Is Rudolph Being Outsourced?

Astronomers are telling us if you look to the east after sunset tonight that bright little red light following the Moon is the planet Mars.

Mars is a red-tinged planet, With a very shiny glow
And if you look to see it, You will find the moon in tow.

All of the other Yuletides, Santa would have at his side
The shiny nose of Rudolph, Acting as his big sleigh's guide

But this very Christmas Eve, Santa came to say:

"Rudolph, now with Mars so bright, You can stay at home tonight."

Then all the reindeer teased him.

And they shouted out with glee:

"Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer, Outsourced to astronomy."

I'll definitely be out there looking! I believe the red light in the sky tonight will be Rudolph. Come on, what's the odds that on Christmas Eve the red light in the sky is going to be Mars!

Now had they said the bright red light was the red-nose of a Tequila saturated Mexican and his ACLU loving illegal immigrant relatives driving the sleigh for Dennis Kookcinich, who was wearing an aluminum foil hat.... maybe I would believe them.

But Mars - NO WAY!
