Black Voters discriminate against John McCain & Homo's

This is truly a historic time in the life of our country - affirmative action and the civil rights movement for blacks is over. It has now been established that racism from whites towards blacks is minimal at best. But while this is a joyous time it has also exposed another racist problem this country faces - black racism towards whites and queers.

Most blacks voted for Obama BECAUSE of the color of his skin - not the content of him as a person. So this would mean they voted against McCain BECAUSE of the color of his skin. That a person be judged for his character and not his color was the real dream of Martin Luther King - not the raping of the American dream as we witnessed yesterday.

The other troubling thing exposed yesterday is the discrimination of homo's by the black voters...

From Yahoo News --

Voters put a stop to same-sex marriage in California, dealing a crushing defeat to gay-rights activists in a state they hoped would be a vanguard, and putting in doubt as many as 18,000 same-sex marriages conducted since a court ruling made them legal this year.

The gay-rights movement had a rough election elsewhere as well Tuesday. Ban-gay-marriage amendments were approved in Arizona and Florida, and Arkansas voters approved a measure banning unmarried couples from serving as adoptive or foster parents. Supporters made clear that gays and lesbians were their main target.

Exit polls for The Associated Press found that Proposition 8 received critical support from black voters who flocked to the polls to support Barack Obama for president. Blacks voted strongly in favor of the ban, while whites narrowly opposed it and Latinos and Asians were split. More...

  1. African American's overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. How do you explain the 88% that voted for Kerry. Or that Clinton was considered the "First Black President." I don't think there's any racism in the black vote.Did it help that the Democrat was black this time, sure. Did it help the turnout, absolutely. But do you really believe there would have been a high percentage of blacks voting for a black man if he was a Republican?

  2. I agree with you Jeff. King's conclusion is not reality. African Americans vote most of the time for a Democrat regardless of color.

  3. Even if all of the blacks in this country voted for Obama, it was needed to offset the many white voters who refused to vote for him based on race. Let's be realistic, black voters made up less than 12% of the national vote. I can only imagine how many whites quietly refused to vote for Obama! He is our next president. Let's move on!!!!! By the way, I am a white woman.
