - I cannot vote for someone unless I believe in them.

    And that will NEVER change!

    Have a great day!

  3. Thanks for the big tip of the sombrero.

Funny thing is that there is probably no state in the Union complaining more about illegals than Iowa and then they go and pick Mike "sanctuary state" Huckabee.

Oh well Chuck Norris and Jesus like him and I guess that should be good enough for us.

  4. if mccain wins the nomination, i'm with him. if huckabee wins it, i'm with him. no chance of me voting for obama, edwards or hilary. i'd have to plug my nose to vote for romney but would. no problem for me to go with giuliani or thompson. in the general, it is probably mccain who has the better shot against any of the ds.

  5. I loved the debate last night. I thought McCain gave Romney the publc bitch slapping he deserved.

Old Flipabee is changing his tune on immigration though. He realy did not sound that bad last night.

I would go ape shit with joy if we put forth a McCain/Thompson ticket
