Bedford teacher gets ODNR award

Dan Weller, a Bedford High School physical- education teacher, recently was presented with the Na tional Water Safety Congress Award of Merit by the Ohio Department of National Resources, Division of Watercraft.

Weller has been teaching a water safety course at the school for 31 years, focusing on boating and canoeing safety. A canoe trip is offered as a finale to the class.
