In her role as Governor, Palin has served on the first-line of defense for our country. She understands what it is to be under immediate threat from possible attacks - she lived it. For her it is a reality, for Barack it is something he heard about.

Whereas Gov. Palin kept our missile defense strong - Barack would be handing out sling shots.
