Steaming Load Award: Tinsel Town’s GLAAD BAAG mafia injects Korrectness into the Miss USA pageant.

Because she dared to answer a question about GLAAD BAAG marriage, based on her Christian beliefs, the officials and sponsors of the Miss California USA pageant are determined to ostracize Miss California USA 2009, Carrie Prejean.

"I think it's great Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody there, but that's how I was raised and that's how I think it should be, between a man and a woman." (Carrie Prejean's answer to the gay marriage question)

Her honest answer, opposing gay marriage, cost her the Miss USA 2009, relegating her to first runner-up.

Before she hit that GLAAD BAAG speed bump, Carrie was the fair haired lass - literally and figuratively, with the entire Miss California USA team supporting, encouraging, her. Afterwards, nobody associated with the Miss California USA wants anything to do with her. Until her reign ends in October, they will do their best to pretend Carrie Prejean doesn’t exist. If Carrie planned a career in show business, she might need to get over it, because they don't allow practicing Cross Cultists in Tinsel Town:

"Hollywood isn’t just liberal, it is fearfully liberal. It is easier in Hollywood to say you’re a drug addict or to pretty much anything than to admit to being a committed Christian," media expert and longtime Hollywood publicist, Michael Levine of Levine Communications, told FOXnews.com. This GLAAD BAAG butt bullet promises to keep on stinking, for years, decades, now that the GLAAD BAAG marriage litmus test has been added to the beauty queen prerequisites. It will work, unfortunately, because most of these contestants dream of Tinsel Town stardom, where Christians, conservatives, and rational adults are systematically ostracized. It stinks, but there’s nothing anyone can do to stop it.

Parting shot: In this instance, the GLAAD BAAGs in general, and that mincing meathead who asked that question, in particular, managed to flush themselves. Granted, they managed to nuke Carrie’s Miss USA aspirations, but, in the process, they transformed her into a heroine of Christian Conservatism. She will, despite their best efforts, achieve her dreams of stardom, but not in the arena she had in mind, when she started out on this road.
