Border Agents May Have Sentences Commuted

This makes me embarrassed to be an American!

President Bush has still yet to issue a pardon for jailed U.S. Border Patrol Agents Ramos & Compean. Bush has issued a pardon for a man convicted of hiring, aiding and harboring illegal immigrants - the same people Ramos & Compean were protecting us from - and in an unprecedented action, after handing out pardons like candy, Bush rescinded a pardon issued to a New York developer - but our Border Agents get ignored. He should be ashamed!

In a new turn of events, the agents may have their sentences commuted...

From WND --

The U.S. Department of Justice has opened a file on imprisoned U.S. Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean and a commutation of their sentences is under review, the office of agency pardon attorney Ronald L. Rodgers confirmed to WND.

Rodgers spoke directly about the case by telephone with Stephen J. Eichler, J.D., executive director of Jim Gilchrist's Minuteman Project Inc.. More...

Commuted? Bullcrap! Not only should they not be in jail - but if anyone was ever deserving of a pardon these men are! They should have never even been arrested.

  1. We have been posting on this issue for some time. a real disappointment if you ask us. What in the world is going on... or do we really want to know.

Time for freedom for those two agents.

  2. I just cannot understand why Bush will not give these men a pardon. Again, they should have never even been arrested.

It is a very big disappointment and I would definitely want to know what is going on.

If Bush does not pardon them - do you think there is a chance Obama will? Unfortunately I don't think he would either.
