It’s the magic time of year, when we select our Steaming Load of the Year. As expected, we have our own ideas on this subject, and we’ll be giving you some examples of our top candidates, shortly. So far, so good, since it’s business as usual.
This year, we decided to allow you PIGsters to join the year ending fun. The Free State of PIG invites you to sound off with your own Steaming Load(s) of the Year nominations. We’ll give you until Tuesday, December 30, 2008 to get those "You gotta flush this stinker for me" suggestions.

Here, are a few of our top candidates for Steaming Loads of the Year:
Nomination 1: Capitol Hill Clown Posse hypocrisy reaches record shattering levels.
Congresspuke Barney Frank and Stinking Senatorial turd Christopher Dodd, played a leading role in creating the subprime mortgage mess. Long after it was obvious that the subprime lending scam was destined for a dramatic implosion, Frank and Dodd continued to thwart any effort to crack down on their deep pocketed contributors at Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac.
Their hypocrisy reached undreamed of heights, when they were put in charge of ‘fixing’ a problem that they created. That's when they made this disaster worse, by
covering the butts of their guilty as sin financial scam artists.Nomination 2: A Presidential election that was, by any rational measure, a lose-lose situation for America’s sovereign individuals.
Forcing chad punchers to choose between a big government loving socialist like McCain and an unrepentant Marxist like O’Dumbo spelled disaster for our inalienable individual liberty, no matter which one emerged victorious.
Sovereign individuals could choose McCain, a dude who would stab your liberty in the back with his Nanny State loving, sovereignty hating, bull crap. OR, they could go for the gold with Messiah Barry, who will gaze fondly at this beloved Oval Office teleprompter, while his Marxist minions nuke your liberty out from under you.
Heads you lose, tails you lose.
Nomination 3: The intolerable Nanny State takeover of key segments of the American economy.

Letting Hank "Shifty" Paulson spew billions of tax dollars into the pockets of his banking buddies, who flatly refuse to tell anyone how they spent it?
Letting the Capitol Hill Clown Posse attach strings to auto bailout bills, to protect the unions whose insane contracts played a large role in destroying America’s Big 3
Automakers?Massive Nanny State intrusions into key segments of the American Economy?

Nomination 4: Letting Ramos and Compean rot in a federal jail.
They were railroaded by Vicente W. Bush’s hatchetman, Johnny "Die in a Fire You Bastard" Sutton. The man the Border Patrol agents shot lied on the witness stand, and the Feds knew it. Later, when reality reared its ugly head, he was exiled to a federal graybar where he wouldn’t cause the Feds any trouble.
Despite the stench choking rational adults from this miscarriage of justice, Ramos and Compean were denied the justice they deserved. Now, in the waning days of Vicente W. Bush’s administration, they are still getting the Oval Office shaft by a president whose record on border enforcement is a disgrace.
Vicente W. Bush pardons drug dealers, spies and other lowlifes, but the two men who deserve, at minimum, a presidential pardon - followed by a presidential apology - are passed over.
This kind of crap shouldn’t happen in the United States of America.
