Obama launches first salvo of attacks against 2nd Amendment

The guys over at Buckeye Firearms warned everyone about the immediate attacks that could be expected on the 2nd Amendment when Obama was elected. Many of the MSM pundits told the "mouth agape in awe" Obamaites, like the redneck, gun-clinging idiots in PA, that Obama woud do no such thing. At least not in his first term.

Well guess what - you 2nd Amendment supporting idiots that voted for Obama - he lied again!

From Buckeye Firearms --

Within minutes of being sworn in yesterday, Obama posted a new White House website announcing the administration's declaration of war on American gun owners.

Tucked away in the section on "Urban Policy," under the header "Crime and Law Enforcement,"
the White House website now states:

Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade.

Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

We warned you of this. And now it's official. Here's what it really means.

The new administration plans to:

  • reinstate and expand the federal Assault Weapons Ban

  • repeal the Tiahrt Amendment and allow anti-gun activists to sue gun dealers and manufacturers out of existence

  • mandate criminal background checks for ALL firearm transfers, including private transactions

  • force gun manufacturers to include unproven and astronomically expensive "child-safe" features on newly-manufactured firearms

This is NOT just a national concern. This will be a battle that we will fight here in Ohio as well. The gun-grabbers have waited for this moment for years. And we need to be ready.

Being a former holder of an FFL license - I see no problem with private transactions also being subject to criminal background checks. Everything else is nothing short of the first attack from this administration on our 2nd Amendment rights - and it is only his first week!

To help support our 2nd Amendment rights and to keep close tabs on the antics being pulled got to Buckeye Firearms.
