Senator's number found in D. C. Madam's Black Book

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

Sen. David Vitter, R-La., is what I believe to be, the first elected official to be named as a former customer of the "D. C. Madam," Deborah Jeane Palfrey.

From Breitbart --

"This was a very serious sin in my past for which I am, of course, completely responsible," Vitter said in the statement. "Several years ago, I asked for and received forgiveness from God and my wife in confession and marriage counseling. Out of respect for my family, I will keep my discussion of the matter there—with God and them. But I certainly offer my deep and sincere apologies to all I have disappointed and let down in any way."

The statement containing Vitter's apology said his telephone number was on old phone records of Pamela Martin and Associates before he ran for the Senate.

You know it really irks me when people ALWAYS refer back tho their faith and how they say they've asked for forgiveness, using it as an excuse. I say Bullshit!

While wrong for cheating on his wife, he could at least be a man about it. Don't give the, "woe is me, for I have sinned." When he was with the escort, he may of been screaming - "OH, GOD," but I doubt very it was in a religious way.

Forgiven? Says who?

Remember, Mr."I Have Been Saved", even though you may have been forgiven, there are consequences for your actions. You see, your 'sin' is still affecting people, so your forgiveness and consequences are yet to be fully determined.

As for how this should harm his political career, well it shouldn't. This took place before he ran for office and his transgression was accepted by his wife - so it is nobodies business, other than theirs.
