Cleveland named among Top 12 of American "Dangerous Destinations"

Another great title for Cleveland! The current leadership is racking up the accolades!

From the PD --
Peter Greenberg claims Bangkok, Los Angeles and New York as home -- legendary non-havens all. Yet the NBC "Today" show travel editor and author warns in his latest book that Cleveland is among 12 American "Dangerous Destinations." Los Angeles and New York? Not among the dozen.

"I love Jacobs Field [now known as Progressive Field] and I've been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame so many times. I'm just saying, guys, know what you're getting into before you go," said Greenberg, who names the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood from East 70th to East 123rd streets and Kinsman Road from East 55th to East 130th streets -- hardly top tourist areas -- as places to avoid. More...

Of course the talking heads of all the "I Love Cleveland" do-nothing, feel good groups - dispute Greenbergs claims - as we would only expect them too. Touting many of the attractions in the downtown area - they fail to realize getting to and from them can be DEADLY.

But maybe our leaders are smarter than we think... the businessmen from the conventions they plan on attracting with the still missing MedMart let's say- go out for a morning jog and get nearly beaten to death by a group of thugs or maybe they go to the theater and get ran over by some young punks in a stolen car - they will have an opportunity to see first hand how some of the new medical technology works!
