Holy Rolling Wacko gets Arrested

What a great post to get started with again...

Local crack pot Jason Werner of the Constitution Party was arrested for being a holy-rolling wacko the other day. Wiener was confronted and detained by police after patrons at a restaurant complained his rantings were disrupting their dinner.

Standing outside the Blue Point Grille, Wiener was accosting patrons with his religious rants...

"Any coward who supports abortion has the blood of babies on their hands," Werner said they preached near West Sixth Street and St. Clair Avenue. "Live for Jesus Christ, and you're guaranteed to go straight to heaven. Live for yourself, and you'll go straight to hell."

When police arrived an argument about the Bible ensued and after refusing their order to leave, he was arrested --
While being tossed into a police car, Werner said he preached some more: "Well, Jesus wants your heart. He doesn't want you to be religious."

Police cited Werner for disorderly conduct. He was blocking the path of bystanders and telling people that they were baby killers and were going to hell, the ticket states.

Wiener is well known for his holy rolling rants of eternal damnation and for pretty much being in his own world. While I fully support a persons right to free speech - I do not believe this is a case of free speech or preaching the bible. I believe it is more of a crack pot holy roller giving religion a bad rap in the name of Christ.

The goose-stepping geek gives his version of events here. Trust me this is must read material! You can also read about his boycott on the Cav Girls! Yep, in "Wiener's World" if you even look at the Cav Girls - you are a sexual pervert!

  3. I think Mr. Warner has some realizations to come to. This may or may not happen in GOD's time. He has obviously taken evangelism somewhere it was never intended to go. Whatever is in his personality that would make him feel this would be a calling I cannot understand. Perhaps he will come to understand this is not the way. I will not ridicule him but I do pray for him to come to know the LORD in a peaceful, loving and powerful way. True power is never brazen.

There is a big difference between right to freedom of expression of worship and being a nuisance and harassing people.

Is anybody really stupid enough to believe street preaching will open someone's eyes? I would bet this type of street preaching drives more people away from Christianity.

I am also of the belief crap like this perpetuates the misconception that all conservatives are a bunch of - holier than thou, Bible-thumping wack jobs.

I am sure somewhere in the Bible there is something that says we should also respect the rights of others.

Wiener needs medication more than prayer!
