Franken Wins Minnesota Senate Race

How's this for a kick in the conservative cookies! Beaten by a washed-up SNL comedian turned liberal talk show host!

From Yahoo News --

Democrat Al Franken will be declared the winner of the tight U.S. Senate contest in Minnesota, emerging from a ballot recount with a slim margin over Republican Norm Coleman, state officials said on Sunday.

But Coleman, the incumbent, has asked Minnesota's supreme court to require that a few hundred additional absentee ballots be included in the recount -- and he could then ask the court to investigate the contest all over again.

"At the moment, Franken has a 225-vote lead," after the weekend counting of what were deemed the last uncounted absentee ballots, said Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, a Democrat who oversaw the process.

Senate Republicans have pledged not to seat Franken provisionally while the race is still in doubt. Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer of New York urged that Franken be seated, which would expand the party's majority to 58 of the 100 members. More...

Please no comments how Franken stole the election from Coleman because of a Democrat was Secretary of State. Coleman should be ashamed that Franken even made it a race!

Girlieman of the Week - John McCain

As much as it pains me to post this - I could not agree more! John McCain did not run as the Real McCain.

Plus I figure if I did not post this Hambo & Porcus would dispatch Spike the Wonder Tyke to come over and kick me in my "Obama" - thus causing my "Biden's" to spin like the electric meter at Al "The Energy Whore" Gore's house!

From Politically Incorrect Gazette --

Girliemen of the Week

Date Awarded: November 07, 2008
Girlieman: John McCain
Antics: Came to a political knife fight, unarmed.

Four decades ago, John McCain demonstrated a level of courage and devotion to this once great nation that was heroism on a mind-boggling scale. He proved, conclusively, that he’s got a deep reservoir of courage at his disposal. He has the stones to swim against the tide, a trait which earned him the label ‘maverick’, which he wears with so much pride. He had the stones to stay in the Oval Office hunt, during the Elephant Clan primary, when everyone counted him out.

Like I said, McCain has guts, and is up for a fight, but that brings us to the burning question. Where was all this grim determination...where was all this "I’ll get the job done, no matter what it takes" when he really needed it? Where was his fighting spirit when it came to the General Election?

He proved that he was willing to pull out all the stops, when he was fighting that uphill battle for his party’s nomination. Unfortunately, his mind turned to mush, his spine turned into jello, when he faced off with a Dumbo-eared Marxist Messiah named Barry. Cowed by this upstart, McCain played Charlie Brown to Obama’s Lucy and let himself be suckered, repeatedly, when Obama kept yanking that political football out of reach at the last possible minute.

That dauntless, bloodied, but unbowed, warrior John McCain would have kicked Barry’s skinny ass. Unhappily, that’s not the McCain who entered the General Election arena. Instead, we got a weary warrior who never seemed to understand the folly of showing up for a political knife fight unarmed, when your opponent shows up with a machete.

Naval aviator John McCain is a hero and I salute him for it. Presidential Candidate McCain expected America to hand him the presidency on a silver platter, and he got his ass kicked. If he didn’t really want the job - that’s the way he ran his campaign - why didn’t he have the spine to move aside and let someone more highly motivated take on the Messiah Barry juggernaut?

That’s why, for refusing to take the gloves off and fight for that top job...for refusing to expose Messiah Barry as the most dangerously incompetent individual who ever ran for president...for failing to put it all on the line in defense of this once great nation, the way he did four decades ago, John McCain is the Politically Incorrect Gazette’s Girlieman of the Week.

Senate Conservatives Fund Statement on 2008 Elections

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wednesday, November 5, 2008

Contact: Wesley Denton, (202) 470-3503

SCF Statement on 2008 Senate Elections
Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) Calls for Conservative Leadership

Alexandria, VA - November 5, 2008 - Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) Chairman, U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina), made the following statement Wednesday regarding the outcome of the 2008 U.S. Senate elections.

Time for Conservative Leadership

"Republicans in the Senate suffered major losses last night because they failed to stand up for conservative principles over the last two years. Rather than opposing the big government policies promoted by congressional Democrats and the White House, many Republicans chose to play it safe, blend in, and compromise again and again. Rather than working together to create a compelling message based on conservative principles, Republicans backed a trillion dollar bailout and continued to support wasteful earmark spending. This strategy is exactly what cost Republicans control of Congress in 2006 and now it has forced the GOP deep into the political wilderness.

"Republicans have now lost a dozen Senate seats in just two years, which is completely unacceptable. The time for excuses is over. Millions of conservative, freedom-loving Americans do not want their representatives in Washington to be a permanent minority. We need more conservative leaders in the Senate who will boldly stand up for our security, our economic freedom, and our values. We need more conservative leaders who will do everything in their power to stop President-elect Obama and the Democrats in Congress from taking away our freedom with socialist policies. We need more leaders who will put the interests of the American people ahead of their own political careers.

"Senate Conservatives Fund is dedicated to electing principled leaders to the Senate and it will continue to support only the most rock-solid conservative Senate candidates nationwide.

SCF Scores 3 Wins, Suffers 2 Losses

"I want to congratulate Senator Jeff Sessions in Alabama, Senator John Cornyn in Texas, and Lieutenant Governor Jim Risch in Idaho on their victories tonight. They are strong conservatives who will strengthen the United States Senate, and I'm glad Senate Conservatives Fund was able to play a part in helping get them elected.

"I also want to extend my regrets to former Congressman Bob Schaffer in Colorado and Congressman Steve Pearce in New Mexico. They both ran principled campaigns and I hope we see more of them in the future."

"Finally, I want to thank all those who supported Senate Conservatives Fund this year. They helped elect several great Senate candidates who I know will make them very proud in the years to come."

Black Voters discriminate against John McCain & Homo's

This is truly a historic time in the life of our country - affirmative action and the civil rights movement for blacks is over. It has now been established that racism from whites towards blacks is minimal at best. But while this is a joyous time it has also exposed another racist problem this country faces - black racism towards whites and queers.

Most blacks voted for Obama BECAUSE of the color of his skin - not the content of him as a person. So this would mean they voted against McCain BECAUSE of the color of his skin. That a person be judged for his character and not his color was the real dream of Martin Luther King - not the raping of the American dream as we witnessed yesterday.

The other troubling thing exposed yesterday is the discrimination of homo's by the black voters...

From Yahoo News --

Voters put a stop to same-sex marriage in California, dealing a crushing defeat to gay-rights activists in a state they hoped would be a vanguard, and putting in doubt as many as 18,000 same-sex marriages conducted since a court ruling made them legal this year.

The gay-rights movement had a rough election elsewhere as well Tuesday. Ban-gay-marriage amendments were approved in Arizona and Florida, and Arkansas voters approved a measure banning unmarried couples from serving as adoptive or foster parents. Supporters made clear that gays and lesbians were their main target.

Exit polls for The Associated Press found that Proposition 8 received critical support from black voters who flocked to the polls to support Barack Obama for president. Blacks voted strongly in favor of the ban, while whites narrowly opposed it and Latinos and Asians were split. More...

The Saddest Day in the History of The United States

I never thought I would be saying this.... I am embarrassed, ashamed and disgusted of what our country has become.

That a person who does not honor or believe in our founding documents, that a person who's every fiber goes against what this once great nation stood for and was built on, has been elected to lead our country.

This will truly be known as the saddest day in the history of The United States....

From Breitbart --
His name etched in history as America's first black president, Barack Obama turned from the jubilation of victory to the sobering challenge of leading a nation worried about economic crisis, two unfinished wars and global uncertainty.

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. More...

What Obama is really saying about Hope & Change

From Hambo's Hammer at PIG --

Hope & Change

Here's what Messiah Barry Obama really means when he casts his hypnotic "hope" and "change" spell.

"If you always hoped you could change the U. S. Constitution from the solid foundation of our liberty into an obscure ‘where has it gone’ historical footnote, I’m your man."

"If you always hoped you could change ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’ into ‘from each according to his ability, to each according to his need’, I’m your man."

"If you always hoped you could change inalienable individual liberty into the shackles of Nanny State slavery, I’m your man."

"If you always hoped you could change American prosperity into abject poverty, I’m your man."

"If you always hoped you could change America’s military might into defenselessness, I’m your man."

"If you always hoped you could change success and achievement from virtues into vices, I’m your man."

"If you always hoped you could change America into an impoverished, enslaved, defenseless nation, I’m your man."

"If you always hoped you could change Jihad Jimmy Carter from the worst president in American history into ‘the good old days’, I’m your man."

Parting shot: If you think getting Messiah Barry into the White House looked, hard, you ain't seen nothing, yet. Hard is trying to get this Marxist bastard out again. He's already told us what he thinks of the United States Constitutiton. Were you paying attention, 8 years isn't a lifetime Sparky?

Obama Abandons his Relatives and Wants US to be their Keepers

Well how about this! Obama's Aunt Zeituni is living here illegally and in public housing.

I guess since his brother lives in a tin shack and his Aunt is living off of us - he really is NOT his brothers keeper or his aunts for that matter. In his share the wealth plan - WE - are his brother and aunts keeper!

From ALIPAC --
She attended Obama's swearing-in to the U.S. Senate in 2004, but campaign officials said Obama provided no assistance in getting her a tourist visa and doesn't know the details of her stay. The campaign said he last heard from her about two years ago when she called saying she was in Boston, but he did not see her there.

Onyango was instructed to leave the country by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP. This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango's case.

In Boston, Lydia Agro, communications director for the Housing Authority, said Onyango had been screened and approved for public housing as an "eligible non-citizen" when she moved in in 2003. She said the authority is not notified of deportation orders and did not know Onyango was related to Obama until two days ago. More...

Report clears Palin in Troopergate investigation

How convienent for this to come out the night before the election!

From Yahoo News --

Gov. Sarah Palin violated no ethics laws when she fired her public safety commissioner, the state personnel board concluded in a report released Monday. "There is no probable cause to believe that the governor, or any other state official, violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with these matters," the report says. More....

Dead Voters, Homeless Voters & Brunner's love for Obama's Nuts

H/T to Interested Participant for this one.

IP notes -

Previously, investigators found 13,000 dead voters registered in Cuyahoga County and more than two dozen cast ballots. Elections officials said that dead people would be removed from the rolls.

Nevertheless, investigators have found thousands more dead voters on the rolls with their ballots still being cast from the grave.

From News Net 5 --

Among the thousands of graves at Highland Park Cemetery, one modest tombstone stands out.

Alex Holmes Sr. has been at rest in that cemetery for 15 years. But recent election records show he cast a ballot in this year's primary.

And our 5 On Your Side investigation found a home on Cleveland's east side listed as Holmes' address.

Jeremy Moore, Holmes' grandson, was stunned.

"He's deceased. Deceased since 1993," Moore said.

And it doesn't appear to be a name mix-up.

Records reveal Alex Holmes Jr. -- who is still alive -- voted in the same election as his deceased father.

Cuyahoga County Elections Director Jane Platten said she'll look in to it.

I have always said Brunnehilda's main mission was to STEAL the election for whomever their candidate would be. Besides the homeless being allowed to vote without ID or an address and wanting prisoners to vote - Cuyahoga County now has dead people voting!

For more on Brunnehilda's shady tactics Maggie at Thurber's Thoughts shows a clear link between Brunnehilda & her love for Obama's nuts - ACORN.

Think Before You Vote!

From Politically Incorrect Gazette (from Swine Flu)

'Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!

I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!

On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi'
He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

Elect Judge Kathleen Ann Sutula for Cuyahoga County Probate Court

Elect Judge Kathleen Ann Sutula
for
Cuyahoga County Probate Court

As we all know it is very important to keep and to advance good judges. This is why it is imperative to elect Judge Kathleen Ann Sutula for Cuyahoga County Probate Court.

Through her hard work, dedication and sound judicial decisions after serving 17 yrs on the Common Pleas Court, Judge Sutula is one judge we can say has truly served the best interests of Cuyahoga County residents.

Judge Sutula has been endorsed not only by the Plain Dealer but many police & firefighters throughout the county. Not to mention the many ethnic groups and many of the labor unions.

Judge Sutula has presided over some very high profile cases such as, the drunk driving lady who drove 13 miles the wrong way on the highway killing a newlywed couple; the lawyer who stole over $5 million from the estates of working class people; and the pedophile who wanted to start his own church to offer a safe haven for child molesters. In each of these cases Judge Sutula did the right thing in protecting the residents interests and had these people placed in the gray bar hotel for a very, very long time.

Judge Sutula’s opponent is playing the typical Cuyahoga County “name game.” Judge Sutula’s opponent while having the last name Gallagher is NOT a judge and is not related to any judges. In fact, twice Cuyahoga County voters have rejected this Gallagher in her previous unsuccessful attempts at becoming a judge. Now she wants to try a third time.

We cannot afford someone without any judicial experience presiding over the delicate type of cases handled in Probate Court. By voting for Judge Kathleen Ann Sutula you will be electing a proven entity that has humbly and proudly served Cuyahoga County residents.

Elect Judge Kathleen Ann Sutula

Cuyahoga County Probate Court

DO NOT ELECT Annette Butler for Cuyahoga County Prosecutor

It has been brought to our attention that one of our endorsed RPCC candidates has a Barack Obama sign in her yard.

I am tired, no - sick and tired of continually being asked to support candidates that do not support the values, morals and bylaws of our party. Therefore King’s Right Site is rescinding our endorsement of Annette Butler for Cuyahoga County Prosecutor.

Some in our party have expressed hesitation of “outing” Butler so close to the election. Some have voiced concern that maybe the sign is not hers and we should allow her to explain. Rumor has it that Butler claims the sign is not hers and that her daughter placed it in their yard.

Here are some of the comments going around (in blue) and my rebuttal….

'...maybe Annette had no choice and perhaps someone put the sign in her front lawn. I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.'

Give me a break! This is the United States - what choice didn't she have? If someone put the sign in her yard - she could have removed it.

'She could be put in a tough position living on East Blvd.'

Here is where the idiocy shines through - If an Obama sign in her front yard puts her in a tough position because she lives on East Blvd - how will she be able to be tough on crime when some of the people she will prosecute may also live on East Blvd.?

'I know several people who had signs put in their lawns and did not know what to do. One was a Mason sign.'

Mason's munchkins are known for just placing his signs in people yards. This has been a trademark of his for several years. But I must ask are people really that stupid? They did not know what to do when an unwanted sign was placed in their lawn? How about remove it!

Under this ignorant line of thinking - these people would allow a complete stranger to put something in their yard they do not agree with. Yet I bet they would call police if a strange car were parked near their house.

'Certainly we have all contributed to causes we do not believe in...even some of our big GOP contributors.'

Since I have dignity, self-respect, pride, ethics, a spine and a strong desire for being able to look in the mirror and into my sons eyes - I can say I am not one of the "we have all" type people. Again, this goes to what I stated above about the problem with the "sheep" in our party.

How in the hell could someone with even an ounce of integrity and a shred of dignity support something or someone they do not believe in? This is the one reason the RPCC continually puts forth poor candidates - because the "sheep" in our party support things they do not believe in.

Barack Obama's 1/2 HR Spin-mercial: Even MORE Lies Exposed

Now that Barack is getting a little more scrutiny - it becomes more clear that he has a problem with telling the truth. Or maybe is it that some in the MSM are starting to see through his empty message and see him for what he truly is - a silver-tongued, done-good community activist.

Recently Barack has had reporters removed from his plane because they did not subscribe to his socialist "share the wealth" views and their publications endorsed John McCain. An AP writer also questioned the validity of Barack's 30 minute spin-mercial that delayed the World Series.

As many have been saying - when given a hard look Barack offers nothing. There is no substance and the truth is often lacking...

From The Fact Checker --

"For my energy plan, my economic plan, and the other proposals you'll hear tonight, I've offered spending cuts above and beyond their cost."

--Barack Obama infomercial, October 29, 2008

Barack Obama has outlined a series of new spending initiatives ranging from health care to education to the war in Afghanistan that could end up costing $1 trillion over his first term, according to independent experts. In his half-hour infomercial on Wednesday evening, the senator from Illinois repeated earlier assurances that he had "offered spending cuts" to pay for every cent of the post-election bonanza that he plans to shower on his fellow Americans.

Do Obama's figures add up?

The Facts

Obama's claim is artfully worded. Note that, in contrast to his Republican rival, he does not claim that he will balance the federal budget after four years. That seems a virtually impossible task -- given the fact that he wants to extend most of the Bush tax cuts (for everybody making less than $250,000 a year) beyond their expiration date of 2010. The independent Tax Policy Center projects a budget deficit under Obama of $520 billion in 2013, compared to a presently projected deficit of $147 billion.

What Obama does say is that he will pay for his new spending plans with even bigger spending cuts.

Whether you believe that he will deliver on this pledge depends on how much weight you give to politicians' promises that are not supported by detailed explanations of how exactly they will be put into effect. On paper, the Land-of-Lincolner might be correct, says Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, which has analyzed the two candidates' spending plans. By her calculations, Obama has promised $990 billion in new spending over his first four-year term -- to be offset by $989 billion in spending cuts.

The problem, however, says MacGuineas, is that Obama "is very specific on his spending proposals, but much less specific on his savings proposals." Furthermore, the Illinois senator has not made his new spending proposals contingent on securing the corresponding spending cuts.

Put another way, Obama's new spending plans are very concrete: a new College tax credit ($134 billion in 2013), expanded health care coverage ($115 billion), a refundable tax credit for workers ($72 billion). Many of his proposed spending cuts belong to the pie-in-the-sky category.

Take the proposal to cut health care costs by $2,500 per family per year through the adoption of new technologies, improved management techniques, and so on. "That's a real stretch," said John Sheils, senior vice president for the Lewin Group, a consultancy company that has studied the health care plans of the two candidates. By the Lewin Group's calculations, the savings are more likely to be in the region of
$700 per family, based on the plans outlined by the Obama campaign.

"If you are going to be definitive about the savings, you have to be equally definitive
about how you are going to achieve them," said Sheils. He said that Obama had "some interesting ideas" for health care savings, but had failed to outline enforcement mechanisms for patients and medical staff that fail to follow his guidelines.

Similar caveats apply to Obama's other savings promises, including reforming government spending ($17 billion in 2013), elimination of waste and obsolete programs ($50 billion) and a phased withdrawal from Iraq ($156 billion). Some of these cuts will depend on events at least partially outside Obama's control (like the war in Iraq), while others (such as the slashing of earmarks) will require concessions from Congress that no previous president has been able to achieve.

"Every president has a list of programs they would like to eliminate, but every one of those programs has a massive lobbying system in place to preserve it," said Thomas Schatz, president of Citizens Against Government Waste, a taxpayer watchdog group. "Members of Congress will readily create new programs, but they are very reluctant to cut old ones."

Schatz cites the example of Economic Development Administration, which Obama has talked about eliminating. The agency, which has the mission of generating jobs, has been slated for the chopping block for years. When it last came up for re-authorization, in 2004, the House voted 388-31 to keep it. Only one Democrat voted against.

The Pinocchio Test

Promises to cut government spending are pretty much worthless unless accompanied by convincing explanations of how precisely they will be implemented. Obama has failed this basic test. Vague targets are insufficient, particularly when there is no real link between the promised spending cuts and the new spending programs.

Did Iran Test a Nuclear Bomb?

If this is true - all the more reason to elect John McCain.

From Israel Insider --
This past Saturday night, southern Iran experienced what was reported as a significant earthquake - a seismic event measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was just north of the strategic Straits of Hormuz, which separates Iran from Abu Dhabi and Oman and which is the gateway to the Persian Gulf.

The report quotes an Iranian nuclear scientist who claims to be working in uranium enrichment for the project, and who said that the "quake" was acutally an undergound nuclear bomb test.

Israel Insider adds that the test/quake was actually the second in a series. Nine days ago, a 4.8 Richter scale event occurred, with its epicenter only five kilometers away from the weekend tremor.

The Israel Insider source reports that two nuclear rockets are currently ready - and are intended for use against Israel in the coming months. More...

This just keeps making me think about Biden saying how if Barack is elected our country will be tested and that Barack is not ready to lead.

But Biden was clear on who he did feel could lead our country in the trying times we face - John McCain.

Obama Storm Troopers Purge Dissent - Kick reporters off plane

Obama has recently criticized the United States by accusing our country of having Nazi-like policies and tendencies - yet Obama & his campaign staff once again show their brown-shirt, goose-stepping techniques of silencing any dissenting speech.

We all witnessed how the democrats have crucified poor 'Joe the Plumber" and many others for not submitting to the Obama agenda. Anyone who has spoken out against or has questioned Barack's position, policies or platfomr have been subjected to the lefts tactics of suppression.

Some in the MSM are slowly awakening from their stupor and are now finding themselves victims of Barack O-Nazi's brown-shirted storm troopers he calls his campaign staff.

From the Drudge Report --

The Obama campaign has decided to heave out three newspapers from its plane for the final days of its blitz across battleground states -- and all three endorsed Sen. John McCain for president!

The NY POST, WASHINGTON TIMES and DALLAS MORNING NEWS have all been told to move out by Sunday to make room for network bigwigs -- and possibly for the inclusion of reporters from two black magazines, ESSENCE and JET, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

Despite pleas from top editors of the three newspapers that have covered the campaign for months at extraordinary cost, the Obama campaign says their reporters -- and possibly others -- will have to vacate their coveted seats so more power players can document the final days of Sen. Barack Obama's historic campaign to become the first black American president.

Only AFTER the papers endorsed McCain are they left with no seat. Of course the Obama Storm Troopers claim the papers endorsement of McCain had no bearing in their decision. But Washington Times Executive Editor John Solomon would disagree...
The Obama campaign informed The Washington Times Thursday evening of its decision, which came two days after The Times editorial page endorsed Senator John McCain over Mr. Obama. The Times editorial page runs independently of the news department.

"This feels like the journalistic equivalent of redistributing the wealth. We spent hundreds of thousands of dollars covering Senator Obama's campaign, traveling on his plane, and taking our turn in the reporters' pool, only to have our seat given away to someone else in the last days of the campaign," said Washington Times Executive Editor John Solomon. Obama's New "Open Door" Policy for some Reporters

From Americans for Limited Government

Steaming Load Award: Buckeye State Obamunists abuse their authority to dig up dirt on Joe the plumber

From Politically Incorrect Gazette --

Steaming Load #1: Buckeye State Obamunists abuse their authority to dig up dirt on Joe the plumber.

Joe the Plumber’s life changed the instant he blundered into the public eye. ‘Blundered’ is the proper word, since, unannounced, Messiah Barry showed up in Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher’s (Joe the Plumber) neighborhood. During this chance meeting, Joe asked the question which ripped the lid off Messiah Barry’s Stalinistic wealth redistribution scheme. Unfortunately, Joe’s question did more than expose Messiah Barry as a Marxist. It made Joe the target of Obamunist retribution.

The press did their best to make Joe public enemy number 1, and, they seemed amazingly well informed. We know, now, that Buckeye State Obamunist officials used the state’s computer database in a frantic search for dirt on Joe.

The biggest fish who swam into the ‘who did it and why’ net deployed by the Columbus Dispatch newspaper is Helen Jones-Kelley, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. She allowed some state employees to dig into Joe’s records. She insists it was a legit search for relevant child support info, but that won’t pass the smell test, since there aren’t any child-support cases involving Joe. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that Ms. Kelly is a maxed out donor to Messiah Barry’s campaign.
‘...Public records requested by The Dispatch disclose that information on Wurzelbacher's driver's license or his sport-utility vehicle was pulled from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles database three times [later stories upgraded this to four separate searches] shortly after the debate.

Information on Wurzelbacher was accessed by accounts assigned to the office of Ohio Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Toledo Police Department...’

‘...On Oct. 17, BMV information on Wurzelbacher was obtained through an account used by the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency in Cleveland, records show.

Mary Denihan, spokeswoman for the county agency, said the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services contacted the agency today and requested an investigation of the access to Wurzelbacher's information. Cuyahoga County court records do not show any child-support cases involving Wurzelbacher.

The State Highway Patrol, which administers the Law Enforcement Automated Data System in Ohio, asked Toledo police to explain why it pulled BMV information on Wurzelbacher within 48 hours of the debate, Hunter said...’ (Dispatch)

No matter how these Obamunists try to spin it, this is an intolerable abuse of power. Do we want an America where a man can’t ask a political candidate a question without the coercive power of the Nanny State coming down on him like a ton of bricks? Joe will probably shrug off this attempt to destroy him, but I won’t. If this is what’s headed our way under an Obamunist regime, the time to start the second American revolution is right now.

Barack Obama's 1/2 HR Spin-mmercial: The Lies Exposed

After reading this I was shocked! The MSM calling Barack a liar and challenging his empty message of hope!?!? It looks like AP writer Calvin Woodward is...

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was less than upfront in his half-hour commercial Wednesday night about the costs of his programs and the crushing budget pressures he would face in office.

Obama's assertion that "I've offered spending cuts above and beyond" the expense of his promises is accepted only by his partisans. His vow to save money by "eliminating programs that don't work" masks his failure throughout the campaign to specify what those programs are — beyond the withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

Then Woodward points out a few more doosies by Barack O-fibber....

THE SPIN: "That's why my health care plan includes improving information technology, requires coverage for preventive care and pre-existing conditions and lowers health care costs for the typical family by $2,500 a year."

THE FACTS: His plan does not lower premiums by $2,500, or any set amount. Obama hopes that by spending $50 billion over five years on electronic medical records and by improving access to proven disease management programs, among other steps, consumers will end up saving money. He uses an optimistic analysis to suggest cost reductions in national health care spending could amount to the equivalent of $2,500 for a family of four. Many economists are skeptical those savings can be achieved, but even if they are, it's not a certainty that every dollar would be passed on to consumers in the form of lower premiums.

THE SPIN: "I also believe every American has a right to affordable health care."

THE FACTS: That belief should not be confused with a guarantee of health coverage for all. He makes no such promise. Obama hinted as much in the ad when he said about the problem of the uninsured: "I want to start doing something about it." He would mandate coverage for children but not adults. His program is aimed at making insurance more affordable by offering the choice of government-subsidized coverage similar to that in a plan for federal employees and other steps, including requiring larger employers to share costs of insuring workers.

THE SPIN: "I've offered spending cuts above and beyond their cost."

THE FACTS: Independent analysts say both Obama and Republican John McCain would deepen the deficit. The nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates Obama's policy proposals would add a net $428 billion to the deficit over four years — and that analysis accepts the savings he claims from spending cuts. The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, whose other findings have been quoted approvingly by the Obama campaign, says: "Both John McCain and Barack Obama have proposed tax plans that would substantially increase the national debt over the next 10 years." The analysis goes on to say: "Neither candidate's plan would significantly increase economic growth unless offset by spending cuts or tax increases that the campaigns have not specified."

THE SPIN: "Here's what I'll do. Cut taxes for every working family making less than $200,000 a year. Give businesses a tax credit for every new employee that they hire right here in the U.S. over the next two years and eliminate tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. Help homeowners who are making a good faith effort to pay their mortgages, by freezing foreclosures for 90 days. And just like after 9-11, we'll provide low-cost loans to help small businesses pay their workers and keep their doors open."

THE FACTS: His proposals — the tax cuts, the low-cost loans, the $15 billion a year he promises for alternative energy, and more — cost money, and the country could be facing a record $1 trillion deficit next year. Indeed, Obama recently acknowledged — although not in his commercial — that: "The next president will have to scale back his agenda and some of his proposals."

The Democrats & Barack's Assault on the 401(k)

All the fancy TV ads, the debates, the sound bytes, the Sermon on the Mount II, will tell you Obama and the Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi & Dennis Kucinich type democrats don't believe in "sharing the wealth."

They will tell you their programs are NOT socialist - they tell you hard work will be rewarded, they will bring jobs, your taxes will NOT be raised and how they care about the working man after he stops working.

But here is something they are not telling... their type "Change" will kill your hard earned 401(k) and cost tons of jobs.

From Work Force --

Powerful House Democrats are eyeing proposals to overhaul the nation’s $3 trillion 401(k) system, including the elimination of most of the $80 billion in annual tax breaks that 401(k) investors receive.

House Education and Labor Committee Chairman George Miller, D-California, and Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Washington, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee’s Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support, are looking at redirecting those tax breaks to a new system of guaranteed retirement accounts to which all workers would be obliged to contribute.

A plan by Teresa Ghilarducci, professor of economic-policy analysis at the New School for Social Research in New York, contains elements that are being considered. She testified last week before Miller’s Education and Labor Committee on her proposal.

At that hearing, the director of the Congressional Budget Office, Peter Orszag, testified that some $2 trillion in retirement savings has been lost over the past 15 months.

Under Ghilarducci’s plan, all workers would receive a $600 annual inflation-adjusted subsidy from the U.S. government but would be required to invest 5 percent of their pay into a guaranteed retirement account administered by the Social Security Administration. The money in turn would be invested in special government bonds that would pay 3 percent a year, adjusted for inflation.

The current system of providing tax breaks on 401(k) contributions and earnings would be eliminated.

“I want to stop the federal subsidy of 401(k)s,” Ghilarducci said in an interview. “401(k)s can continue to exist, but they won’t have the benefit of the subsidy of the tax break.”

Under the current 401(k) system, investors are charged relatively high retail fees, Ghilarducci said.

“I want to spend our nation’s dollar for retirement security better. Everybody would now be covered” if the plan were adopted, Ghilarducci said.

She has been in contact with Miller and McDermott about her plan, and they are interested in pursuing it, she said.

“This [plan] certainly is intriguing,” said Mike DeCesare, press secretary for McDermott.

“That is part of the discussion,” he said.

While Miller stopped short of calling for Ghilarducci’s plan at the hearing last week, he was clearly against continuing tax breaks as they currently exist.

Savings rate

“The savings rate isn’t going up for the investment of $80 billion,” he said. “We have to start to think about ... whether or not we want to continue to invest that $80 billion for a policy that’s not generating what we now say it should.”

“From where I sit that’s just crazy,” said John Belluardo, president of Stewardship Financial Services Inc. in Tarrytown, New York. “A lot of people contribute to their 401(k)s because of the match of the employer,” he said. Belluardo’s firm does not manage assets directly.

Higher-income employers provide matching funds to employee plans so that they can qualify for tax benefits for their own defined-contribution plans, he said.

“If the tax deferral goes away, the employers have no reason to do the matches, which primarily help people in the lower income brackets,” Belluardo said.

“This is a battle between liberalism and conservatism,” said Christopher Van Slyke, a partner in the La Jolla, California, advisory firm Trovena, which manages $400 million. “People are afraid because their accounts are seeing some volatility, so Democrats will seize on the opportunity to attack a program where investors control their own destiny,” he said.

The Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America in Chicago, which represents employers that sponsor defined-contribution plans, is “staunchly committed to keeping the employee benefit system in America voluntary,” said Ed Ferrigno, vice president in the Washington office.

“Some of the tenor [of the hearing last week] that the entire system should be based on the activities of the markets in the last 90 days is not the way to judge the system,” he said. No legislative proposals have been introduced and Congress is out of session until next year.

However, most political observers believe that Democrats are poised to gain seats in both the House and the Senate, so comments made by the mostly Democratic members who attended the hearing could be a harbinger of things to come.

Advice at issue

In addition to tax breaks for 401(k)s, the issue of allowing investment advisors to provide advice for 401(k) plans was also addressed at the hearing. Rep. Robert Andrews, D-New Jersey, was critical of Department of Labor proposals made in August that would allow advisors to give individual advice if the advice was generated using a computer model.

Andrews characterized the proposals as “loopholes” and said that investment advice should not be given by advisors who have a direct interest in the sale of financial products.

The Pension Protection Act of 2006 contains provisions making it easier for investment advisors to give individualized counseling to 401(k) holders.

“In retrospect that doesn’t seem like such a good idea to me,” Andrews said. “This is an issue I think we have to revisit. I frankly think that the compromise we struck in 2006 is not terribly workable or wise,” he said.

On Thursday, October 9, the Department of Labor hastily scheduled a public hearing on the issue in Washington for Tuesday, October 21.

The agency does not frequently hold public hearings on its proposals.

If this is not a - share the wealth, job killing, punish the working man, nanny-state, goose-stepping socialist CHANGE - please someone tell me what is!

The "Change" you THINK you are going to get with Barack - will leave only change in your pocket!
