Bo$$ Hogg and the Rino's Made Me Do This

I have learned in life that things are not always what they seem. For instance, if someone is taking you out for free meal...you will end up paying more in the long run. Despite the moniker...make NO MISTAKE! I am unapologetically conservative. However, in order to navigate the waste filled waters of cuyahoga county's republican party a conservative can not always "appear" as they are if they want to get anyting done. Trust me. First off, I get a kick of the irony. Ask, King. The name and the comments make him and my friends laugh. However, the nature of what I am trying to accomplish here (i.e. with these posts on this blog and some forthcoming projects) is anything but funny. Actually, this matter is a crying , gut-wrenching, unforgivable shame.

A few years ago some people amongst us decided that they were too in love with there titles, appointments to useless committees, and invites to every party to do anything about the strangle hold that a certain political party was developing on our region. A friend summed it up well: they would rather be mayor of the card board store front town than nothing at all. These same people are just as complicit as Cuyahoga County Democrats are for making the area such an easy commute. What do I mean? If you look around your car a rush hour on 71 and 90 and there are several car lengths between you and the next guy doing 70 mph...not a lot of people are going anywhere...because THEY ARE NOT HERE! They are leaving!

It is not just the GC Young RINO that thinks this...so does the daily fish wrap! When people laugh at you for wanting to stay in the area...you can' really find a high paying job unless you move...Jimmy (who will be referred to as Boss hog from here on out)...we have a problem!

This County has taxed and chased out so many of its residences and businesses it is a shame.

This county is the albatross that should be hung around the neck of every proud Democrat in this area. You guys have sunk the area. The county and city Democrats have allowed Cuyahoga to rot from the core out. At 433, 000 and dwindling...the recipient of the country's most impoverished (poorest) city title several times in the past few years...county and city Democrats should be proud. a family member on the county payroll via a patronage appointment (more on that later) told me I should "join the winning team." Winning team? At the expense of my community losing...real nice.

Now, this guy got his job because of his political connections...at first glance that would make most of you groan. However, I recently told a long time veteran republican friend that who can blame people for feeding at Bo$$ Hogg'$ (Jimmy Dimora's...last time I will remind you) trough. Pat O'malley et al.'s patronage machine is the sign of an effective county party organization (listen up some of you who check here regularly). Now, that may not be good for the region, but it shows that a certain political party knows how to get things done.

Which brings me back to the other part of the equation. The check and balance in our political system are elections between people...usually of opposite parties...to offer an alternative to the other when they are not doing there job. Not Cuyahoga County though. Cuyahoga County Republicans keep drinking the party kool aid. "Well...you know...look at the base vote...blah blah blah...we could never expect to...blah blah blah...." I am not drinking the kool aid anymore.
I am going RINO hunting. Unfortunately many of the old geezers around the party and other space cadets were too satisfied with the title of ward leader ( with no one to lead...check how many committee men you have)...appointments to policy committees that could not make or enforce policy...and tolerating excuses instead of leadership to notice the fat guy consolidating power and control of your tax dolalrs on the fourth floor of Lake Side Avenue.

Good jobs guys! Now, we are looking for a few good men to help clean-up the mess. Let's get the RINO hunting over...and take this thin back. Just remember...some of us will have to wear camouflage to get things done at first.

YOU NEED CAMO TO HUNT

Nice to have you on board!

Couple things between the Dems & GOP in Cuyahoga County...

I have a difficult time placing blame on the dems for any patronage jobs. While they have run the city and region into the ground - I have a hard time placing blame on them for this also. They are democrats - what would you expect from them.

Over the past 10-15 years the RPCC has GIVEN the democrats a free ride. The dems did not TAKE, TRICK, ABSCOND, FORCE, or STEAL anything to take control over this area. It was GIVEN to them by a broken, and still broken, RPCC.

As I have said for a while - Chirstmas comes in November For Jimmy and the local democrats.

I place most of the blame for the condition of our area on the Plain Dealer, uninformed & ignorant voters and a broken down Republican Party that operates on just as much patronage within ranks, if not more, than the dems they are now crying about.

How do I come to these feelings - very easy...

The PD has been party too and has enabled the democrats and bloated money pigs, Jacobs, Wolstien, Carney,Greater Cleveland Assoc., etc... to hijack our area with their less than truthful, biased reporting.

Here is just one example - thier almost complete lack of truthful reporting on the MedMart, their purposely not giving the "Put it on the Ballot" crowd any coverage. Why did they not cover this part of the story the same way they promoted the MedMart - because they thought the MedMart was a good idea.

The PD is only now screaming about the patronage and the bad jobs the dems are doing because Dimora has not bought into thier bullshit reform. The PD acts as if this patronage and our decline just started last week.

As I have previously posted - since this stuff has been going on for over 15 years - can you remember the last time the PD took on the dems?

So by purposely misleading the voters with inaccuracies and biased reporting - they have been major contributors in this decline.

    RPCC --

Very simple it is broke! Most of the money men and policy makers care more about their friends and pocket books.

Most of the "Social Club" members play both sides of the fence by donating to the dems we are trying to unseat.

Can you remember the last time we ran a good smart race with a good candidate. Notice how any potentially good candidate does not run again after losing an election. They get led into the race by the nose and then sold down the river by the party. Most do not run again because they learn after being screwed once by our party.

Ah yes... the base vote! That magical 40% of votes our party considers a victory. Our party and many memebers have come to accept losing as winning.

Now the voters... uninformed and ignorant - YES!

First they are continually mislead by the PD's slanted reporting and the RPCC does not only NOT put up candidates they refuse to change theor broken campaign tactics that have not worked in how long?

The best is when they babble about increasing the minority vote in our party. I think this is a great idea. But they never reach out to the minorities - (Ebony does not count).

When is the last time we campaigned in a black area? I do not mean North Randall or Warrensville Hts either. When is the last time we went recruiting in the inner city? Have you ever been called to canvas the 131st & Kinsman area? Do you know anybody that has?

When is the last time the RPCC went out to voters outside of their cookie cutter voting blocs to get votes? Have we ever went in the black or inner city neighborhoods and explained what we stand for? NO - we allow the PD to cast us as bad republicans. So with this and a lack of viable candidates on our part- the voters keep voting democrat.

So I ask is it Jimmy's fault this gets thrown in his lap?

I find humor that the smarty pants, know-it-alls in the social club - on their best day can't beat the dems, who are run by a person with only a high school diploma - Jimmy, on thier worse.

I guess all their pedigrees and college degrees don't men nothing.

We need to be concentrating on the biggest crook of the three commissioners - Tim Hagan. Then we need to start finding good candidates to run against the party hacks we put up in our primary races.

This does not mean Jason Werner either!

  2. GC - how do you feel about the poor candidates, Luks, Sutherland & Butler, for the county races?

  3. I don't know about GC but if Sutherland were running against Hagan I would be campaigning for her. But she is not, and I am not. However she is good looking enough to have sex with so that has to be taken into consideration.

Luks I don't know anything about but didn't she oppose TEL and support a lot of Akers agenda? If so she isn't an improvement. Who is Butler?

  4. Great post GC Rino. We need this.

  5. Luks endorsed the Democrat candidate (now Judge Deanna O'Donnell) in the Parma Municipal Court race of 2007 despite the fact we had a well qualified, endorsed Republican candidate. Three months after the election she got the Republican endorsement for a County office. WOW.
Unfortunately rewarding Treasonous behavior seems to have become the RPCC way.

  6. Some would say that "treasonous behavior IS the RPCC way."

  7. Whatever the money men want. Very, Very unfortunate for the Republican Party. They out to be tarred and feathered, not given control of our party. Damned be Frost the whore and all those who follow blindly, may they follow him over the cliff.
