Taking issue with a reported 70% decline in violence and that several Iraqi Sunni tribes HAVE banded together and are now helping U.S. troops, Bin Laden urges his followers to watch, "against hypocritical enemies who are infiltrating your ranks to create sedition among mujahedeen groups."
In what may be a last ditch effort to solidify his power and extremist groups in Iraq, Bin Laden heaps praise on his followers but realizes their heavy handed tactics and the random killings are alienating the more moderate Sunni's from Al-Qaeda in Iraq.....
"My mujahedeen brothers in Iraq, you are a people worthy of praise and flattery. You've done well to carry out a glorious duty by fighting the enemy. But some of you have lagged behind in carrying out another glorious duty, which is to unite as one - as God wants," bin Laden said.
"The mujahidin are the children of this nation ... they do right things and wrong things," bin Laden said. "Those who are accused of violations of God's commandments should face trial," bin Laden said. "The interest of the Islamic nation surpasses that of a group," he said.
"The strength of faith is in the strength of the bond between Muslims and not that of a tribe or that of nationalism."
