Antics: Came to a political knife fight, unarmed.

Four decades ago, John McCain demonstrated a level of courage and devotion to this once great nation that was heroism on a mind-boggling scale. He proved, conclusively, that he’s got a deep reservoir of courage at his disposal. He has the stones to swim against the tide, a trait which earned him the label ‘maverick’, which he wears with so much pride. He had the stones to stay in the Oval Office hunt, during the Elephant Clan primary, when everyone counted him out.

Like I said, McCain has guts, and is up for a fight, but that brings us to the burning question. Where was all this grim determination...where was all this "I’ll get the job done, no matter what it takes" when he really needed it? Where was his fighting spirit when it came to the General Election?

He proved that he was willing to pull out all the stops, when he was fighting that uphill battle for his party’s nomination. Unfortunately, his mind turned to mush, his spine turned into jello, when he faced off with a Dumbo-eared Marxist Messiah named Barry. Cowed by this upstart, McCain played Charlie Brown to Obama’s Lucy and let himself be suckered, repeatedly, when Obama kept yanking that political football out of reach at the last possible minute.

That dauntless, bloodied, but unbowed, warrior John McCain would have kicked Barry’s skinny ass. Unhappily, that’s not the McCain who entered the General Election arena. Instead, we got a weary warrior who never seemed to understand the folly of showing up for a political knife fight unarmed, when your opponent shows up with a machete.

Naval aviator John McCain is a hero and I salute him for it. Presidential Candidate McCain expected America to hand him the presidency on a silver platter, and he got his ass kicked. If he didn’t really want the job - that’s the way he ran his campaign - why didn’t he have the spine to move aside and let someone more highly motivated take on the Messiah Barry juggernaut?

That’s why, for refusing to take the gloves off and fight for that top job...for refusing to expose Messiah Barry as the most dangerously incompetent individual who ever ran for president...for failing to put it all on the line in defense of this once great nation, the way he did four decades ago, John McCain is the Politically Incorrect Gazette’s Girlieman of the Week.

Dead Voters, Homeless Voters & Brunner's love for Obama's Nuts

Nevertheless, investigators have found thousands more dead voters on the rolls with their ballots still being cast from the grave.

Alex Holmes Sr. has been at rest in that cemetery for 15 years. But recent election records show he cast a ballot in this year's primary.

Jeremy Moore, Holmes' grandson, was stunned.

"He's deceased. Deceased since 1993," Moore said.

And it doesn't appear to be a name mix-up.

Records reveal Alex Holmes Jr. -- who is still alive -- voted in the same election as his deceased father.

Cuyahoga County Elections Director Jane Platten said she'll look in to it.

I have always said Brunnehilda's main mission was to STEAL the election for whomever their candidate would be. Besides the homeless being allowed to vote without ID or an address and wanting prisoners to vote - Cuyahoga County now has dead people voting!

Obama's 'Redistribution" Constitution

Below is a great piece on the dangers of an Obama presidency. The effects will turn this country on its' head and may take the next 25-30 years to correct - IF it can be corrected.

The courts are poised for a takeover by the judicial left.

One of the great unappreciated stories of the past eight years is how thoroughly Senate Democrats thwarted efforts by President Bush to appoint judges to the lower federal courts.

Consider the most important lower federal court in the country: the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. In his two terms as president, Ronald Reagan appointed eight judges, an average of one a year, to this court. They included Robert Bork, Antonin Scalia, Kenneth Starr, Larry Silberman, Stephen Williams, James Buckley, Douglas Ginsburg and David Sentelle. In his two terms, George W. Bush was able to name only four: John Roberts, Janice Rogers Brown, Thomas Griffith and Brett Kavanaugh.

Although two seats on this court are vacant, Bush nominee Peter Keisler has been denied even a committee vote for two years. If Barack Obama wins the presidency, he will almost certainly fill those two vacant seats, the seats of two older Clinton appointees who will retire, and most likely the seats of four older Reagan and George H.W. Bush appointees who may retire as well.

The net result is that the legal left will once again have a majority on the nation's most important regulatory court of appeals.

The balance will shift as well on almost all of the 12 other federal appeals courts. Nine of the 13 will probably swing to the left if Mr. Obama is elected (not counting the Ninth Circuit, which the left solidly controls today). Circuit majorities are likely at stake in this presidential election for the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal. That includes the federal appeals courts for New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia and virtually every other major center of finance in the country.

On the Supreme Court, six of the current nine justices will be 70 years old or older on January 20, 2009. There is a widespread expectation that the next president could make four appointments in just his first term, with maybe two more in a second term. Here too we are poised for heavy change.

These numbers ought to raise serious concern because of Mr. Obama's extreme left-wing views about the role of judges. He believes -- and he is quite open about this -- that judges ought to decide cases in light of the empathy they ought to feel for the little guy in any lawsuit.

Speaking in July 2007 at a conference of Planned Parenthood, he said: "[W]e need somebody who's got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it's like to be a young teenage mom. The empathy to understand what it's like to be poor, or African-American, or gay, or disabled, or old. And that's the criteria by which I'm going to be selecting my judges."

On this view, plaintiffs should usually win against defendants in civil cases; criminals in cases against the police; consumers, employees and stockholders in suits brought against corporations; and citizens in suits brought against the government. Empathy, not justice, ought to be the mission of the federal courts, and the redistribution of wealth should be their mantra.

In a Sept. 6, 2001, interview with Chicago Public Radio station WBEZ-FM, Mr. Obama noted that the Supreme Court under Chief Justice Earl Warren "never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society," and "to that extent as radical as I think people tried to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical."

He also noted that the Court "didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as it has been interpreted." That is to say, he noted that the U.S. Constitution as written is only a guarantee of negative liberties from government -- and not an entitlement to a right to welfare or economic justice.

This raises the question of whether Mr. Obama can in good faith take the presidential oath to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution" as he must do if he is to take office. Does Mr. Obama support the Constitution as it is written, or does he support amendments to guarantee welfare? Is his provision of a "tax cut" to millions of Americans who currently pay no taxes merely a foreshadowing of constitutional rights to welfare, health care, Social Security, vacation time and the redistribution of wealth? Perhaps the candidate ought to be asked to answer these questions before the election rather than after.

Every new federal judge has been required by federal law to take an oath of office in which he swears that he will "administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich." Mr. Obama's emphasis on empathy in essence requires the appointment of judges committed in advance to violating this oath. To the traditional view of justice as a blindfolded person weighing legal claims fairly on a scale, he wants to tear the blindfold off, so the judge can rule for the party he empathizes with most.

The legal left wants Americans to imagine that the federal courts are very right-wing now, and that Mr. Obama will merely stem some great right-wing federal judicial tide. The reality is completely different. The federal courts hang in the balance, and it is the left which is poised to capture them.

A whole generation of Americans has come of age since the nation experienced the bad judicial appointments and foolish economic and regulatory policy of the Johnson and Carter administrations. If Mr. Obama wins we could possibly see any or all of the following: a federal constitutional right to welfare; a federal constitutional mandate of affirmative action wherever there are racial disparities, without regard to proof of discriminatory intent; a right for government-financed abortions through the third trimester of pregnancy; the abolition of capital punishment and the mass freeing of criminal defendants; ruinous shareholder suits against corporate officers and directors; and approval of huge punitive damage awards, like those imposed against tobacco companies, against many legitimate businesses such as those selling fattening food.

Nothing less than the very idea of liberty and the rule of law are at stake in this election. We should not let Mr. Obama replace justice with empathy in our nation's courtrooms.

Open letter to Roman Catholics for Obama

The following excerpts are from a letter written by fellow RPCC member David Fago to fellow Roman Catholics who support, or who are thinking about supporting Barack Obama...

This letter is addressed to all the “Roman Catholics for Obama” groups out there.

I have read and heard many reasons why Roman Catholics are supporting Barack Hussein Obama for President this year, and on the surface…the arguments are compelling. Some of the issues that concern Roman Catholics that would compel them to vote for Obama are: Unemployment, High Gas Prices, The Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the failure of Wall Street, and a genuine hate for George W. Bush.

Roman Catholics must remember this: We celebrate the Immaculate Conception. We have a feast day and a Holy Day of Obligation for the Immaculate Conception on December 8. This day alone tells us that life begins at conception. This day is not called the “Immaculate Fetus Date of a Potential Baby That Might Become Someone Special”. It is called the Immaculate Conception because at the very instance of conception, this baby, this person, this human being with potential IS going to be someone special. (I don’t think we need Bill Clinton to tell what the definition of IS is on this one!)

If you vote a straight Democratic ticket for Congress and Senate and state and local offices…that is OK. But for a vote for President of the United States…as a Roman Catholic…you must vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin to reverse this terrible genocide and call for the protection of the most innocent human life. People still wondering about IF they should vote for Obama - you must think of this - many of the people following & supporting Obama are of this radical fringe. This type of behavior will only increase should he be elected. These are not the "Democrats" you think they are!

For many on the left this is not a campaign - this is a movement. A radical, left-wing, socialist movement that will also treat you in the same manner should at any time you disagree with their agenda. Your "Right to Free Speech" will be changed to a "Selective Right to Free Speech," and they will select what you can say without repercussion or attack.

Greater Cleveland Young Republicans shine in local debate

While the democrats and MSM keep up their attacks on the now temporarily famous - "Joe the Plumber," they show how much they REALLY care about the working men and women in America. Just because the poor guy doesn't agree with Barack O'Robin Hood's socialist tax hikes - the full frontal assault on Joe continues.

While "Joe the Plumber" was being introduced to the world in the last debate - we had our own "Joe the Conservative" standing down the local democrats during a pre-debate that took place at Pickwick & Frolic in downtown Cleveland. But this "Joe the Conservative," President of the Greater Cleveland Young Republicans, was not alone.

In a McCainesque fashion, "Joe the Conservative" came loaded for bear and was joined on stage by fellow GCYR member, Candice Miller. Like John & Sarah - Joe & Candice gave a sound thrashing to the local Obamaites representing the Cuyahoga County Dumbacrats.

"You want me to say, 'Oh, it's our fault,' when it's not," Miller said.

Not a single deregulation bill that would have affected the subprime situation was passed during the eight-year Bush administration, she said.

Everyone has to give Bob Frantz from WTAM 1100 an – Outstanding!

In his show yesterday Frantz was rightfully railing on how the early voting is nothing more than the Wicked Witch of Ohio, SecRATary of State Jennifer Brunnehilda, hand-delivering Ohio to Obama.

In the first day of early voting Brunnehilda was allowing homeless people to vote and they refused to allow an elections observer witness the early voting taking place at the Cuyahoga County “Bored” of Elections.

A concerned Frantz called Brunehilda’s office for an explanation of how they could be allowing people to vote with no verifiable residence and wanted to know what safety measures were in place to protect against voter fraud.

Jeff Ortega, Brunnehilda’s #1 winged monkey at the SOS office, called back and responded in a truly unbelievable exhibit of deceit and deception. With all the sidestepping and jukes thrown by Ortega, had he been a football player - he would have made Jim Brown look like a Giraffe on Quaaludes.

When Frantz pressed Ortega for an answer as to why there is no election observers – Ortega like a pull the string doll – kept repeating – “the law did not provide for observers.” Ortega did acknowledge that SOS Brunnehilda has ruled since the legislation did not provide for observers – there will be none during early elections.

When questioned on the fact that many homeless people (for liberals that means they have no home) with out ID’s or permanent residence allowed to vote, Ortega stated that elections boards have procedures in place. Frantz pressed forward on what exactly the procedures are and Ortega still stumbled around his repeated trained-dog legislation did not provide for them excuse.

Here is the most incredible part and proof that Brunnehilda and her winged monkeys at the Ohio SOS office are stealing the election for Barack – when asked to name one procedure in place to stop voter fraud, Ortega led Frantz into his next radio commercial!

You got it – after Frantz nailed Ortega’s weasely little election stealing ass to the wall – Ortega said, “well, your producer said, uhm, I know you got other things to talk about and I got to go.”

Pakistan President earns Fatwah over Palin Remarks

After making some innocnet flirtatious remarks to Sarah Palin during there recent meeting new Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, husband of the late Benazir Bhutto, is drawing the ire of the Pakistani femi-nazi's and religious leaders.

In what amounted to nothing more than flattering small-talk, religious leaders have issued a fatwah over Zardari's remarks...

Barack O'Shameless - Was asked NOT to wear Fallen Soldiers Bracelet!

Barack Obama has no shame. This man will say or do anything to hijack the presidency. In what has to probably be the biggest affront to our soldiers and one of their fallen comrades by a politician - Obama puts his self interest, before the wishes of a fallen soldiers grieving mother.

In the debate the other night John McCain spoke about how a mother of a fallen soldier asked him to wear her sons bracelet....

And I'll tell you, I had a town hall meeting in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, and a woman stood up and she said, "Senator McCain, I want you to do me the honor of wearing a bracelet with my son's name on it."

He was 22 years old and he was killed in combat outside of Baghdad, Matthew Stanley, before Christmas last year. This was last August, a year ago. And I said, "I will -- I will wear his bracelet with honor."

And this was August, a year ago. And then she said, "But, Senator McCain, I want you to do everything -- promise me one thing, that you'll do everything in your power to make sure that my son's death was not in vain."

As McCain was speaking, Obama, who was barely able to contain himself, almost broke his wrist scrambling to look for a military bracelet given to him by the mother of another fallen soldier.

Senator Barack O'Smugness, like a fifth grader on a playground, couldn't wait to chirp in that he had a bracelet too....

Jim, let me just make a point. I've got a bracelet, too, from Sergeant - from the mother of Sergeant Ryan David Jopeck (ph), given to me ingrain bin green bay. She asked me, can you please make sure another mother is not going through what I'm going through.

The McCain / Obama difference here? McCain took a break from politics during this exchange in the debate. McCain was speaking from his heart about the bracelet given to him from the fallen soldiers mother. McCain wears the bracelet with honor.

Obama, on the other hand, feels his bracelet is to be worn as "bling" and uses it to score political points - even after Sgt. Jopek's mother asked him to stop.

Jopek: She has turned down any subsequent interviews with the media because she just didn’t want it to get turned into something that it wasn’t. She had told me in an email that she had asked, actually asked Mr. Obama to not wear the bracelet any more at any of his public appearances.

Republican believes her party is out of touch -- letter to the editor

I'm a longtime Republican who will proudly vote for Barack Obama in the upcoming election. I painfully watched the Republican convention.

Apparently they don't live in my America. My America is in a recession.

I appreciate the service of John McCain and the multiple military references, but that service will not put food on the tables in my America.

My America is Asian, Indian, White, African-American and Hispanic.

Apparently their America is all white -- all you had to do was look out in that crowd to see that the Republican convention did not reflect the diversity of this country.

In my America, Democrats as well as Republicans believe in family values.

Apparently, they believe that somehow that party and that party only cares about family values.

I would say that, apparently, the Republican Party is simply out of touch with the struggles of my America.

I am voting for Barack Obama and I am writing this letter because my America is the America that we will leave to our children, and I owe my vote to them.

Quit calling yourselves Republicns

I am writing in response to Kay Creekmore’s letter to the editor. She states, “I’m a longtime Republican who will proudly vote for Barack Obama in the upcoming election.” I question the “longtime Republican” statement. In fact, when I looked up Kay’s voting record for Patricia K. Creekmore I clearly see that she has never pulled a Republican ballot in a Primary election since the year 2000. In fact, the only partisan ballot Kay ever pulled was this past year in 2008, and it was a Democrat ballot. The public records do not lie, and this information is all public knowledge compliments of the Ohio Secretary of State.

Kay is one more person in a long line of people claiming to be “longtime” Republicans who are tired of the party and voting for Obama. I am also tired of the Plain Dealer blindly printing these kinds of letters without taking a minute to research her claims. It took me one minute to download the voter data from the Ohio SOS site and prove Kay to be a Democrat, not a Republican.

News agencies Wednesday quote General Nikolai Solovtsyov as saying Russia may take the action if the United States moves forward with a missile defense plan in Poland and the Czech Republic.

"But, you know, when you've been taking all these earmarks when it's convenient, and then suddenly you're the champion anti-earmark person, that's not change. Come on! I mean, words mean something, you can't just make stuff up." -- Barack Obama, Sept. 6, 2008

In politics, words are cheap. What really counts are actions. Democrats and Republicans have talked about fiscal responsibility for years. In reality, both parties have a shameful record of wasting hundreds of billions of tax dollars on pork-barrel projects.

My Senate colleague Barack Obama is now attacking Gov. Sarah Palin over earmarks. Having worked with both John McCain and Mr. Obama on earmarks, and as a recovering earmarker myself, I can tell you that Mrs. Palin's leadership and record of reform stands well above that of Mr. Obama.

Let's compare.

Mrs. Palin used her veto pen to slash more local projects than any other governor in the state's history. She cut nearly 10% of Alaska's budget this year, saving state residents $268 million. This included vetoing a $30,000 van for Campfire USA and $200,000 for a tennis court irrigation system. She succinctly justified these cuts by saying they were "not a state responsibility."

Meanwhile in Washington, Mr. Obama voted for numerous wasteful earmarks last year, including: $12 million for bicycle paths, $450,000 for the International Peace Museum, $500,000 for a baseball stadium and $392,000 for a visitor's center in Louisiana.

Mrs. Palin cut Alaska's federal earmark requests in half last year, one of the strongest moves against earmarks by any governor. It took real leadership to buck Alaska's decades-long earmark addiction.

Mr. Obama delivered over $100 million in earmarks to Illinois last year and has requested nearly a billion dollars in pet projects since 2005. His running mate, Joe Biden, is still indulging in earmarks, securing over $90 million worth this year.

Mrs. Palin also killed the infamous Bridge to Nowhere in her own state. Yes, she once supported the project: But after witnessing the problems created by earmarks for her state and for the nation's budget, she did what others like me have done: She changed her position and saved taxpayers millions. Even the Alaska Democratic Party credits her with killing the bridge.

When the Senate had its chance to stop the Bridge to Nowhere and transfer the money to Katrina rebuilding, Messrs. Obama and Biden voted for the $223 million earmark, siding with the old boys' club in the Senate. And to date, they still have not publicly renounced their support for the infamous earmark.

Mrs. Palin has proven courageous by taking on big spenders in her own party. In March of this year, the Anchorage Daily News reported that, "Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens is aggravated about what he sees as Gov. Sarah Palin's antagonism toward the earmarks he uses to steer federal money to the state."

Mr. Obama had a chance to take on his party when Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid offered a sham ethics bill, which was widely criticized by watchdog groups such as Citizens Against Government Waste for shielding earmarks from pubic scrutiny. But instead of standing with taxpayers, Mr. Obama voted for the bill. Today, he claims he helped write the bill that failed to clean up Washington.

Mr. Obama has shown little restraint on earmarks until this year, when he decided to co-sponsor an earmark moratorium authored by Mr. McCain and myself. Mr. Obama is vulnerable on this issue, and he knows it. That is why he is lashing out at Mrs. Palin and trying to hide his own record.

Mrs. Palin is one of the strongest antiearmark governors in America. If more governors around the country would do what she has done, we would be much closer to fixing our nation's fiscal problems than we are.

Mrs. Palin's record here is solid and inspiring. She will help Mr. McCain shut down the congressional favor factory, and she has a record to prove it. Actions mean something. You can't just make stuff up.
