Hollywood’s Favorite Son Continues to Ignore Cleveland
CLEVELAND, OHIO – Former State Representative Jim Trakas, candidate for Congress in Ohio’s 10th Congressional District, today commented on the intentions of Congressman Dennis Kucinich to push ahead with yet another futile attempt to have the U.S. House of Representatives impeach President George W. Bush.
“Congressman Kucinich just doesn’t get it,” stated Jim Trakas. “From Parma to North Olmsted and Lakewood to Walton Hills, people are hurting. Our economy is struggling, gas prices continue to skyrocket, and each time we go to the store it costs more to put food on the table. Congressman Kucinich apparently has spent so much time with wealthy Hollywood donors during his two presidential campaigns that he has forgotten what it is like to make ends meet.”Kucinich’s last attempt to impeach the president, just last month, was treated as an embarrassing distraction even by members of his own party. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has repeatedly stated that there will not be a vote on impeachment in her Democrat-controlled House, making the Congressman’s latest action yet another fool’s errand in a long string of pointless but time-consuming actions. It remains unclear how many staff hours have been spent researching and drafting the impeachment articles, time that could have been spent working to address Cleveland’s long-standing problems.

trakas should nail kucinich on reparations. during one of the presidential debates, dennis foolishly was the only democratic candidate that supported cash reparations to black people. i'd get that tape, make a commercial of it and nail him on it.
