Iranian Armed Forces will Suppress Enemies

TERHAN (Fars News Agency)- Commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution's Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi here on Saturday stressed that his country's armed forces will suppress any move by anti-revolution and alien-affiliated bandits with maximum power.

Safavi said that enemies of Islam and Iran resort to all types of measures to win their goals as they believe that the goal justifies the means.

"Enemies, specially the US, lack human values. They exercise unilateral policies, stage preemptive operations and violate all the international rules and regulations to materialize their hegemonic goals through inhumane methods, and that's why they embark on massacring innocent human beings and commit brutal and barbaric crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan," he said.

The commander said enemies, particularly the US, Britain and the Zionist regime, seek to create insecurity along Iran's southeastern and northwestern borders through their mercenaries, and continued, "But the Iranian armed forces are fully prepared to suppress any move by the anti-revolution and alien-affiliated bandits and gangs with maximum power."

He further warned hegemonic powers against the use of force, threat and intimidation against the powerful Iran, and stressed that the Islamic Republic stands up to any foreign threat, relying on its high defensive capabilities and potentials.
The General underlined that no foreign enemy or threat can deter Iran from attaining the exalted goals of its Islamic Revolution and achieving prosperity, progress and development.
