Republican, Independent, and Democratic Voters say “Demand More!”

Taking It to the Streets!

Tax Day, April 15, 2008 started our door to door campaign. Dozens of volunteers have engaged voters already to champion the need for better representation in the 10th Congressional District. Trakas for Congress Victory Team members have had great response so far and have been encouraged!

We are door to door campaigning weekday evenings and weekend afternoons!

This will turn the tide in favor of Jim and is the main focus of our grassroots effort. Jim and the Team have been successful in convincing Independent and Democratic voters that he is the right change for our region and country. We are racking up yard sign locations throughout the district, and building momentum and support.

‘Call From Home Program’ Coming Soon!

Trakas for Congress plans to launch its ‘Call From Home Program’ on May 15th!

This program invites volunteers to make phone calls to 10th District voters from the comfort of their own home! We have a goal of phoning 180,000 neighbors to spread a great message that better times are ahead if they elect Jim Trakas to Congress. Won’t you do your part? So much is at stake! Add your voice to the growing roar of people ready to elect Jim and defeat Congressman Kucinich.

Join in and help get the word out that Jim Trakas is Cleveland’s best hope as a Congressman you can be proud of!

Like High Food Prices? Thank Congressman Kucinich!

Food prices have sky rocketed, who is to blame? Would you believe that Congressman Dennis Kucinich is one of the culprits? Yes, once again, our Congressman who claims to be looking out for the little guy is sticking to the little guy, and the medium guy, and the women, and the seniors, and of course, the children.

Congressman Kucinich supported the latest Farm Bill and Energy Bill. When government interferes with the economy, bad things happen. U.S. policy pays farmers more to produce corn for Ethanol fuels, so more and more of our food supply is going into fuel for our vehicles. Less corn means higher prices for farmers who raise animals, so beef, chicken, pork, and other vegetables have increased dramatically because of Congressman Kucinich and his friends in Washington.

The lack of enough corn has dramatically increased prices for consumers who are just trying to eat to live. What’s more bizarre is that Ethanol is not cleaner burning, it is worse for our environment than oil and gasoline. Uh, oh, don’t tell the Sierra Club, they have already endorsed Congressman Kucinich.

Jim Trakas believes that food should be food, and that the Federal Agricultural Program is the wrong approach. Government should not be setting prices for food and continuing the Depression Era policies that are working against American families. Jim also believes that Fuel Cell technology, very clean with almost no emissions into the environment, will ultimately solve our energy problems at a fraction of the cost and to the good of our environment.

So if you see Congressman Kucinich in the 10th District, thank him for his votes to raise fuel prices, raise food prices, and make our environment more polluted.

  1. I am not voting for Jim b/c none of my candidates won. How could he finish higher than the Easter Bunny then Jason Werner. The election must have been rigged by those damn electronic doodad machines that that BLACK-guy-i-mean-WELL pushed on us.

My guy Werner would have had that primary if that damn Easter Bunny had not split the vote with Jim.

  2. maybe in two years. in a presidential election year? forget it. every wild-eyed democrat in the district will be out voting for the same old tired azzed goofballs who have led us to the brink of destruction. maybe he could win it in 2010.

  3. GC Young Rhino -

...have I not told you this is a RINO Free zone? Jason is a wack job! He is what you can call a conservaquack.

Anon - good points. Jim will have his work cut out for him. Even though Kookcinich could be considered a traitor to our country, has proposed using weed as an alternative fuel source, refused to meet our troops, refused to fund our troops, was almost run over by a flying saucer and and is thought of as a clown in DC - there will be some people in 10 that will still vote for him.

Jim faces a tough race - but is hands down the better qualified candidate. I don't think Jim has ever talked to space aliens wither.

  4. there's no doubt he's the best candidate. maybe the fact that the dems are gonna nominate jeremiah wrong's prodigy will help jim out a little here. we'll see. i wonder how much hate whitey rhetoric was spread about in black churches throughout the country yesterday? that otis moss jr. that took wright's place in chicago is as big an azzhole as wright and is known as the "rappin preacher." he had to learn that behavior from his daddy who "ministers" right here in cleveland. no wonder this place is so phucked up. white people here are wussies. they should take those people on "by any means necessary" as malcom x used to say.
