Trakas for 10th District

I finally agree with the PD! I guess there is always a first.

From the PD --

In eight years in the Ohio House, Jim Trakas showed an independent streak that didn't always endear him to Republican Party leaders. Although we disagreed with him on some issues, Trakas demonstrated real leadership in arguing for larger state investments in higher education and technology.

Term limits required Trakas to give up his House seat at the end of 2006. Now he is seeking the Republican nomination for the 10th Congressional District seat held by six-term incumbent Dennis Kucinich.

Trakas is by far the better candidate in the race and should be nominated.

It is this independent streak that has ALWAYS endeared me and others too Jim. If asked to describe Jim I would have to say first - he is one of the few people in the RPCC that has any integrity.

In my opinion, Jim could be described as very loyal & humble person with conservative values, but guided on doing what he thinks is right. As an elected official Jim was not afraid to make the hard decisions and do what he felt was right, regardless of what the party told him to do.

You ask - "morals & ethics in an elected official?" Yes, these morals and ethic's have not always made Jim a "party favorite," but has made him a "people's favorite." Sad to say this is something not often seen in our elected officials and why it is important we elect people like Jim Trakas.

Trakas will be facing Jason Werner in the primary. Being nice and showing restraint, the PD describes Werner in what can be considered the political understatement of the year.....
"....so extreme that they place him well to the right of many of the Republican Party's most conservative members."

Sporting a heavy hitting & high profile endorsement from his Mom & Grandmother on his website, Werner would be best suited running for class president or to the store for a gallon of milk. While his intentions may be honorable, his efforts are misguided and futile.

Trakas having served this area proudly and successfully as a councilman in Independence, in the Ohio House of Representitives for 8 years and as RPCC chairman, Jim knows exactly what is needed to recreate the Cuyahoga County area. While many of us will miss him, sending Jim to Washington will help not only District 10 but the Cuyahoga County area as a whole.

Steaming Load Award - San Fran Nan

From Politically Incorrect Gazette --

Steaming Load #1: San Fran Nan Plays Politics With The War

Last weekend, during an appearance on CNN’s ‘Late Edition’, San Fran Nan Pelosi flushed the hard won victories of our men and women in uniform down the crapper for short-term political gain. Eager to make the Demoncrats’ peace puke base punch a chad for them, she carved up our men and women in Iraq and threw that red meat to the peace punks.

The Politico blog shares these noxious butt bullets:

‘...“The purpose of the surge was to create a secure time for the government of Iraq to make the political change to bring reconciliation to Iraq,” Pelosi said on CNN’s “Late Edition.” “They have not done that.” The speaker hastened to add: “The troops have succeeded, God bless them.”

Pelosi’s harsh verdict is a reminder of the dilemma for Democrats as they head into this fall’s presidential and congressional elections:

They need to make the case that the country needs to depart from the direction set by Bush. Yet they don’t want to look like naysayers at a time when Iraq has become more stable, albeit still violent...’

As vile as that is, San Fran Nan was just getting started:

Pelosi’s comment came during a discussion of her call for “the redeployment of our troops out of Iraq.” Anchor Wolf Blitzer asked: “Are you not worried, though, that all the gains that have been achieved over the past year might be lost?”

“There haven't been gains, Wolf,” the speaker replied. “The gains have not produced the desired effect, which is the reconciliation of Iraq. This is a failure. This is a failure. The troops have succeeded, God bless them. We owe them the greatest debt of gratitude for their sacrifice, their patriotism, and for their courage and to their families as well.

“But they deserve better than the policy of a war without end, a war that could be 20 years or longer. And Secretary Gates just testified in the last 24 hours to Congress that this next year in Iraq and Afghanistan are going to cost $170 billion.

“Afghanistan is not settled because the president took his eye off the ball and took the full attention that should have been in Afghanistan, and shifted some of that to Iraq, a war without end, without a plan, without a reason to go in, without a plan to win, without a strategy to leave. This is a disaster … we cannot perpetuate.” (Politico, emphasis added)

Who the hell writes this bull crap for San Fran Nan? Osama? Mahoud al-Gilligan? Is she so blinded by her quest for political gain that she willingly, publically, gives aid and comfort to our enemies?

San Fran Nan is another reason that Mexifornia, in general, and the Blight By the Bay, in particular, need to be expelled from this great nation, RIGHT DAMN NOW! There’s a word for people like Pelosi: TRAITOR.

Perpetrated by: Hambo

(King's Note -- As you can see, the Plastic Princess - Ninny Pelosi - is one of Hambo's favorite. I wonder what would happen if Spike the Wonder Tyke tossed her in Hambo's steel reinforced dungeon?)

Your invited to an Al-Qaeda Cook Out!

Our congress has been conducting hearings and has recently outlawed water boarding as a tactic for interrogation in extreme cases. For the longest time whenever you opened a newspaper all you could read about was how the enemy combatants at Gitmo were being held in violation of the Geneva Convention.

Then I remember how the MSM saturated every available news venue or source with info & pics of how some of our soldiers put dog leashes on prisoners, offended the Koran and/or U.S. troops are violating someone's rights.

No wonder the Iraq's would rather have Al-Qaeda and not the U.S. in their country. At least Al-Qaeda has cook outs....

From Fox News -- (video)

Al-Qaeda's latest display of terror has made its way onto the Internet, showing horrifying images of what appear to be prisoners in Iraq being doused with an inflammatory liquid and then burned alive.

The video, which appears to have been posted first on Google last December in an alleged anti-Al Qaeda Web film, shows five insurgents standing behind three blindfolded prisoners kneeling at the edge of a burning pit.

"And now that we have captured these scums who committed this dreadful crime, we will burn them with this fire," the Al Qaeda leader says in Arabic. "The same fire which they committed their crime with.

"And I swear by God almighty that, I swear by God almighty that we will have no mercy on them," he continues. "Allahuakbar, Allahuakbar."

As he speaks, two of the insurgents pour liquid on the blindfolded prisoners. Then they push the bound men into the pit, where they are engulfed in flames.

This habit of having a "Cook Out" with prisoners by Al-Qaeda must stem from the enjoyment of having a BBQ with babies and serving them to their families. These prisoners sure are lucky they didn't have any nasty Americans put a leash on their neck!

Maybe they will invite Ninny Pelosi, Harry Reid & Dennis Kookcinich to the next BBQ. Hmm, Baked Pelosi w/ a MSM sauce accompanied by a side dish of Steamed Reid & shredded Human Rights served up with a little Kook sprinkled on top.

A dish the Korrectnik's would love!

Oshamster cornered by McCain!

Looks like the dem's "great hope" is being made to look ike a "great dope" by GOP candidate Senator John McCain. Barack opened his big mouth with his tough talk of change. Now he is stepping on his tongue as McCain forces him to back up his empty message of hope with action.

Thinking he may have problems raising money against the "Clinton Con Machine," Obama tried to be forward thinking and outsmart them ~ when all he did was show his ignorance and that he is not ready to play in the big time. Now that he very well may be the democrat presidential candidate, his trying to show up Hillahag may expose him for the hypocrite that he really is...

Early in the campaign Obama issued a challenge to all candidates to only use public money in the general election. John McCain is the only one who accepted! Now that the two are the front runners for each party and the presumed candidates, MCain is calling Oshamster's bluff....

From Fox News --
Obama said Friday in Milwaukee he’s not entertaining hypothetical scenarios yet.

“If I am the nominee I will make sure our people talk to John McCain’s people to find out if we are willing to abide by the same rules and regulations with respect to the general election going forward,” he said. “It would be presumptuous of me to start saying now that I am locking in to something when I don’t even know if the other side will agree to it. And I’m not the nominee yet.”

Also, in response to a questionnaire in November from the Midwest Democracy Network, a group of nonpartisan government oversight groups, Obama said: “Senator John McCain has already pledged to accept this fundraising pledge. If I am the Democratic nominee, I will aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election.” More....

Presumptuous? He offered the bet! McCain did agree to the terms and now Obama is back tracking. Some message of change - Oshamster sounds like he has the political double-talk down pat!

Cuyahoga County Judicial Races

The PD did a run down on the races for judge in Cuyahoga County. There appears to be the usual jockeying for position by the democrat candidates facing primaries races.

There will be 2 seats available on the Probate Court - 1 will be to replace retiring democrat Presiding Judge John Donnelly. The winner of this primary will take the cake as there is NO Republican candidate running.

The winner of the democrat primary for the seat of retiring democrat Probate Judge John E. Corrigan will face off against GOP candidate - Common Pleas Judge Kathleen Sutula. Residents of Cuyahoga County do not know how fortunate we are to have a person like Judge Sutula on the bench. Without a doubt, this All-Pro Judge, Judge Sutula, should be a hands down winner in any race she enters.

Judge Sutula's record will reflect she is more than capable to serve on Probate Court. Through her long time service on the bench, Judge Sutula and her no nonsense, but fair, approach in protecting the residents of Cuyahoga County from the thugs that are slowly taking over our streets, should easily convince voters she is the right women for the job.

Court of Appeals--
  • 8th District Court of Appeals Full Term Commencing 2/09/09 -- Democrat candidate, Judge Sean C. Gallagher will retain his seat. NO Republican candidate.

  • 8th District Court of Appeals Full Term Commencing 2/10/09 -- Winner of Democrat candidates- Stuart A. Friedman, Margaret Gardner, Larry A. Jones & Patrick Carroll - will face off against Republican candidate Brian Moriarty.

  • 8th District Court of Appeals Full Term Commencing 2/11/09 -- Democrat candidate Judge Patricia Ann Blackmon will retain her seat. No Republican candidate.

  • 8th District Court of Appeals Full Term Commencing 2/12/09 -- Democrat candidate Judge Kenneth A. Rocco will retain his seat. No Republican candidate.
General Division --
  • Common Pleas Court Full Term Commencing 1/01/09 -- Democrat candidate Michael J. Russo will become a judge. NO Republican candidate.

  • Common Pleas Court Full Term Commencing 1/02/09 -- Democrat candidate Judge Nancy Fuerst will retain her seat. NO Republican candidate.

  • Common Pleas Court Full Term Commencing 1/03/09 -- Lone Democrat candidate - Steven J. Terry will face off against lone Republican candidate - Robert C. McClelland

  • Common Pleas Court Full Term Commencing 1/04/09 -- Democrat candidate Judge Nancy R. McDonnell will retain her seat. NO Republican candidate.

  • Common Pleas Court Full Term Commencing 1/05/09 - Democrat candidates Dieter Domanovic, Ann Mannen, Brendan Sheehan & Donna Vozar will face off in primary. Winner takes all - NO Republican candidate.

  • Common Pleas Court Full Term Commencing 1/06/09 -- Democrat candidate Judge Eileen Gallagher will retain her seat. NO Republican candidate.

  • Common Pleas Court Full Term Commencing 1/07/09 -- Democrat candidate Judge Nancy Margaret Russo will retain her seat. NO Republican candidate.

  • Common Pleas Court Full Term Commencing 2/9/09 -- Winner of the Democrat candidates - Deena Calabrese, James Satola, & Patrick Talty - will face Republican Sam Zingales.
Domestic Relations Court --

  • Domestic Relations Judge Full Term Commencing 1/8/09 -- Democrat candidate incumbent Judge Timothy M. Flanagan will face Common Pleas Judge Shirley Strickland Saffold. Winner takes all - NO Republican candidate.

  • Domestic Relations Judge Full Term Commencing 1/09/09 -- Democrat candidates Leslie Ann Celebrezze, Daniel P. Corrigan, Patrick R. Kelly, & Carl L. LoPresti will face off in the primary. Winner takes all - NO Republican candidate.
Probate Court --
  • Probate Judge Full Term Commencing 1/01/09 -- Democrat candidates Common Pleas Judge Lillian Greene & Domestic Relations Judge Anthony J. Russo will face off in the primary. Winner takes all - NO Republican candidate.

  • Probate Judge Full Term Commencing 2/09/09 -- Winner of the Democrat candidates - Charles T. Brown, Laura J. Gallagher, Kathleen Ann Keough, Bernadette Marshall, & Thomas P. O'Donnell - will face off against Common Pleas Judge Kathleen Ann Sutula.

For anyone keeping count - the republicans were only able to find candidates for 5 of the 17 races. S0 even before the general election comes, by forfiet, the RPCC is already down 0-12 to the Cuyahoga County Democrats - just for judicial races.

This means the RPCC only found candidates for 30% of the judicial races.... I wonder if our chairman would be willing to take only 30% of his pay.

California - Will It Ever Fall In The Ocean?

The Campaign for Children and Families are kicking off their drive to combat the state-mandated indoctrination of public school children with the Radical Gay Agenda (RGA).

From World Net Daily --
Officials said SB 777 "functionally requires public school instructional materials and school-sponsored activities to positively portray cross-dressing, sex-change operations, homosexual 'marriages,' and all aspects of homosexuality and bisexuality, including so-called 'gay history.'"

The second bill, AB 394, "requires public schools to distribute controversial material to teachers, students, and parents which promotes transsexuality, bisexuality, and homosexuality, all under the guise of 'anti-harassment' training," the group said.

Supporters of these "It is Ok to be Gay" laws - point out the law does not specifically ban the words Mom & Dad - just that they are discriminatory....

Karen England, chief of CRI, told WND that the law is not a list of banned words, including "mom" and "dad." But she said the requirement is that the law bans discriminatory bias and the effect will be to ban such terminology.

"Having 'mom' and 'dad' promotes a discriminatory bias. You have to either get rid of 'mom' and 'dad' or include everything when talking about [parental issues]," she said. "They [promoters of sexual alternative lifestyles] do consider that discriminatory." More....

Sounds like they are banned to me! I thought there was no Radical Gay Agenda?

Operation Green Cloud - The Ease of a Chlorine Gas Attack

Just like that.... simple as pie! A chlorine gas attack on New York City - the result chaos.

How the hell did terrorists get chlorine!?! It has to be some terrorist group that has deep ties to the area and set up some elaborate smuggling system. One of the "sleeper cells" woke up - right? WRONG!

Not only can chlorine gas be purchased legally, any half-wit with a computer and a bone to pick with anybody can get the stuff delivered right to their door.

Impossible you say? Well the New York PD just did a hell of a job with an undercover investigation showing how easy it is for this dangerous gas to fall into the hands of any crackpot with a thorn in his ass for someone --

From IHT --
Undercover police secretly set up a fake company to demonstrate how easily and anonymously a terrorist could purchase chlorine on the Internet for a deadly chemical strike against the city.

A videotape — presented Wednesday at a briefing of private security executives — discloses for the first time the results of "Operation Green Cloud" — a reference to the yellow-green color of chlorine gas.

The purpose was "to assess the ease or difficulty with which a terrorist in the United States could acquire large quantities of chlorine without being detected by law enforcement or intelligence agencies," a narrator says on a copy of the video obtained by The Associated Press.

The conclusion: "At the present time, few if any barriers stand in his way." More...

Carnival of Ohio Politics #104

Carnival of Ohio Politics #104 is in.... Arf, Arf, Arf - the Red Dogs & Blue Dogs are yapping loud!

Primary races are nearing and partisanship always rears its ugly head head at this time of the year - but once again Jill at WLST does a great job on this weeks bi-partisan "bi-carnival....

As I sit and listen to primary voting returns for Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia be analyzed ad nauseam, let me help you recall that it was during the 104th session of the United States Congress, which ran from January 3, 1995 through January 3, 1997, that incumbent President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore were nominated to run as and were subsequently re-elected to be president and vice president of the United States. By the way, can you guess, without looking, which number president Clinton was? More....

Toledo & Beserkeley Still Get It Wrong

The City of Beserkeley, Mexifornia & Toledo, Ohio have been getting top billing among bloggers this week for their attack on our beloved Unites States Marine Corp.

I believe fellow SOB member Maggie at Thurber's Thoughts probably has the most detailed of all the posts on the asinine antics of Toledo Mayor Farty Finkweiner.

Hambo from Politically Incorrect Gazette bestowed the Steaming Load & Girlieman of the Week on Beserkely Mayor Tom Bates and his pink pantied council. Since Bates had both awards tied up Hambo slipped Mayor Finkweiner in his Hambo's Hammer earlier this week.....

I know what you’re thinking and, once again, you’re wrong. We’ve already dispensed PIGish justice on Beserkeley’s mayor on our Girlieman of the Week page.

This time, we’re talking about Toledo's (Ohio) Mayor, Carty Finkbeiner, AKA Mayor Asshat.

If the Mayor insists on giving the United States Marines the one finger salute...if Mayor Asshat is so damn determined to give aid and comfort to America’s enemies by denying our troops essential training, he needs to be a man about it. No doubt, he’ll probably need to ask a REAL man what he’d do, then proceed accordingly. If he didn’t want them in town, then he should have the nads to deliver that message IN PERSON. Lookup gutless asshat in your dictionary and you’ll find this punk’s mug shot.

After receiving heat from across the nation, both cities had the chance to do the right thing and they failed miserably. Not only did they fail miserably, it looks as if they will now have Hambo's full attention! Trust me... forget about Tripoli - the Shores of Beserkely & Toledo may never be the same.

Pissing off Hambo might be worse then pissing off the Marines! Porcus Maximus does not have him locked in a steel reinforced dungeon for no reason. I am sure you have heard the saying ~ The Few, The Proud, The.... Oh Shit its Hambo!

Spike the Wonder Tyke (one finger saluting above) found this latest piece of PIGish prose outside Hambo's dungeon.....

On Tuesday, in two American cities - Beserkeley (Mexifornia), Toledo (Ohio) - the top item on the City Council’s agenda involved making peace with the United States Marines. Neither of them got the job done, to our satisfaction, but of the two, Toledo’s Elected Tormentors came the closest.

In Beserkeley, the city harkened back to the 1960's with war protestors squared off against rational patriotic adults in front of the toilet bowl - they call it City Hall. That’s where the steaming plate of turds running that blight on the USA perpetrate their foul business. When the dust settled, the City Council pulled back, a little, but it’s not even in the same universe as an unconditional surrender. The Contra Costa Times spewed this putrid prose:

The Berkeley City Council attempted to make nice with U.S. Marines recruiters Wednesday morning by taking back a letter it planned to send calling the Corps "uninvited and unwelcome intruders" in the city. But a motion to formally apologize failed.

Instead the City Council with a 7-2 vote at 1 a.m. sought to clarify one of its Jan. 29 Marines motions with new language that recognizes "the recruiters' right to locate in our city and the right of others to protest or support their presence."

The new statement also said the council opposes "the recruitment of our young people into this war."

A firestorm of outrage from the VRWC, including moves by state and federal Legicrats to pull the plug on funds headed for the city, hammered these scumbags mercilessly. Despite that richly deserved smackdown, these Beserkeley butt bullets insist that their actions were not motivated by this deafening blowblack by rational adults from sea to shining sea.

The scorecard in Beserkeley isn’t exactly thrilling. On the plus side, the City Council won’t be sending that “get out of Dodge you baby killing war mongers” letter to the Marines. On the minus side, they refuse to apologize, and won’t call off the Code Pink peace pukes.

In Toledo, the situation is much more entertaining. I’ll begin with the good news, as reported by the local fishwrap, the Toledo Blade:

Without discussion, the 12-member council approved a resolution apologizing to Company A, 1st Battalion, 24th Marines, based in Grand Rapids, Mich., for the mayor’s action Friday afternoon.
Has the Toledo City Council gone over to the dark side and GASP found that faint flicker of patriotism deep inside them? Not exactly. There’s another matter that’s driving this abject apology and, as usual, it has to do with money.

What I didn’t know, until now, is that Mayor Asshat’s timing couldn’t possibly be worse. Why? In addition to punching a chad for the steaming loads running for the Oval Office, Toledo’s electorate gets to vote on another matter during the March 4th primary. What matter? It’s near and dear to the city’s Elected Tormentor’s hearts: the renewal of the city’s 0.75% income tax. Are we starting to understand the City Council’s mad dash to distance themselves from Mayor Asshat’s war on the United States Marines, Sparky?

This bad timing isn’t lost on those who attended this City Council session:

James Hintz, of Henry County, testified that people should vote no on the 0.75 percent tax. “[Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner] is a politician and the only thing that makes them aware is to take away what feeds them — and that is money,” Mr. Hintz said.

Councilman Joe McNamara, who presented the resolution along with Frank Szollosi, D. Michael Collins, Michael Ashford, and Mike Craig, pleaded with people not to attempt to punish the mayor by defeating the income tax renewal.

“Voting no on the 0.75 percent tax will not remove Mayor Finkbeiner from office,” Mr. McNamara said. “Please don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.”

The 0.75 percent is projected to raise about $57.7 million in 2008 and is part of the city’s total 2.25 percent wage tax. The money would be allocated equally to police, fire, and other safety departments; the general operating fund, and the capital improvements fund.

It won’t shock you to learn that, in another unanimous 12-0 vote, the council passed a resolution backing the income tax renewal. Do these two votes by the city council end the matter? Is it time to cue the violin music and post the ‘happily ever after’ banner? Not exactly, because the city council’s apology resolution requires Mayor Asshat’s signature to become official. That’s not necessarily a slam dunk:

Mr. Finkbeiner, who has refused to apologize and has defended his decision, yesterday declined to say whether he would sign the resolution or if he believed the controversy would hinder the city’s attempt to renew the 0.75 percent income tax on the March 4 ballot.

The rational adults in Toledo have these city hacks by the balls and I think it’s time to give those Elected Tormentor nads a hard squeeze.

Parting shot: This tale of two cities is far from over, so I’m issuing an official pagan scribbler “stay tuned”.

Pakistan - Missiles & Chaos

Pakistan testing another missile with nuclear capabilities will be sure to make the country of India happy.

Pakistan has just successfully tested a short range missile, Ghazanvi missile, with nuclear capabilities. A few weeks ago I posted on Pakistan's successful testing of a medium range missile, the Shaheen-1, that can carry multiple nuclear warheads.

From IHT --

Pakistan's military said Wednesday it has successfully test-fired a short-range missile capable of carrying a nuclear device.

The army's Strategic Missile Group launched the Ghazanvi missile, which has a range of 290 kilometers (180 miles), from an undisclosed location, a military statement said.

Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro, top army officials and scientists witnessed the test, it said.

Soomro said Wednesday that Pakistan seeks peace in the region, but "peace comes from strength" and "weakness invites aggression." More....

I would bet 10 to 1 this latest test will be sure to have Ohio Sen. George "The Great Horned One" RINOvich, once again caterwauling, for congress to pass the completely mind boggling 123 Agreement between the U.S. & India. The 123 Agreement basically says the U.S. will fund & support nuclear technology in India for the next 40 years! (Click here for text of 123 Agreement)

Because of the instability in the area we need to be working to decrease the amount of nuclear capable ordinance in this region - not adding fuel to the fire by pushing an agreement that is sure to turn the arms race with Pakistan & India into a NASCAR event!

Every countries greatest fear is terrorist's getting their little jihadakaze hands on nukes. If they do - you can just about guarantee the link will be through Pakistan.

There are still undeniable consistencies in the allegations that Baitullah Mehsud, a ruthless tribal warlord from South Waziristan in northern Pakistan, had former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto killed to protect the rogue Islamic nuke nut - Dr. Abdul Qadeer Kahn, aka "Father of the Pakistani Bomb."

Recent events in Pakistan should raise more than a few eyebrows. The power struggle between Musharraff and the Pakistani Army continues, Mehsud with his Al-Qaeda linked groups are turning northwest Pakistan into a bigger safe-haven for terrorists, two technicians for Pakistan's Atomic Agency and Pakistan's ambassador to Afghanistan were kidnapped....

The new army chief of Pakistan has ordered the withdrawal of military officers from the government's civil departments, officials said Tuesday, an action that reverses an important policy of his predecessor, President Pervez Musharraf.

The order by the army chief, Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, was the boldest step he has taken to disentangle the military from the civilian sphere of the government since President Musharraf stepped down as military chief in November and Kayani replaced him.

The news came as the country faced further deterioration of law and order in the northwestern tribal areas straddling the border with Afghanistan, a refuge for Taliban and Al Qaeda Islamic militants and their allies. Two technicians working for Pakistan's atomic agency were reported to have been kidnapped Tuesday in the northwest, and the police said there was no word on the fate of Pakistan's ambassador to Afghanistan, Tariq Azizuddin, who was reported missing on Monday after he tried to drive through the Khyber Pass en route to Afghanistan. More...

Any suckers want to take me up on the bet that Pakistan is where terrorist's first get possession of nukes?
