Cleveland has biggest loss of residents in US

It is official - the slow bleed of residents from Cleveland and the surrounding communities has turned into a hemorrhaging of residents.

The PD --
More people left Cleveland last year than any other major city in America, the U.S. Census Bureau will report today. Since 2000, only hurricane-ravaged New Orleans weathered a sharper rate of population loss.

Cleveland's descent slowed last year and the numerical loss -- about 5,000 people between July 2006 and July 2007 -- compares favorably to the 1970s, when the city at times hemorrhaged 15,000 people a year.

This shows that the leadership of this area and their years of failed policies - NEED TO GO! In order to stop the hemorrhaging it is imperative the voters of this area open their eyes and start cleaning house by getting rid of the useless elected officials that have run this area into the ground.

Instead of running around wasting untold amounts of money on pipe dreams - our elected leaders need to be concentrating their efforts on improving this area and representing the voters that elected them!

  1. I am sure the next wave of elected Democrats will change things up for Cleveland.

Hsven't you heard the good news? We have a RPCC candidate - Debbie Sutherland - for County Commissioner!

If elected, along with Tim Hagan, she is going to fix everything up here!

  3. King have you campaigned for anyone this election cycle so far? Have you knocked on any doors for Sutherland?

  4. Thanks for asking Mr. Nose...

For this election cycle - I have not campaigned for anyone yet. As you have seen I am more than willing to post any press releases for candidates.

With little league winding down, I will be looking to see what candidates I will choose to help. I have already been contacted by the McCain camp for Ohio (not Cuyahoga) - I will be doing somethings with them in this upcoming election.

Have I knocked on any doors for Sutherland? No, I have not.

  5. king - the reason that people are leaving cleveland in droves is due to the "common denominator" and we all know what that is. it's not a skintone - it's about a misguided culture. those who find that culture and code of values to be in direct conflict with their own will leave. skin color has very little to do with it. the largest demographic group leaving cleveland at the fastest rate is the middle class blacks. check the numbers, it's true.
