PD columnist Regina Brett Defends Slain Bank Robber

I have continuously said that the PD is a rag – a liberal rag! In their latest crap covered column written by clown face Regina Bretta Cleveland Police Officer was called a serial killer and a trigger-happy cop...

Cleveland detectives are investigating Simone's recent shooting, which is standard procCleveland police officer Jim Simone has an alarming record of killing people.

If anyone else gunned down five people, we'd call him a serial killer.

Folks are calling Simone a supercop. If only they knew what that truly is. edure. We need something more. We need another eye on Simone. We need a citizen review board and an investigation by law-enforcement officers outside of Cleveland.

Simone has shot at 11 suspects and killed five. Why so many? Is there a pattern? Does he abuse his power? Is he putting fellow officers and civilians at risk? More...

It is widely known in Cleveland that 2nd District Police Officer Jim Simone would give a ticket to his mother. On the force for -- years, Simone has developed a reputation of being a prick. During my years of 15 years of repossessing (furniture, cars, trucks, boats, planes, etc…) in Cleveland I have crossed paths with Officer Simone a couple times. Details aside, I think the guy is a little too serious and needs to lighten up. I would compare Simone to a policeman that would give a policeman a ticket.

During his career of protecting innocent from the thugs on the streets of Cleveland Officer Simone has had his share of not so shining moments. Like when he helped a friend in the local democrat party hassle a member of the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County. Officer Simone after receiving a phone call from his democrat friend. Officer Simone left the City of Cleveland in his cruiser and tried issuing a DUI to the RPCC member. Even though an officer is sworn to uphold the laws of Ohio at all times, his actions were very stupid and stretching the limits of his authority.

Do not be mistaken; this post is not to slam Officer Simone. No, this is to show that Officer Simone, while maybe an over bearing ass, is human. Simone, as with other police officers, is a human that have dedicated their lives to protecting others while ignoring his own safety. Even with his faults, Officer Simone is a policemen. Policeman should be respected and obeyed. A civilized society is impossible without them.

Being the son of a retired, and now gone, police officer of 25 years – it makes me sick when some armchair, liberal, pencil-pushing puke would even second guess a police officer let alone call one a serial killer. The very culture their liberalism and pansy puke policies have created and enabled the thugs that Officer Simone and other police officers battle with everyday.

Officer Simone has had several shootings over his career – all of them ruled justifiable. Officer Simone, being an over bearing ass, looks for the action on the streets. Even after being shot in the face, hit by a car and countless scuffles arresting the scumbags in Cleveland – Officer Simone has continued to serve and protect the City of Cleveland.

Most Policemen would rather serve their whole career without ever having to unholster their weapon let alone take a life – Officer Simone is no different.

That Simone, after shooting a bank robber, should be called a serial killer or second guessed by a liberal reporter and editors of a newspaper that is screaming about an increase in crime that have NEVER seen the real streets of Cleveland is disgusting. I would guarantee if any of the editors or Brett ever played policeman – they would be inclined to shoot suspects at the least appearance of a threat.

City of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson should publicly rebuke the hit piece on Officer Simone by Regina Brett and the PD. After stating he would support an increase of aggressive police work to clean up the streets – Mayor Jackson has remained quiet. At a time when Mayor Jackson should be grabbing a microphone and warning the thugs if you disobey a police order, try harming a police officer and don’t stop destroying our city – this dead bank robber might be you – he is, as usual silent.

As with Officer Simone’s other shooting, I am confident this shooting will be ruled justifiable. Being the letter of the law type of policeman Simone is, and knowing his career has brought closer scrutiny on him, we can be sure facts will support Officer Simone. The sad thing is that an officer was forced to take a life. Another nightmare added to his dreams, more restless nights of second guessing yourself after being attacked by the local newspaper.

The PD just reported that the streets of Cleveland have been rated as good places to walk. While there are many contributing factors to this rating, I am sure safety was a significant factor in this rating. Of course this safety has come from PD reporters and their loaded pens! The thugs fear PDA’s much more than tasers and hollow points.

Bob Frantz of WTAM 1100
has challenged PD reporter Regina Brett to come on his show and defend her despicable column. I challenge Frantz to take it a step farther – challenge Brett & editor Susan Goldberg to walk the streets of Cleveland at night – with no way to contact police. I’m thinking on some Friday evening at about 11:00 PM they should start their walk in the Mt Pleasant area (127th & Kinsman) then stroll on down to Garden Valley (73rd & Kinsman). I would love to see Regina Brett write up a column on that walk.

For allowing this crap to be printed the fish wrap Plain Dealer, fit only to line a birdcage, should be held accountable. The harm caused by this paper to our community needs to be addressed. It needs to be addressed by a further decrease in subscriptions and readers. Do you think Brett & her editors will issue an apology when the shooting is ruled justifiable?

In fairness, all of the desktop dipweed’s at the PD are not as ignorant as Regina Brett. In today’s PD, columnist Phillip Morris states…

We can't have it both ways.

We can't continue to handcuff police officers and then expect them to perform safety miracles in a dangerous, crumbling city.

We can't eviscerate the thug culture that greases Greater Cleveland's slide into chaos and then decry an officer like Jim Simone, who has continuously drawn a courageous line against crime.

A sharp focus has recently been placed on the career exploits of Simone, a 35-year veteran of the Cleveland Police Department, who has killed five suspected felons in the line of duty. He killed his latest, a fleeing bank robber, last week.

Some say that's too many kills. Most officers retire without killing anyone. So now amateur shrinks are trying to crawl through Simone's head.

So now this is the thanks he gets for stopping a resistant bank robber. He is denigrated as a serial murderer and a bully. It would seem a bit more fitting, however, that we recognize his valor and thank him for his proven willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Talk is cheap. A bullet to the face which he has suffered isn't. More...

Instead of recognizing the everyday sacrifices and dangers faced by officers as Morris does in his column, Brett & her editors would rather take cheap shots at the men in blue protecting our lives.

Yep, the PD really is a great asset to Cleveland!

  1. I have been impressed with Morris. I dont always agree with him, but I do like his writing. Much better than Sam Fulwood.

  2. Hey Ben!

I like reading Morris also. Fulwood was a hack reporter, a racist and a fool. Foolwood wouldn't even be a pimple on Morris' ass.

  3. why did you invite the p.d. girls to walk around in mount pleasant instead of kamms corners? did you intend to infer that since mt. pleasant is populated by a majority black population and kamms is mostly white that the white girls would endure a more harsh experience in my pleasant because there are more black people there? you must be a freakin racist, king! the next time you call somebody a racist, you should pause for thought before you do it. you should be very careful about that because it pisses people off!

  4. did you starch your white sheet? are you the "king" or the grand cyclops, or perhaps the imperial wizard of the invisible knights? now, who is the f**kin asshole?

  5. King,

Simone is a menace. He is to be feared not revered. He has a very long history of questionable actions not even related to his numerous shootings. No brother officer has worked with him in over 18 years, he works alone. He is an overzealous sanctimonious crusader with a screw loose, a true loose cannon as defined by his fellow officers.

This is the reason for the scrutiny of him, he has a long controversial history and the scrutiny is well justified.

  6. Anon #1 - you wrote -- why did you invite the p.d. girls to walk around in mount pleasant instead of kamms corners? did you intend to infer that since mt. pleasant is populated by a majority black population and kamms is mostly white that the white girls would endure a more harsh experience in my pleasant because there are more black people there?

Let me answer your question dipweed... invited the PD wenches to walk in Garden Valley & Mt. Pleasant area for several reasons.

You got me on the first one though - Those are black nieghborhoods. Could have easily said Woodland/Woodhill in the Morris Black area. That area is also black. But you got me... I could have also said Slavic Village.

I used those areas for a reason - I am very familiar with the areas after sneaking through backyards, alleys and row houses afters years of repossesing. I am an eastsider - did not like going to the west side - and still don't. In some of the situations I was in - you definitely want to understand what the people are saying.

Hope you are not trying to compare my statement to your ignorant inference that only black guys shoot policemen. I think you are - so you must be dumber than I thought. So, Yes your statement was not only racist - it was ignorant.

Even at this point - I have yet to hear any race issues brought up in Officer Miktarians murder. Believe me - had anyone said the suspect was picked on because he was black, implied Officer Miktarian pulled him over only because he was black or anything remotely close - I would be screaming from the high heavens. But that was not the case. You are the only person that claims black guys are the only ones that shoot at police.

Your remarks and stalker like tendencies prove to me you have no concept of the inner city or "real" life on the streets.

There is a lack of respect for law enforcement by all races. There is the liberal pukes like Brett trying to cast blame on police before the suspects before the facts are determined. Had someone done the same using race in this case - again I would be screaming.

An officer was murdered in the line of duty you asshole. It was and is a time to show respect in honoring his life and supporting his family - not saying, "what did you expect, all black guys shoot police."

So whine all you want - if the BBQ rib needs sauce - baste it! I did, so deal with it. You don't like it, go read another blog.

BTW - did I say your were also a chicken shit? Well you are! Be a man post your name or do you need to hide and remain anon.

Anon #3 - thanks for commenting. In your comment you mention - brother officer. I will assume you are a policeman. I'll call you Officer Anon. I understand and respect why you would comment anonymous.

Officer Anon, your commenting on here opens many things for me. Being the son of a former police officer - I know better than speaking out of school with regular citizens, which is why my initial remarks about Simone were tempered. I feel since you have spoken freely about Simone, I can now be more frank.

Simone is an asshole. He is a Barney Fife with a badge. Simone is one of the other reasons I hated repoing on the west side, be it cars or funiture. More than once Simone has made me drop a car after a "clean repo." On one instance I was three streets away. Paper work was in order, my truck legal w/ Cleveland tow tag, debtor was completely unaware, just completed calling it into CPD as a repo and he still made me drop it or he would tow my truck. So I how much of an ass and over zealous he could be. He did not even care my father was a retired policeman.

But the reason of my post about Brett is her calling him a serial killer. I do not take kindly to people that criticize any police when they have not walked in their shoes and have no clue as to what it is like being an officer. I do not mean just the stuff at work. I mean everything the comes with the job - home life too.

Simone is still a policeman - in these instances the only people to judge him should be other officers. Not people with no clue.

From what I have read... Simone chased him, told the guy to stop, the guy reached in the car... I believe Simone was told the guy threatened the teller with a gun.

That is enough for me to rule this shooting justifiable. A violent crime, threat of a gun, suspect refused to obey orders and reached into a car for something - I say shoot and look later.

The scrutiny is well deserved in any shooting. Simone by being an ass - is getting more. Loose cannon - I agree! But in this shooting I believe he was right.

Not in any way comparing repoing to the job of an officer - but I know first hand that things can go bad real quick on the streets with a loose cannon. I am sure that is why he has no choice but to work alone. A policemans job is tough enough - you don't need another officer making it tougher.

I know that most officers are not like Simone, but he still wears blue. Brett has no right to compare him with a serial killer.

Thanks for commenting and thanks for your service Officer Anon.

God Bless you and the rest in blue!

  8. i'm done with ya king. you have credited statements to me that were never made by me. once you start lying to try to justify what you know to be incorrect behavior, then i'm thru. anybody can read the posts and see that you say that i said things that i never said. you "interpret" what i meant but never said. your interpretation is wrong but you cannot admit to being wrong. so you LIE about it. forget you. you're an exposed jerkoff. i'm gonna do what you suggest - read another blog and boycott this one. you call me a coward for posting annonymously when you're a repo man who annonymously tows peoples cars with out confronting them. sneaking around, skulking at all hours of the night to avoid confronting the owners of the cars? that's a freakin joke. you're a blowhard.

  9. Thanks for the link Ben.

    Anon...

you may be right. your first comment was -- all killed by black males. blacks like to cite race all the time when it gives them an advantage. they don't like whites to do it though. let's cite race here.--

I was wrong for assuming you are a racist... but there is no doubt the statement is. Why? because you are injecting race, where it need not be injected.

Dealing strictly with Officer Miktarians murder - race was not brought up (at least yet). My anger and remarks to you were based on - a policeman was killed, who gives a shit what color the thug was. As I have said before - I do not believe Officer Miktarian's murder was a race related murder. To be honest - I do not believe the suspect intentionally left his house with the thought that he is going to kill an officer if he is pulled over. But it does not matter - the policeman was executed.

If your comments were taken out of context - than I do apologize. A sign of a true man is that he is ready to admit when he is wrong. Again, If I was wrong on the intentions of your remarks, I apologize.

I get very touchy and sensitive when a policeman is executed by a thug. It is not about color - it is about a culture of life that has no respect for authority. The lack of respect is from blacks and whites.

I fully agree with some of your remarks about Al Sharpton, Je$$e Jackson, McMickle, Rep. Shirley Smith, etc... If you search my site you will see I posted on Smith when she made her ignorant remarks and also made a post on how the black leaders of Cuyahoga County have failed the black residents. I also posted on Judge Shirley Strickland Saffold coddling the HS footbal player thug earlier this year. Do a search of the blog you will find them.

I do not subscribe to the victimhood theory. I will always rail against it. Do some in the black community hate whites just because they are white? Absolutely! But the same can be said for whites also.

I believe let some of the asshat black leaders continually inject race. That does not make it true. But by both sides injecting race into everything - the race problem will never be solved. We cannot allow ourselves to get caught in a color issue. People must be forced to understand - your actions have consequences regardless of your color. For me this is very simple - wrong is wrong! I could give two-shits what the color of a persons skin is.

There was a shooting a couple weeks ago by some black punks who killed a foriegn speaking guy in Cleveland at a gas pump. They were out looking for trouble. When they heard the guy's accent - they screwed with him and shot him. The prosecutor said it was not a hate crime. I say bullshit! It was because of his accent they seen an easy target to screw around with. A recent case in I believe Lake County - a white guy went and shot a black guy because he ex was dating him. The black guy was shot because he was black. The white guy, was charged with a hate crime.

The Duke rape case - speaks for itself. These kids were prosecuted for the simple fact that they were white and the victim was black. Double standard? Absolutely!

The black teen thugs who beat up the attorney in Shaker Hts. - they were looking for anyone to screw with. The attorney was an easy target. We can go to any city where there is a predominant portion of blacks, beaners, and whites in the inner city and cite instances of this type of stuff. EG - Texas - I believe a guy was dragged behind a pickup to his death - just because he was black. This was done by white guys.

This problem runs much deeper than just race. It stems from the liberalization of our country. Where victimhood has replaced being responsible for your actions. Johnny or Jamal had a hard life, poor upbringing, etc... and that is why he committed a crime. I say bullshit to this whole theory. A crime is a crime - regardless of what color you are.

As you, I am sick and tired of people using race as an excuse. I will be posting a story on some Mom's in Cleveland that are banding together to combat the thug culture that has infected our city and many other cities across America. These mom's are finally standing up and saying wrong is wrong - regardless of color. The moms lost their children to the streets, some were shot by policemen. The mom's are black. What these women are doing is what everyone needs to do.

Now as for your remarks about repossessing...

First, I repoed furniture, washers, dryers, fridges, stereo's, TV's, etc... for many years. Obviously this would entail going into the homes (alone) while the people were there and removing the items. There was no sneaking around on that job. Though deception was used to gain entry - but they knew who I was when I started removing items from their homes.

Being threatened, held at gun point, shot at, chased, thrown down stairs, or surrounded was just a fact of life in the business. For the record I always got my stuff and never left for the above reasons. Looking into a persons eyes and daring the to shoot you - is a complete rush! A rush I loved and still miss. I also NEVER carried a gun when I did repos.

When I went to cars - it was like a vacation. There was no challenge. Many of the local repo guys were upset with me BECAUSE I would knock on the doors at 3 or 4 in the morning to wake people up, get their keys and let them take theri belongings. Yeah a repo guy with a heart! Did not want to kick them when they were down.

More than haveing a heart it was the challenge. How far can I push it and still get the car. It was the rush of being in a bad area and pushing my luck to the limit. Police would not go to many of the areas I repoed with having back up.

Understand this about repoing - the object is to secure the collateral. Even though I would push the limit by waking people up, there were some instances you just had to steal the car.

As long as I did repos, many of the people I took cars from where the same people I repod furniture and stuff from. So I had a relationship with them. Treating them with respect and being a man in how I dealt with them - gained me a rep of being fair and not an asshole. Many times the people knew me on a first name basis. On several occasions I had people who I had repoed from save me form some potentially serious situations.

Most car repos for me went like this...

Front wheel drive car would be parked head in. I would lift the back tires to secure the vehicle. At this point, I would knock on the door or call the person on the phone. There options were - give me the keys and take your stuff out or I will force the ignition and drag the car out. You will then need to pick up your belongings at a later date. Leaving the car was not option for them. It was coming with me. How the repo went was determined on their actions. Most gave up the keys and took out their stuff.

Most of the times with repoing, the danger was with other people and not always the debtor.

Trust me - a pissed off black woman in the middle of the night is much more dangerous than many of the dope boys on the corner!

Unable to get into details, I repo'd many cars from a sub leasing scam that was done by some of the bigger and most dangerous drug dealers in Cleveland. Did I sneak around to get these? On most of them yes.

I do not repo anymore. Other than the occasional request where the local guys around here are unable to get the vehicle. Most of the repo's I did were accounts that most of the local repo guys tried and were unsuccesful. This is why my prices were much higher. I looked for and wanted the dangerous repos. Again - it was the "rush" thing.

So as for saying my "sneaking" around for repos is sissyish - I beg to differ. Not to many white guys can go into some of the areas I did alone and come out in one piece. One of the biggest fights I had during a repo was with a white guy in KY. The easiest and most accomadating was with a black guy who sold drugs in the Canton area. Took 5 cars from the guy. He even had some of them washed before I came and got them.

This is where I learned there are good and bad people all over - regardless of skin color.

In short I guess I may have repsonded incorrectly to your remarks. But people cannot continue to cite race as to why somebody did something - this will only continue and perpetuate the idiots like McMickle, Sharpton, Smith, Strickland-Saffold, etc...

The hypocrisy of these above morons and other like them is funny. As we know, they preach for being equal - yet they always use race as an excuse. Funnier is how lock, stock and barrel - they are all democrats. The judges we speak about here are democrats. Why is it they fail to see that it is the democrats that are holding them back. The entitlement programs and mind set is anything but equal. It simply says you are too stupid because you are black to do anything for yourself so we will help you. I would say this the exact opposite of what these nitwits are always screaming about. So you see anon - we are on the same page. Just not about Officer Miktarian's execution.

These above type leaders are failures for their community. The real leaders the black community needs to look up to is the mom's I will be posting about later!

Hope this clears the air with me and you. Also - give yourself some sort of name if you continue reading and commenting on here. This way I know who I am speaking with. It does not have to be your real name - just a name.

    Have a good day.
