Did Al-Qaeda use a Thermobaric Bomb in Hotel Attack?

We all know that the IED's and TNT laden truck bombs the terrorists use cause massive amounts of death and destruction. In most places that would be threatened security measures are in place that minimize the damage from any attack.

The ever adapting "virgin-in-heaven-seeking" jihadakaze's may have obtained a weapon that will negate these measures and create total carnage!

It is now believed that the explosion at Islamabad Marriott was caused by a thermobaric bomb. The only thing worse than Al-Qaeda or the Taliban with a thermobaric bomb would be Obama getting elected president.

From National Terror Alert --

The bomb was delivered in a truck that contained what investigators believe was aluminum powder in addition to grenades and artillery shells. The aluminum power is believed to have been responsible for the acceleration and expansion of the impact of the bomb.

Aluminum powder has long been used to boost the power of explosives. Blast weapons like the 15,000-pound BLU-82 Daisy Cutter and the 21,600-pound “Mother of All Bombs” use it to increase their destructive force.

The blast and fire damage at the Islamabad Marriott were severe enough as it was. But a similar device with enhanced engineering could have leveled the building and caused far worse casualties. Terrorists showed that one of the most secure buildings in Islamabad was still vulnerable to attack, but there was far less damage than there might have been. More...

Click on the link to read all about thermobaric bombs. You will be amazed at their destructive capabilities.

We, the United States, have the "Mother of All Bombs," and Russia has what they call the "Dad of All Bombs." The Russian, "Dad of All Bombs," is a thermobaric bomb with a blast radius twice as big as our strongest non-nuclear bomb and four times more powerful. Russia's devastating thermobaric bomb, though not a nuclear bomb, is an air delivered weapon that has the ability to equal the destruction of a nuclear bomb.

Makes me wonder if maybe the beady-eyed KGB agent Putin maybe helping them.

Which brings me to this....

A friend of mine has a son who was staying at the Islamabad Marriott. By the grace of God he was not at the hotel during the bombing. I would ask that everyone keep our troops and their families in your prayers while they continue fighting one of the most evil enemies our country and this world has ever faced!

Trakas Calls on President To Declare “Market Holiday ”

Trakas Calls on President To Declare “Market Holiday ”
Candidate Wants to Stop Middle Class Investors From Losing Their Life Savings

FOR IMMEDATE RELEASE:
MONDAY SEPTEMBER 29, 2008

CONTACT:
JIM TRAKAS
216-621-5418 OR 216-534-6347

(INDEPENDENCE) 10th Congressional District candidate Jim Trakas (R-10) of Independence called upon President Bush to use broad executive power to shut down the nation’s financial markets while Congress can develop an equitable plan to deal with the financial crisis. “We need to take a page from Franklin D. Roosevelt and declare a market holiday for the foreseeable future to stop the bleeding of everyday Americans’ investments, retirement accounts, and plunge the American economy into a freefall,” said the former four-term state representative.

“Washington created this mess in a bi-partisan manner a decade ago when they encouraged and embraced sub-prime loans and risky investments in the late 1990s. Today, Washington has failed to clean up the financial mess left in its wake, and real people in real America are being adversely affected,” Trakas stated.

After the September 11, 2001 , terrorist attacks, the stock market was shut down for nearly a week so that the financial markets could recover, and the same approach was used for banks in the Great Depression. Trakas’ plan would be to shut down all financial markets until Congress and the President could agree on a plan acceptable to taxpayers, investors, and those looking out for the good of the country in the long term.

Trakas continued, “Before regular people lose all their savings, before 401(k)s and pension funds are wiped out, before credit gets so bad that employers cannot make payrolls, I call on President Bush to shut down the American markets, roll up his sleeves and work with the Congressional leadership to resolve this crisis for the sake of all Americans.”

Barack O'Shameless - Was asked NOT to wear Fallen Soldiers Bracelet!

H/T to Tom at Bizzy Blog on this one.

Barack Obama has no shame. This man will say or do anything to hijack the presidency. In what has to probably be the biggest affront to our soldiers and one of their fallen comrades by a politician - Obama puts his self interest, before the wishes of a fallen soldiers grieving mother.

In the debate the other night John McCain spoke about how a mother of a fallen soldier asked him to wear her sons bracelet....

And I'll tell you, I had a town hall meeting in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, and a woman stood up and she said, "Senator McCain, I want you to do me the honor of wearing a bracelet with my son's name on it."

He was 22 years old and he was killed in combat outside of Baghdad, Matthew Stanley, before Christmas last year. This was last August, a year ago. And I said, "I will -- I will wear his bracelet with honor."

And this was August, a year ago. And then she said, "But, Senator McCain, I want you to do everything -- promise me one thing, that you'll do everything in your power to make sure that my son's death was not in vain."
As McCain was speaking, Obama, who was barely able to contain himself, almost broke his wrist scrambling to look for a military bracelet given to him by the mother of another fallen soldier.

Senator Barack O'Smugness, like a fifth grader on a playground, couldn't wait to chirp in that he had a bracelet too....

Jim, let me just make a point. I've got a bracelet, too, from Sergeant - from the mother of Sergeant Ryan David Jopeck (ph), given to me ingrain bin green bay. She asked me, can you please make sure another mother is not going through what I'm going through.
The McCain / Obama difference here? McCain took a break from politics during this exchange in the debate. McCain was speaking from his heart about the bracelet given to him from the fallen soldiers mother. McCain wears the bracelet with honor.

Obama, on the other hand, feels his bracelet is to be worn as "bling" and uses it to score political points - even after Sgt. Jopek's mother asked him to stop.

Tom's post links to an interview between father of slain soldier Ryan David Jopek, and “Route 51″ show host Glenn Moberg. Here are some excerpts of the interview with Mr. Jopek...

Brian Jopek: ....she just wanted to put a name, y’know, Mr. Obama to know Ryan’s name. That’s all. It was just something that she had intended, uh, to just hand to him. She wasn’t looking to turn it into a big media event, which of course is what it ended up being. She just wanted it to be something between Barack Obama and herself....

Jopek: She has turned down any subsequent interviews with the media because she just didn’t want it to get turned into something that it wasn’t. She had told me in an email that she had asked, actually asked Mr. Obama to not wear the bracelet any more at any of his public appearances.

Jopek:
"...that’s a choice that he continues to wear it despite Tracy asking him not to…"

The Continuing Cuyahoga County Saga

I have long stated that the FBI investigation into the fiasco & corruption with the airport runway project, the Cleveland Water Dept. corruption probe, the NEORSD FBI investigation and the Nate Gray case, were far from over.

Many of my friends have heard me spout that these investigations were just the tip of the iceberg. I have regularly spouted, "that in the end - all the separate investigations and inquiries will be neatly tied together."

When the larger county corruption scandal emerged - for me - it was all elementary. The writing on the wall could not have been any more telling - it was only an extension of the initial investigations. There is no doubt in my mind, that when the feds first started the investigation into the airport, they had no clue as to just what they were getting into or how far this would go.

Cleveland street hustler and former Cleveland Mayor Mike White's best bud, Nate Gray, was one of the first to go down.

From the PD --

During the resentencing, Gwin revealed that U.S. District Judge Dan Aaron Polster found Gray in contempt of a civil order for the refusal to testify.

The move stopped the clock on Gray's criminal sentence for 18 months, the length of the grand jury investigation. When the grand jury probe ended, his criminal sentence
started again. In the end, he will spend 16 1/2; years in prison.

It is unclear when Gray was to testify or appear before Polster, as the civil case and all of the filings are under seal because of the secrecy of the grand jury.

The fact that prosecutors wanted Gray to appear before the panel suggests that the FBI's probe of Cleveland City Hall and the city's water department -- where Gray's pay-to-play scam blossomed -- may not be over. More...

Though Gray is a crook - I respect him for not being a rat. However, his not rolling over has contributed to some of the hurdles in the Fed's investigative efforts. Gray spilling the beans would have made their jobs much easier, instead they are forced to piece things together.

As they go, some of the questions they have are getting answered, leading them deeper. You can be sure that former Cuyahoga County Recorder Pat O'Malley answered some of these questions.

Barack Ovader's Storm Troopers stomp on Free Speech

Taking a tactic from former President Nixon - Obama is threatening TV stations with FCC investigations and lawsuits if they run any ads that do not portray him in the best of light.

Barack Ovader has dispatched his storm troopers to Missouri in the attempts of squelching any ads or depictions of him they disagree with - regardless if they are true or not...

KMOV-TV in St. Louis reports District Attorney Robert McCulloch, a past president of the National District Attorneys Association, said that whether the ads could be attributed to an opponent's campaign itself, or another organization, "If they're not going to tell the truth, somebody's got to step up and say, 'That's not the truth. This is the truth.'"

The KMOV report said the Obama campaign asked members of Missouri's law enforcement to target anyone who "lies" or issues misleading television ads. Formation of the Obama "Truth Squad" was the result, the report said. More...
Of course Obama's and his cult followers are exempt from these restrictions of telling the truth. Which only makes sense as they are the ones who create the truth and are implementing their Selective Free Speech requirements. Selective Free Speech means you can say what you want - as long as it agrees with the propaganda disseminated from Ovaders camp.

Understand, things are only deemed truthful if they are taken directly from Barack Ovader's - "How to trick America into Electing Me" handbook.

Knowing how them gun-clinging rednecks from PA & Ohio hate Ovader, the Storm Troopers pulled out their Free Speech slashing light sabres and prepared for battle. Launching a preemptive strike - warning shots over the bow at some news agencies in Ohio & PA....

The effort appeared to be part of a move by the Obama campaign to block advertisements to which it objects. The campaign also sent "threatening" letters to several news agencies in Pennsylvania and Ohio demanding they stop airing ads exposing Obama's gun stance, according to the National Rifle Association.

The NRA said Obama sent "cease and desist letters" to news outlets in the two states, "denouncing the ads and demanding their removal from the airwaves."

The warnings were from Obama lawyer Robert Bauer, who told station managers that in order to stay in the Federal Communication commission's good graces, they should not air the ads. More...
I guess sometimes the "real" truth hurts!

O'Malley tries using his children to get probation on Obscenity Charges

Boy - former Cuyahoga County Recorder, Pat O'Malley, really is a piece of work. He is now trying to use his children to get off from serving time on his obscenity charges!

O'Malley recently passed up the chance to change his guilty plea on obscenity charges and refused. O'Malley was given this chance because U.S. District Judge David Dowd refused to accept a plea deal that tied his hands in sentencing. The other reason the plea agreement was rejected is because the nature of the material involved contained- sadistic or masochistic conduct "or other depictions of violence" - and that the probation department recommended a sentence longer than the plea agreement allowed.

O'Malley's attorney, Ian Friedman, has filed a memorandum of sentencing supporting the terms of the original plea deal. In the memorandum Friedman claims that jailing O'Malley will be harmful to his children. Friedman's request to keep all the information in the memorandum secret was denied by the judge.

From the PD --
The memorandum asks the judge to sentence O'Malley to supervised probation, or if that's is insufficient, to home detention. It includes letters of support from many community members and discusses his support for such causes as treatment for drug and alcohol addiction and Cleveland Golden Gloves boxing, and his efforts to assist with disaster relief following Hurricane Georges in Puerto Rico in 1998 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

The filing also expresses concern for the well-being of his two youngest children, whose custody he shares with his ex-wife, Vicki O'Malley.

"Mr. O'Malley's children have been exposed to significant turmoil in recent years, and the loss of their father would cause additional, potentially irreparable, harm," it said. "His absence would cause the children, particularly his youngest, to suffer extreme emotional distress and to endure precarious living arrangements." More...

What a loser! Protect his children from precarious living arrangements? O'Malley recently threatened Solon Police after his young children somehow, without his knowledge, disappeared from his house at 5:oo am.

It sounds like these poor kids need to be protected from O'Malley and his ex-wife.

Exploding Wieners

Doing my usual morning scan of the news, one cup of coffee short of being fully awake, I stumbled across this story - exploding wieners at a baseball game.

At first I thought it was just another stunt by the Radical Gay Agenda promoting another "Gay Day" at a major league baseball game.

Boy was I wrong!

The Daily Telegraph --
Several suspicious packages were reportede to police near the ticket office at Citizens Bank Park, baseball stadium in Philadelphia, America.

Spectators had to be evacuated from the stadiumm but players remained on the field during the incident. The incident happened before the main game betweeen the Philadelphia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves.

Streets around the ground were also sealed off.

Bomb squad members were called in and on further investigated the packages were determined to be simply several hot dogs in foil wrappers. The wieners were detonated as a precaution. More...

The Ohio Retard Party

This is simply amazing! This is a testament on the incompetence of the many short bus riding, window-licking retards we have running the Ohio Republican Party!

On the left you will see a picture of Frank Russo from FL. Mr. Russo is a FL businessman and never lived in Ohio. On the right we see Frank Russo the Cuyahoga County Auditor facing a federal corruption probe.

Big Deal! Right?!? It is when the retards of the Ohio Republican Party sends out a flyer attacking the Russo on the right and includes a picture of the Russo on the left.

Yep, attempting to help Nan Baker in her race against Jennifer Brady for the Ohio House 16th District seat, the dolts running the Ohio Republican Party sent out a flyer picturing the wrong Russo....

And what would a ORP blunder be without the typical shirking of responsibilities? Speaking on behalf of the ORP is the lack of accountability poster child for the party - Chairman Rob "It's never my fault" Frost - of the Republicant Party of Cuyahoga County...

From WTAM --

Rob Frost of the Cuyahoga County Republican Party says the printing vendor got the picture wrong, and it was caught by GOP proofers. But for some reason, Frost says the incorrect picture wound up back in the final print.

Frost says the ad was paid for by the Ohio Republican Party, and they will ultimately be responsible for correcting the error.

Frank Russo of Florida tells Newsradio WTAM 1100 that at first he thought it was a joke when we contacted him. He is considering legal action because he feels the use of his photo casts him in a negative light.

Russo tells us that he has never been to Cleveland or Cuyahoga County.
Blame it on the printer! I guess the printers hired by the ORP are supposed to OK the final proof after the alleged corrections were made. Nothing like accountability huh?

I hope the Russo from FL breaks it off in the ORP's ass!

Girlieman of the Week -- Senator Ted Stevens

Girlieman of the Week
Date Awarded: September 26, 2008

Girlieman: Senator Ted Stevens
Antics: Relentless Finger-Pointing

This week’s winner is something of a place holder for all the other gutless Elected Tormentor scumbags who refuse to take responsibility for their own actions. After watching Congressman Charlie Rangel bob, weave, and point fingers to deflect blame for his BLATANT tax fraud, Alaska Senator Ted "Bridge to Nowhere" Stevens borrowed that defense strategy to ward off culpability for his own ‘you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours’ antics. Determined to avoid having the U. S. Justice system stamp ‘GOTCHA’ on his 84 year old political hack butt, Stevens is twisting turning and doing his best to shift the blame somewhere, anywhere.

His gotcha harkens back to 2000, when he decided to remodel his house. Normally, that would involve hiring a contractor. Normally, but not this time. Instead of a contractor, Ted ‘asked’ his chum, Bill Allen, to ‘manage the project’, for him. Bill would ramrod the upgrade to Ted’s digs, since Ted was busy in D. C., where he was setting new records for pork barrel projects. Bill was a ‘curious’ choice, since Bill is not your basic moose molesting Alaskan slacker. Bill Allen is the chairman of VECO Corp., an oil services firm. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that VECO has been the recipient of some federal funds, funds that were funneled his way by - TA DA - Ted Stevens. Holy stench of corruption, Batman!

The rubber hits the road, on this one, because the amount of work done on the Steven’s homestead is pegged at $250,000, but Bill Allen, generously, only charged his pal Ted $160,000. Maybe he forgot to carry the one. Or, as prosecutors say, Bill Allen was putting a down payment on future gifts, from a powerful U.S. senator.

Cementing his hold on this Girlieman award, Ted Stevens is frantically ducking any blame. Leaving nothing to chance, he blames Bill Allen for his ‘generosity’ and his failure to pass along all the bills. Sensing that such a ploy might not save his sorry ass, Ted is willing to throw his own wife, Catherine Stevens, under the wheels of the proverbial bus with Bill Allen. How? You’ll love it:

Stevens said he was clueless about the cost and scope of the project, saying his wife controlled the checkbook. Defense attorney Brendan Sullivan said that when Stevens had a message for her, he communicated through his Senate aides. (AP)

When confronted by all the work done by VECO employees, all the freebees bestowed - a spiffy gas grill, an ‘elaborate rope lighting system’, a sled mutt, plus a ‘sweetheart deal on a car’, Ted insists he never wanted, needed, or asked for those things. Yeah right Ted, but you left out one more thing you didn’t do: you didn’t give them back, turn them down, or offer to pay full, fair, market value for them.

Ted Stevens is a gutless guttersnipe, who hasn’t got the nads to man up, accept the blame for his actions, and take his medicine. To save his sorry ass, he’ll blame Bill Allen, VECO, his wife, and, probably, the sled mutt, if Ted gets desperate enough. The only one he hasn’t blamed, yet, is Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. He’s probably holding that one in reserve.

You’re a gutless piece of Elected Tormentor shit, Ted, and we all know it. You’re also the Politically Incorrect Gazette’s Girlieman of the Week. You’ll probably try to shift blame for that, too, but we won’t let you. You bagged this one all by yourself.

Steaming Load #1: Pittsburgh Government School’s take ‘dumbing down’ to a new level.

From Politically Incorrect Gazette --

Steaming Load #1: Pittsburgh Government School’s take ‘dumbing down’ to a new level.

A retired home economics teacher, Judy Loeonardi, nailed it she described Pittsburgh Public Schools’ new grading policy with this pointed prose: "walk in the door, breathe the air and get 50% for that". That’s right PIGsters, under the new rules of engagement, no matter how miserable a student does on an assignment, a test or other school work, the lowest grade they can get isn’t 0, it’s 50%. Just for showing up and breathing the air, they get 50%.

Eager to keep that slacker self esteem high, Pittsburgh Educrats have eliminated the dastardly ‘F’ and replaced it with a more user friendly ‘E’. It probably stands for something asinine like ‘Effort’. Whatever it stands for, it, like the 50% minimum score, is supposed to ‘inspire’ these scholastic bottom feeders to crank up the synapses and try harder. Yeah right.

School grades are the early warning system of the educational process. When someone scores a 0, or a 20, or even an honest 50, it should set off "there’s something very wrong here" alarm bells in the class room and at home. That kind of grade means there’s a significant failure in the transmission of information which needs to be addressed, NOW. Ignoring it, hoping it will all go away, by giving it a 50% score, allows the student to fall farther behind. If the kid has a learning problem, FIX IT. If the kid just doesn’t give a damn, GET HIM THE HELL OUT OF THERE. The grading system, an HONEST grading system, facilitates those kind of decisions.

Giving a government cess-school inmate 50% for showing up is asinine. Life doesn’t work that way. If you just show up and breathe the air, on your job, your boss isn’t going to try to inspire you by giving you 50% of your pay. More likely, you’ll be told to shape up, stat, or figure out a way to live without 100% of your pay.

Failure is part of life. It sucks, but it’s necessary, to prepare an individual for the unflinching rigors of objective reality. The Pittsburgh public school pukes aren’t doing anyone a favor, by coddling students. To me, this smells like a ploy by these Educrap butt bullets to hide their own pathetic performance. If your students can’t pass the tests, that’s a sign that YOU, Mr. Educrat, FAILED to educate them.

The Free State of PIG gives Pittsburgh public school officials a big fat 0, a dastardly F, for trying to sweep their own failures under the rug with this asinine policy.

Batchelder for Ohio House District 69

The PD notes after all the years Batchelder has served and the many great things he has accomplished over his years - he is still a tireless and dedicated official.

How often do we find that?

From the PD --
This district covers most of Medina County. House members serve two-year terms.

THE CANDIDATES:

William Batchelder, 65, a Republican, is technically a freshman legislator, but in reality is finishing his 32nd year in the House. Batchelder served from 1968 to 1998, left to be a judge in the Common Pleas and state appeals courts. He has a bachelor's degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a law degree from Ohio State University.

Jack Schira, 70, a Democrat, is a retired aerospace engineer and Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam and spent four years as a Brunswick Hills Township trustee. He has master's degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Oklahoma.

OUR VIEW:

Schira ran unsuccessfully against Batchelder in 2006. Although a bit bombastic, he has an impressive understanding of that fact that keeping educated young people in Ohio is central to improving the state's troubled economy. Schira is an informed candidate with the intelligence to serve well in the legislature.

Batchelder is a Statehouse and Medina County legend whose intellect and earlier accomplishments in the legislature prompted voters to return him to Columbus in 2006. But Batchelder has hardly rested on his laurels, as evidenced by a number of his recent legislative efforts - notably reforms to the workers' compensation system and passage of a bill to end payday-lending abuses. Few legislators are as conservative as Batchelder. None may be as bright.

Batchelder needs to be re elected for the simple fact of, not only is he good for his district, but he is one of the few guys that actually works!

2nd Amendment Victory in Ohio

In a ruling that confirms the 2nd Amendment rights of LEGAL gun owners in Ohio, the Ohio Supreme Court upheld a Sixth District Court of Appeals ruling on restrictions municipalities may place on owners of Carry Conceal permits.

The case involves Ohioans for Concealed Carry and the City of Clyde over their 2004 ban on "weapons" in city-owned parks. The ordinance --

"...expressly included in its weapons ban persons who were licensed to carry a concealed firearm “pursuant to R.C. 2923.125.”

As expected this ruling has Mayors and City Managers throughout Ohio bellowing - "kids will get shot" and verbalizing images of gun-strapped parents ready to shoot the ump over a bad call. Even though they claim this is another attack on "Home Rule" - it is not!

The ruling does not strike down their ban on "weapons" in the city-owned parks. The ruling only states municipalities cannot restrict the rights of individuals legally licensed by the State of Ohio to carry a firearm.

In support of their argument that the ordinance does not violate state law the City of Clyde offers up that since private property owners can place restrictions CCW permit holders so can they. The city thinly tries to pass off the ruse that since they own the parks - they are privately owned. Huh?

Some of the jugheads on Ohio's highest court agreed with this blurring distinction between public and private property. In a dissenting opinion, Chief Justice Thomas Moyer wrote...

The different treatment of public and private property is patently arbitrary and unreasonable; it affects one class of land solely on the basis of ownership, which has little to do with the relative safety of allowing concealed handguns on a particular type of property ...
Also in agreement but writing his own dissenting opinion, Justice Paul E. Pfeifer scribbles...
“There is no rational basis to distinguish between private and public property owners in regard to their statutory ability to prevent persons from carrying firearms onto their property...
Treatment of public and private property arbitrary? No rational basis to distinguish between public and private property? It sounds as if these robe wearing rubes, given the chance, would very easily agree that private property could, at times, also be considered public property (state owned).

Also in agreement, but writing his own dissenting opinion, Justice Paul E. Pfeifer scribbles...

“There is no rational basis to distinguish between private and public property owners in regard to their statutory ability to prevent persons from carrying firearms onto their property...
Treatment of public and private property arbitrary? No rational basis to distinguish between public and private property? It sounds as if these robe wearing rubes, given the chance, would have no problem trampling the rights of private property owners. Under this backward line of thinking - they could very easily agree that private property could, at times, also be considered public property (state owned).

Thank God Justice O'Donnell could not disagree more. Respecting the rights of private property owners and our 2nd Amendment rights, in the majority decision, O'Donnell writes...

There is a distinction between public and private property. A private landowner is the sole possessor of private property. ... On the other hand, public property is owned by the taxpayers and is accessible to all. If there were no distinction made between public and private property as the dissent suggests, then a municipality could in the future choose to expand the prohibition from public parks to public sidewalks and roadways, and eventually to all public property. We therefore conclude that the public/private distinction does not affect the uniform application of this statute.”

Joining Justice O'Donnell in the majority were -- Justices Evelyn Lundberg Stratton, Justice Maureen O’Connor and Justice Robert R. Cupp. 4-3

The Best Bailout Plan Yet!

Most of the time I do not pass on information from my "secret advisors," but it would be a crime to keep this edict of economic euphoria a secret.

This "Secret Advisor" is an elected official and a brilliant thinker!

From my email --
I'm against the $85 BILLION bailout of AIG.

Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a "We Deserve It" dividend.

To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000 bona fide U.S. citizens, aged 18+. Our population is about 301 million counting every man, woman, and child.

So, 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up.

Now, divide 200 million, 18+ adults into $85 billion - that equals $425,000.00 each!

Yes, my plan is to give that $425,000 to every adult as a "We Deserve It" dividend.

Of course, it would NOT be tax free. So, let's assume a tax rate of 30%. Everyone would pay $127,500.00 in taxes.

That sends $25.5 billion right back to Uncle Sam! It also means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket.

A husband and wife would have $595,000.00!

What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00?
  • Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved

  • Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads

  • Put away money for college - it'll really be there

  • Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs

  • Buy a new car - create jobs

  • Invest in the market - capital drives growth

  • Pay for your parent's medical insurance -health care improves

  • Enable Deadbeat Parents to come clean - or else!

Remember this is for every adult U.S. citizen, 18 and older (including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehmann Brothers and every other company that is cutting back) and of course, for those serving in ourArmed Forces.

If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out every adultU.S.citizen!!

As for AIG - liquidate it.

  • Sell off its parts.

  • Let American General go back to being American General.

  • Sell off the real estate.

  • Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and
    clean it up.

We deserve the money and AIG doesn't. Sure it's a crazy idea, but can you imagine the coast-to-coast block party?!

How do you spell Economic Boom? W-e D-e-s-e-r-v-e I-t d-i-v-i-d-e-n-d!

I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the$85 Billion "We Deserve It" dividend more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in Washington, D.C..

And remember, The plan only really costs $59.5 billion because $25.5 billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.

Clay is Gay

Now this is a real shocker - Clay Aikens is a rope smoker!

From Yahoo News --
But now Clay has finally come out, in a People article accompanied by the first published photos of his new bouncing baby boy, Parker Foster (who apparently was his inspiration for telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth here, as he told the mag, "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things"). Kudos to Clay for being an honest role model for his child, and I'm certain that any worries Clay--or, probably more specifically, his handlers--had about him losing fans after such a confession
will prove totally unfounded.

I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things? Please!

This poor child's birth is perpetuated on a lie! The fruit hid his homo tendencies in the closet for years?

It is disgusting that Aikens would be so selfish in having this child. It will be hard enough on the kid knowing he was a laboratory baby - but he will also have to be saddled with being the son of a famous fruit loop!

Come on Clay - the way you held the microphone so lovingly to your mouth was a dead give a way that you were gay.

Castle Doctrine passes first test in Ohio

Well that was quick! The newly enacted Castle Doctrine was put to a test the other day and it passed with flying colors!

From the PD --

The 65-year-old crept halfway down a set of stairs in his underwear and said he spotted an intruder breaking through a steel doorway between an attached room and a garage.

The intruder didn't see Hanson, who darted back upstairs, put on his boots and pants and grabbed a 9 mm pistol. He dashed downstairs and out a door before confronting the intruder. Hanson said he followed the man who fled about 40 feet and stopped at a 6-foot fence.

"Stop!" Hanson yelled. "I have a gun. Just stay. Get back here!"

The intruder turned and approached Hanson, who said he feared for his life. Hanson fired his gun. The man collapsed and died in the grass about 2:45 a.m. More...

I heard on the TV last night that Hanson will not be charged with any crimes. The gun was taken ONLY to verify it was the gun used in the shooting.

They should parade the dead thugs body down Euclid Ave. and let all the thugs see first hand how the Castle Doctrine works.

Girlieman of the Week - Malcom Hoenlein

From Politically Incorrect Gazette --

Girlieman of the Week
Date Awarded: September 20, 2008

Girlieman: Malcom Hoenlein
Girlie Antics: Craven Cowardice

Malcom Hoenlein’s stationary reads ‘CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations'. Based on his spineless antics, this week, and his unconditional surrender to partisan party politics, he should change it to ‘the Gutless Wonder Cringing At The Feet of the Presidents of Major DEMONCRAT American Jewish Organizations’.

Malcom’s outpost of the DNC hit the news, when it started promoting a rally, that is scheduled for Monday September 22, to protest Iranian president Mahmoud al-Gilligan Ahmadinejad. Among those scheduled to speak at the rally are ‘many ethnic and religious leaders and dignitaries from the U.S. and abroad’. The two scheduled speakers, who elicited the biggest buzz, were Comrade Hillary Clinton and Sarah ‘The Barracuda’ Palin. Now, thanks to the pressure Messiah Barry Obama and his acolytes put on Malcom, neither will appear.

First, Messiah Barry coerced Comrade Hillary into backing out of what would be a joint appearance with Sarah Palin. That left Sarah as the last woman standing, a situation that sent Malcom and his partisan pissants into a frenzy. In record time, spouting bullshit about the message of the rally being lost in the media frenzy, Malcom yanked Sarah Palin’s invitation.

Thanks to this gutless wonder, Malcom Hoenlein, the message of the rally came through loud and clear: "You have nothing to fear from our cabal, Mahmoud, because, the last time we checked, you’re not - GASP - a REPUBLICAN." Thanks to Malcom, Mahmoud gets a good laugh. Thanks to Malcom, his rally has been exposed for what it really is. It's another Obamaton rally, being stage managed by some off the cliff lefty groups, who don’t take a crap without prior, written, approval from Messiah Barry Obama and his toadies on the Democratic National Committee.

You’re a craven coward, Malcom. The dude you're claiming to protest, Mahmoud al-Gilligan, is a raving, nuclear-armed, lunatic, but at least he’s a MAN, which is more than I can say for you. If you had a full set of nads, you’d cut the crap and admit that your organization is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Demoncrat Party. For being such a mealy-mouthed jelly spined asshole, you, Malcom Hoenlein, are the Politically Incorrect Gazette’s Girlieman of the Week.

Former Cuyahoga County Recorder Plea Agreement on Obsecnity Charges Rejected

It looks like the case against Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason's buddy - former Cuyahoga County Recorer Pat O'Malley - isn't going so well. Well, at least for him.

Everyone was curious about the content of O'Malleys computer -

.... court officials have found that the material on the computer "portrays a sadistic or machochistic [sic] conduct or other depictions of violence," according to a filing in court Thursday.which will come out

In a plea agreement yet to be approved, O'Malley was facing a 10-16 month sentence or possibly just probation. Hmm, I guess the offer of probation was because of his stellar career and lack of any previous trouble. LOL Just had to slide that in there!

While O'Malley has been awaiting sentencing and threatening the Solon Police in his spare time, the courts just did something very rare - they are giving O'Malley a chance to change his plea.

It appears Judge Dowd feels the proposed terms do not fit the severity of the case and attempts on limiting his authority in sentencing....

From the PD --

The description of the material came in a ruling by Judge David Dowd of the U.S. District Court in Cleveland.

In the ruling, Dowd scheduled a special hearing Monday to let O'Malley change his plea in light of the longer possible sentence.

Changing a plea is not normally allowed, Dowd noted in the ruling, but O'Malley was not properly informed in May that his guilty plea could not be withdrawn or that Dowd could give a heavier sentence than reached in the plea agreement.

Because the plea agreement does not word sentence terms as just recommendations to the judge, Dowd ruled Thursday that O'Malley's earlier plea was "flawed." More...

Jones Day Law Firm Sues Internet Site

Here is another case bloggers and websites will be watching closely.

The law firm of Jones Day is upset that a realty-based website, Block Shoppers, has linked to their website without permission.

Block Shoppers posts information about real estate transactions that are easily obtainable through simple Internet searches. I wonder if the asshats at Jones Day will be suing Al Gore? After all he did invent the Internet.

Anyway, after listing the condo purchases of two Jones Day attorneys, Block Shoppers was told by the high-priced ambulance cha$ers that they better remove the link and they better stop writing about any attorneys in their firm. Furthermore, Jones Day told Block Shoppers - so the firm does not pursue this in court, a check in the amount of $10,000 should be enough to forget this perceived transgression.

The boneheaded barristers began their goose-stepping, Nazi-like suppression of free speech and filed suit against Block Shoppers after the site refused to be extorted by the jugheads at Jones Day.

Seeing that the pain in the rear - Free Speech - thing might come into play the litigating leeches are trying to hang the suit on an intellectually vacuous argument of infringement.

From the PD --
BlockShopper founder Brian Timpone said the company rejected a Jones Day offer to drop the claim if BlockShopper paid $10,000 and stopped writing about property transactions by Jones Day lawyers. Timpone said that would mean abandoning constitutional rights and undercutting BlockShopper's business model.

The lawsuit says BlockShopper creates the false impression that Jones Day is affiliated with the real estate site. It claims the use of Jones Day's name "is likely to deceive and cause confusion and mistake among customers."

Jones Day also raises an argument for "dilution," a term in intellectual property law that can mean a trademark has been "blurred ... creating noise around a mark that lessens its ability to function," said Jacqueline Lipton, who specializes in Internet law at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. More...

It should be noted - in the online article the panty waists at the PD have a link to BlockShopper but not JONES DAY.

Jim Trakas Hosts Town Hall on Jump-Starting Cleveland’s Economy
Congressional Candidate Touts Region’s Historic Successes and Future Promise

MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OHIO – Former State Representative and Congressional candidate Jim Trakas presented his plan on Wednesday evening for strengthening Northeast Ohio ’s economy at a town hall forum attended by residents of Greater Cleveland’s southwestern suburbs. Speaking to a full room at the Middleburg Heights Community Center during the first in a series of town hall events to be held throughout the 10th District over the next six weeks, Trakas highlighted actions he will take as Congressman to expand job opportunities through economic development initiatives for the region and new “Smart Trade” policy for the nation.

“The people of the 10th District deserve a representative who will focus his attention on the economic needs of our Greater Cleveland,” said Trakas. “I will fight every day to improve our regional economy by helping to create an environment that fosters job creation through lower taxes, less regulation, and trade policies that level the playing field for American workers. It is time to discard the failed ‘blame-others-first’ economic policy Congressman Kucinich has used during his 12 years in Washington and replace it with real solutions that leverage the strengths of Northeast Ohio , a magnet for legal immigrants from around the world, a center for innovation and technology, and a hub for manufacturing new products in this new century.”

The Trakas Economic Plan takes aim at the punitive tax, regulatory, and trade policies that have devastated Cleveland ’s economy. The plan, a top priority of the broader Trakas Plan for Northeast Ohio , includes the following solutions to get our regional and national economy back on the right track:
  • Simplify the tax code, reduce corporate taxes, and eliminate the estate tax, all of which are impediments to job creation;

  • Reform regulations to make it easier to hire Americans and make products in America, as regulation and taxation account for 30 percent of the cost of American-made manufactured products, hurting both consumers and sometimes driving jobs out of America;

  • Implement “Smart Trade” policy to eliminate trading with cheaters and encourage trade partners to buy American goods;

  • Establish “Manufacturing Coming Home Zones,” designating 10th District cities for special manufacturing companies to return to Cleveland from overseas to set up shop in zones of minimal regulation, reduced taxation, and environmentally production; and

  • Encourage personal savings by eliminating the tax on checking and savings accounts for people making less than $200,000 a year – a double income tax that punishes investment.

During a wide-ranging dialogue with residents, Trakas also spoke of the roles energy, education , and immigration reform can play in revitalizing Northeast Ohio ’s economy. Trakas pledged that his tenure in Congress would focus on bringing Cleveland its “fair share” of economic development grants and other federal funding to help kick start the region’s economy, spur job creation, and encourage innovation.

“Made in America is possible again, and Greater Cleveland can return to being a manufacturing giant while growing into a technology center for the 21st century,” stated Trakas. “We need a Congressman who is willing and able to build coalitions with the diverse interests that make up our region. In Congress, I will partner with corporations, small businesses, management, and labor to create jobs once again in our communities. Working together, we can accomplish great things for our city.”

Steaming Load Award: A smoke and mirrors ‘energy bill’ that doesn’t produce any new energy resources.

From Politically Incorrect Gazette --

Steaming Load #1: A smoke and mirrors ‘energy bill’ that doesn’t produce any new energy resources.

Proving they have a sick sense of humor, San Fran Nan Pelosi, and the Marxist rat bastards who infest the Demoncrat majority in the U. S. House, passed a ‘drilling bill’, that sets a new low for Legicrat bait and switch.
  • It imposes a permanent ban on drilling, where we have proven oil reserves - within 50 miles of the American coastline.

  • It allows drilling beyond 50 miles, where there are fewer known deposits, but the fine print makes it damn near impossible for any oil company to surmount all the bureaucratic hurdles.

  • Since adventurous oil companies that are willing to try their luck in the 50 to 100 mile region need prior state approval, San Fran Nan made it virtually to impossible, by abolishing the oil royalty sharing plan that pumps money into state coffers.

  • Determined to deny oil companies the money they need to mount oil exploration programs, San Fran Nan’s assault on energy production revokes $18 billion in tax breaks for oil companies over a 5-year period. Furthermore, it digs deep into certain oil companies' bank accounts, by making them pony up billions in oil royalties that weren’t forked over, due to a contractual ‘error’ made by the Interior Department.

San Fran Nan thinks she can flim-flam the American voter with this phony oil drilling bill. She’s hoping everyone is too stupid to realize that her drilling bill takes proven oil reserves out of production, permanently. She hopes we won't notice the way she is looting the oil companies to deny them the money they need to find, and develop, new oil reserves. Instead of paving the way to energy independence for America, she’s erecting new barriers.

I’ve had it with this botox bitch. How much longer must we watch her dismantle our inalienable liberty before we say ‘enough already’? How much longer must we put up with her, before somebody does what needs to be done? When will some patriotic, rugged, American individual ram a grenade up the Marxist bitch’s lying ass, pull the pin, and tell her, "Kiss your rancid ass goodbye, COMRADE?"

A Debate I would Love To See

This would make Must See TV! Iranian President Imachickenhead has challenged John McCain and Barack Obama to a debate.

From Fox News --

"I am ready for a debate with the U.S. presidential candidates over global issues in the presence of the media at the U.N. headquarters,” Ahmadinejad said at a press conference in Tehran. "I have no plans in my schedule to meet with U.S. politicians.”

"Last year, I said I was ready to meet with [President George W.] Bush. But now he is at the end of his term and [a meeting] will not impact our relations and future," Ahmadinejad told AFP. More...

Since this would not be the same as going to Iran and meeting Imachickenhead I think they should do it.

Of course that would be if Obama would not wuss out like he did with McCain on the Town Hall Debates. Of course having a world stage to expand the reach of his cult-like following would be tempting but there would have to be conditions...
  • Questions must be nice softballs able to be answered by rhetoric, the words "Change" or "Hope," or phrase - "John McCain is like George Bush."

  • Questions must be submitted for approval

  • The use of an "Obamaprompter" is allowed.

  • Approved questions must be submitted 2hrs prior to debate for entry of answers into "Obamaprompter."

  • All fade outs for commercials MUST be of Obama smiling.

  • Answers given in the debate will be clarified (sorta) 2 weeks after the debate through press releases.

I could just imagine the look on Imachickenheads face after Obama side-stepped, waffled, and flip-flopped and uh-uh'd his way through the debate.

Oh boy! Could you imagine if the 'Obamaprompter' had a Joe "Stand up Chuck" Biden moment and went on the fritz? Or maybe Hillary, there to show her support, accidentally pulls the plug?

Looking into a blank "Obamaprompter,"Obama would look like a momma cow staring down at her dead calf. Barack O'Blankstare would wade into to an answer with one too many "Hopes."

After Imachikenhead shook the Obama inspired dumbfounded look off his face he would respond with - "WTF are you talking about 'Hope'? You better 'Hope' our nukes don't reach Israel."

McCain would just stand there and smile. When it was his turn he would just look at Imachickenhead and pointing to a smiling Barack - "You better 'Hope' he gets elected."

9th Circuit Finally Gets One Right!

Who would have thought the clowns from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals would ever make a good decision?!?

From ALIPAC --

A federal appeals court has upheld Arizona's employer sanctions law, which penalizes businesses that knowingly hire illegal immigrants and requires them to verify the employment status of their workers.

The law imposes a civil penalty on businesses that knowingly hire illegal workers. Violating the law could cause a business's licenses to be suspended or revoked.

Rep. Russell Pearce, who spearheaded the effort to enact a state law to punish businesses for hiring illegal immigrants, called the ruling a victory.

"You know what? Even the 9th Circuit gets things right every once in a while. What a great ruling," he said. More....

Joe Bidenhood - Steal From the Rich and his "Keep it for ourself Democrats"

Considering that the founding fathers rebelled against England formed a new country, in part because of an increasing tax burden, I wonder if they would consider paying higher taxes patriotic?

From
Yahoo News --
Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden said Thursday that paying more in taxes is the patriotic thing to do for wealthier Americans. The Republican campaign for president calls the tax increases their Democratic opponents propose "painful" instead of patriotic.

Under the economic plan proposed by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, people earning more than $250,000 a year would pay more in taxes while those earning less — the vast majority of American taxpayers — would receive a tax
cut.

"We want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people," Biden said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: "It's time to be patriotic ... time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut." More...
Did Bidenhood of the dark liberal entitlement forest just say people making less than $250,000 are unpatriotic?

US Embassy in Yemen Attacked

Once again that great religion (cult) of peace spreads their joy...

From National Terror Alert --
Islamist militants attacked the US embassy in the Yemeni capital Sanaa with a car bomb and rockets on Wednesday, leaving 16 people dead, in the second strike on the high-security compound in six months.

No American personnel were reported injured.

The Islamic Jihad of Yemen claimed responsibility for the attack, saying they did it as result of U.S.-Yemen ties and cooperation. Internet forums also cited religious leaders that in the last few weeks called for jihad to start in Yemen. More...

Seven Hills Mayor Sues Scene Magazine and Anonymous Blogger

Seven Hills Mayor David Bentkowski is suing Scene magazine and an anonymous local blogger that blogs from the site - Political Science 216.

I am usually one who believes most people sue because they had their feelings hurt and get an ambulance cha$ing attorney willing to sue over something stupid. I do not know if this is the case in this situation.

Bentkowski has supeoned Google for the bloggers identity. The blogger has accused Bentkowski of being a pervert - but has nothing to back up the claims other than speculation. Scene Magazine just rode the Mayor a little and made some off color remarks.

In my opinion Scene did nothing wrong except have fun and made innocent remarks about Bentkowski and accused him of not allowing residents to talk at meetings. Scene "started" on Bentkowski after he sent a letter meant for younger residents of the city and claimed he had the "political IQ of Quiznos' lettuce."

On the other hand the anonymous blogger from Political Science 216 took it a little bit further...

From the PD --
The letter states that the information will help the city notify young residents of activities that might be of interest to them. "For example," Bentkowski wrote. "If you have an 18-year-old daughter, we can invite her to participate in the Miss Seven Hills Pageant."

The blogger charged that Bentkowski would use the information to meet young women, likening him to sexual predators arrested on "Dateline NBC's" "To Catch a Predator" series. The blogger even included a photograph of the show's host, Chris Hansen, interviewing a suspected sexual predator.

Bentkowski demanded the blogger remove the material immediately.

Instead, the blogger asked readers to vote on whether Bentkowski should be dethroned as the "sexiest male politician in Greater Cleveland," a title that readers conferred upon the mayor earlier that year.

The blogger's reason for ousting Bentkowski? Because he "has been acting like a pervert lately." More...

So was this anonymous blogger excercising his right to free speech or did he cross the line making unsubstantiated comments?

Pakistan Army given green light to attack U.S. Troops

In response to President Bush giving secret orders for cross border attacks in Pakistan on any terrorist elements - the Pakistani poppy heads respond by giving their soldiers permission to attack U.S. troops...

From National Terror Alert --
Pakistan’s military ordered its forces Tuesday to take the offensive if U.S. troops launch another air or ground raid across the Afghan border, an army spokesman said.

The orders, which come in response to a highly unusual Sept. 3 ground attack by U.S. commandos, are certain to heighten tensions between Washington and a key ally against terrorism. Although the ground attack was rare, there have been repeated reports of U.S. drone aircraft striking militant targets, most recently on Sept. 12.

I guess this is how the Pakistani's are going to help us.... their troops will now become target practice for our fine soldiers.

Cuyahoga County Commissioner Candidate Debbie Sutherland supporters should be grateful for PD Endorsement

The following is a letter to the editor in yesterday’s Rag Dealer (Plain Dealer)....

Endorsement of Sutherland for Cuyahoga County commissioner merited more enthusiasm - letter to the editor

Monday, September 15, 2008

I have read with interest and disgust over the last few months about the lack of accountability and corruption in county government. The Plain Dealer has done a terrific job of investigating and analyzing the antics of several of its members. I was happy to see your endorsement of Deborah Sutherland for Cuyahoga County commissioner. However, I was disappointed that it seemed half-hearted.

If Cuyahoga County continues to allow one party to run its government, it will never realize any accountability and will continue to see waste and corruption. After grabbing our attention with “County in crisis,” it seems to me that you would be more serious about making a change.

Gina Luketic
North Canton --end letter--

There are a couple items in this letter that I would like to comment but first want to get the following out of the way… Ms. Luketic should worry about her town of North Canton and not Cuyahoga County.

Now in specifically addressing her temper tantrum and whine that the Rag Dealer’s endorsement of Bay Village Mayor Deborah Sutherland for Cuyahoga County Commissioner was not sufficient and half-hearted. Maybe Luketic thought bells & whistles should have accompanied the endorsement. Possibly even a back flip and a little Obama-like praise should have been showered on the candidate for which Luketic will not even be able to vote.

Luketic’s letter clearly shows her lack of knowledge regarding Cuyahoga County and an absolute lack of political acumen. In her letter she states --

If Cuyahoga County continues to allow one party to run its government....

Really? Continues to allow? What choice do the voters have Ms. Luketic?

I wonder if Luketic is aware that for a two party county to exist, there needs to be another party? Another party that has the desire, the structure, quality candidates and the leadership needed to be effective. Due to the fact that an effective party does not exist – your request for accountability will go unheard.

It should come as no surprise that pretty much the ONLY reason Sutherland got the endorsements is because –
  • She supported the forced tax increase for the $1 Billion Med/Mart Convention Center the Greater Cleveland Partnership, the Plain Dealer & Commissioner Tim Hagan wanted. She served these parties well as a cheerleader for support in her role as leader of the Cuyahoga County Mayors & City Managers Association.

  • She supported and is again a cheerleader for Commissioner Tim Hagan, the Plain Dealer, and The Greater Cleveland Partnership for the county reform. This county reform referendum would consolidate the control of now Commissioner Hagan and the same businessmen who have dragged our region to the depths of despair.

  • Decided NOT TO RUN against Commissioner Tim Hagan. Hagan is the acknowledged mouthpiece and serves the interests of the Greater Cleveland Partnership and the Plain Dealer.

So the endorsement is not half-hearted, they felt they owed it to her!

Being a Good Samaritan and caring about her fellow Ohio residents, Luketic voices concern that after writing about the corruption investigation, the PD should be more assertive in their endorsement if they really want change.

Oh really?

First, Luketic must understand that the PD was part of the enabling factor in this corruption.

Did the PD ever challenge or write objectively about the democrats who have controlled our county?

For example, many of the people highlighted in the patronage article about Auditor Russo worked there for many years. How come only now the PD brings this up? Were they sleeping, not doing their job or just shilling for the local democrats that they helped keep in power?

Now lets address her “change” for change’s sake….

What will this change bring? Nothing if the wrong commissioner up for reelection is targeted?

Being 3 commissioners, a 2-1 vote carries any motion or legislation. With the current cabal of commissioners the vote on many of the issues and projects, ( funding for Med Mart/Convention Center, forced sales tax increase, Ameritrust Complex, Asbestos abatement at Ameritrust complex, Juvenile Justice Center, and Illegal voting contracts), being questioned were 2-1.

The lone opposing vote on many of the issues being questioned and that Sutherland is campaigning on, is cast by Commissioner Peter Lawson Jones. So why would she not run against Hagan? Hagan is more often than not the brainchild on many of the issues she is campaigning against and the crux of the troubles facing Cuyahoga County residents today.

So let’s do the math….

Currently we have one Cuyahoga County Commissioner who votes for the best interests of the residents. That vote is usually over ridden in a 2-1 vote.

Ok – now for the so-called change for improvement…. The one commissioner voting in the best interest of the residents loses and is replaced by Sutherland. Sutherland claims she will vote for the best interests of the residents… (forget her support of the forced sales tax increase and the Med Mart/Convention Center for now). Ok so now we have our change – or do we?

The vote would still remain 2-1 – NO CHANGE!

This of course would only be IF Sutherland really is the voice of change. SO far her actions don’t prove it! In her own words Sutherland stated she supported the forced sales tax increase and $1 Billion Med Mart/Convention Center because – “Tim Hagan worked so hard on it.” So, the vote for the forced sales tax increase would have been 3-0 had Sutherland been commissioner.

One thing we learned here is that Ms. Luketic needs to be more politically astute. A math class or two, maybe even a beginners Poly Sci class would not hurt either. Would our party and the voters not be better served if someone did the right thing and run against Hagan – the one commissioner who routinely ignores what is best for the voters?

While Sutherland would not win against Hagan (and she has a better chance of seeing God than she has of beating PLJ too) but all the democrats in this area would see someone, a Republican, is standing up for what is right and what is best for them - the voters.

Don’t think a democrat will vote for a Republican in Cuyahoga County? Check the records they do and they will – if they have a reason.

Don’t mistakenly think that I don't believe we need change – we desperately do! But until the RPCC begins to lead with integrity and we find good candidates willing to run for the right reason (just winning is not the right reason), nothing will change.

The way for change is not through indebted endorsements from the Rag Dealer. The way for change is showing the residents of this county that there are leaders with integrity. Show them that there are leaders who will stand up for what is right. We cannot afford any more political mouthpieces serving the best interest of those that have screwed the residents for so long.

Supporting everything and/or being silent on everything until it is politically expediant to complain about it is not being a leader. It is an insult to the residents of this county when someone who had the position and the forum to speak out about these ills we face, only speaks out after nothing can be done.

Until we, the RPCC, as a party begin ridding ourselves of the social club members that have infected our ranks there will be no change. Until we, the RPCC, as a party begin standing for what is right and not what will serve the best personal interests of a few party members nothing will change. Until a concerted effort is made to reintroduce the RPCC to the voters, and educate the voters of Cuyahoga County of who we are and for what we stand, we will continue to lose elections.

What Ms. Luketic fails to see is that we, the RPCC and our leaders, have given the voters nothing. We have not stood up for what is right and defended them against corruption and lack of accountability. We as a party have not held the democrats accountable. So all the voters see is more of the same – politicians willing to say or do anything for a vote. In Cuyahoga County that does not bode well for Republicans or the future of our party.

While I am not submitting this post to the Rag Dealer, I have a funny feeling that "Ms. Luketic" will see my remarks. I would like to ask her the following –

  • Are you aware the RPCC Chairman Rob Frost not only condones, but heaps praise on party members who make monetary donations to democrat candidates over Republican candidates? This would be considered a direct violation of our by-laws and grounds for disciplinary proceedings - not a reason to be celebrated!

  • Are you aware that against the wishes of RPCC members, that Chairman Frost, with the support and at the urging of the candidate that Ms. Luketic requests back flips for, pulled party support for requesting the forced sales tax increase for the $1 Billion Med Mart/Convention Center be put on the ballot?

Yes Ms. Luketic – the budget crisis our county faces must have just came up in the last week or so. Things like a predicted $38 Million shortage in 10 yrs always pop out of the blue. But when we are facing a budget crisis - why shouldn’t the county leaders, namely the unopposed Commissioner Tim Hagan, with the support of her “Lets do back flips” candidate, forcefully impose a sales tax increase and spend more county money for a pipe dream of a project?

  • Are you aware Ms. Luketic that the so-called leaders of the RPCC had intentions of asking the rank and file to nominate a registered democrat to run for a judges seat?

  • Are you aware that when many of the things you imply are the reason for Cuyahoga County’s woes were introduced – many of the RPCC sat silent?

  • Are you aware the that the one Republican County Chairman with probably the worst record of getting candidates elected is one of the very, very few chairman who take a salary? This salary could go towards helping candidates and making the change you requested and we need.

So until we clean up our house, take out the trash, begin doing things for the right reason and stop supporting candidates that do not advance our party or improve the lives of Cuyahoga county voters – we cannot force the democrats to be accountable. Until WE give the voters a reason to vote for another candidate – there will be one party rule.

Without having a firm grasp and understanding of the issues, for not being able to think on her own, for advancing talking points of the GCP and NOT having the support of rank & file RPCC members - Ms. Luketic should be grateful that the Rag Dealer is again not requiring candidates too earn their endorsements and are just handing them out to some candidates!
