Underestimating the Anti-War Forces

Don't Underestimate Antiwar Forces

With the growing influence of the antiwar left in this country, particularly emboldened by the November congressional elections, I fear for our nation as I consider the strong possibility it could elect a liberal, antiwar commander in chief during wartime.

"Chill out," you say. "These people have been protesting for years. They're just fringe extremists and no one listens to them."

Really? It would be nice if they could be so easily dismissed. But these so-called extremists -- many of them Sixties radicals -- just happen to dominate our universities, and their sympathizers "own" the mainstream media. There are far more of them in government and politics than you think, and their impact is significant.

One of them would be commander in chief today but for some 120,000 votes in Ohio, or the noble efforts of certain Swift Boat patriots to highlight the other side of his military record.

As all but those locked in closets know, Kerry said Bush administration foreign policy had caused the United States to become "a sort of international pariah for a number of reasons."......

...... Kerry announced his support for Iran's right to use civilian nuclear technology and said the West should withdraw its prerequisites for the resumption of nuclear talks with Iran.

With one party having its head firmly planted in the sand concerning the war on terror and the other having far too many imitators who seem hell-bent on proving the United States doesn't have the stomach for this war, More.....

-----------------------------------

Just want to thank the Swift Boat Veterans, POW's for Truth & the other "Smart" Ohio voters.

Could you imagine if Kerry was our President right now?

Iraq would be a killing field, North Korea and Iran would have the best nuclear technology, minimum wage would $15, and we would be back to churning butter by hand to decrease global warming.

Kerry would invite world leaders to Ohio goose hunting trips. They said as long as Cheney wasn't going with them, they would come.

Off in the field goes our Commander in Chief with his new friends - Chavez, Evo, Osama, Al-Sadr, Ahmadinejad, Bashar, & Kim Jong il. (Note: Secrete service gave blank shells, just in case tempers flared)

There would be some real Ohio hunters to shoot the geese for the photo ops. Since Kim Jong Il is little short, they don't want to offend him. So to be nice they have him stand on a mound of snow covered by corn stalks.

When picture time is over, they hop on private jet, supplied by George Soros, down to Camp David to roast the geese and sip some brandy. Although the shotguns were put away, the secrete service felt that saying grace or a prayer before eating would not be a good idea.

Joe Kennedy would drop in and his freind Chavez would introduce him to Ahmadinejad. They would hit it off immediately, sharing their beliefs on the holocaust.

The others would be talking about how they hope Fidel gets better soon, as he would have loved to be there with them. As the evening came to a close, Kerry invited them back in the summer for some wind surfing.

Ahh yes, only if....? We would be in much happier times!
