From WND --
"If the Republicans don't get their act together, Hillary's going to be the next president," DeLay said in an exclusive interview with WND.
DeLay, a long-time leader in the Republican Party, had high praises for the New York senator's campaign.
"She has built the most impressive coalition that I've ever seen," he said. "It's well-coordinated. It's well-funded. The Republicans have nothing like it. The only way we're going to beat her is for us to unite as conservatives and work as hard as we can to defeat her. If we don't do that, she will be the next president."
Delay indicates he feels the Iraq War and immigration will be the two biggest issues all the candidates will be facing. I am not so much concerned about the Iraq War. I believe if things continue as they are in Iraq by the time the '08 election comes around, the GOP candidate will be embracing our successful results (Victory).
As for immigration, we know the democrats want open borders and to give away everything we have to the peach picking illegal immigrants that are taking American jobs. The leading GOP candidates need to stop pandering to the Hispanic/Latino voters. I believe most polls reflect that most Americans want more stringent border and immigration regulation.
Hillary being president would be my worst fears coming true, but DeLay may have a point. If Hillbag wins the democrat primary, which she probably will, she will be no push over for us. At this moment I am supporting Thompson for the simple reason that, none of the other GOP candidates have me thrilled spitless.
The GOP candidates need to hear this and act accordingly if they want to win the big prize!
