While Cleveland is known as one place where a person would NOT want to relocate, is in the top 12 of America's most dangerous places to live, Mayor Non-Action Jackson is still trying to chase down unregistered parking lots cheating the city out of untold amounts of taxes, and Big Head Simpleman wants to turn us into a homo haven - NOW the town drunk wants to rename a Cleveland school after someone (Barack) who has so far accomplished the same as Cleveland Clowncil – nothing...

City Councilman Zack Reed called on fellow members at Monday's council meeting to join him in urging the Cleveland Municipal School District to rename a school in honor of the nation's first black president.

The school Reed wants renamed now is named after the man credited as the first American to die spying for the United States. As the British prepared to hang Nathan Hale, he reportedly said, "I regret only that I have but one life to give to my country," according to the Connecticut Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. So we want to forego honoring a man who gave his life for our country - in exchange for a man who has not even wiped his ass yet as president! PRICELESS!

And just as the NVA and Viet Cong knew during the Vietnam War - that the propaganda value doubles when they claim women & children casualties - so do these Allah-seeking physco's. While quick to label our soldiers, it appears Murtha forgot what it was like to fight an enemy that wears no uniform and has no qualms in using civilians (women) as shields...

The U.S. forces targeting the commander surrounded a house Friday in Ghazni province and ordered everyone inside to leave, a military statement said.

Six women and 12 children left the building, but while soldiers were questioning the women they discovered one was actually a man dressed in a burqa, the traditional all-encompassing dress that most Afghan women wear. The man, later identified as the targeted commander Haji Yakub, tried to attack the soldiers and was killed, the military said.

Yakub allegedly directed roadside bomb and suicide attacks against Afghanistan's government and coalition forces in Ghazni, according to the statement. Three other militants were killed in the operation, it said. More...

Barack Obama and George W. Bush seem to have come away from their study of the Great Depression with similar conclusions:

To wit: After the Crash of 1929, the Federal Reserve did not move fast enough to save the banks and inject cash into the economy. Second, the New Deal, far from being wastrel deficit spending, was not bold enough. So it was that America wallowed in depression for a decade until the unbridled spending and mammoth deficits of World War II pulled us out.

Bush and Obama seem determined not to make the same mistake.

We are all Keynesians now.

Thus, we have the $700 billion Bush bank bailout, the $700 billion "stimulus package" Obama wants by inauguration to "jolt this economy back into shape" and the $800 billion fund Hank Paulson created to get consumers borrowing and buying again.

These come on top of Bush $455 billion deficit, the $29 billion bailout of Bear Stearns, the $105 billion in pork to grease the $700 billion bailout, the $100 billion to $200 billion to keep Fannie and Freddie afloat, the $140-billion-and-counting for AIG, the $25 billion for the greening of GM, Ford and Chrysler, the $25 billion more to save the Big Three and the $20 billion for CitiGroup.

Now much of this overlaps, and some will be retrieved. But we are still staring at a deficit that could approach $2 trillion.

How would this stack up historically?

A deficit of $1.4 trillion would be 10 percent of gross domestic product, dwarfing the postwar record 6 percent run by Ronald Reagan in the Jimmy Carter recession.

Bewailing the "Reagan deficits" has been a staple of Democratic oratory. This will stop. But the politics of this is not the point, the policy is.

Consider what we are about to do. Bush in 2008 spent 21 percent of GDP. States, counties and cities spent another 12 percent. Thus, one third of GDP is spent by government at all levels. Obama and Co. propose to raise that by another 10 percent of GDP. We may soon be north of 40 percent of gross domestic product controlled and spent by government.

That is Eurosocialism.

And where, exactly, are we going to get the money?

Americans save nothing. We spend more than we earn. Thus the levels of consumer debt, credit card debt, auto debt and mortgage debt. U.S. foreign-exchange reserves amount to a piddling $73 billion.

The only nation with the kind of cash on hand we need now -- if we don't print the money and invite another gigantic bubble -- is China, with its $2 trillion in foreign-exchange reserves. Will Beijing lend back the dollars it has piled up by selling to us?

China certainly has an incentive to keep Americans spending. For our purchases of Chinese-made goods have often been responsible for 100 percent of China's growth. China does not want to kill the American goose that lays those golden eggs -- until the goose can't lay any more eggs. Then they won't need the goose.

But should China decide to lend us the money, what will Beijing demand in interest rates and assurances that we will not default. After all, the U.S. debt is 70 percent of GDP, our savings rate is near zero, and our merchandise trade deficit is still running at 5 percent to 6 percent of GDP.

Unlike the 1950s, we are today dependent on foreigners for two-thirds of our oil and for much of our manufactured goods -- toys, TVs, radios, cameras, cars, shoes, clothes, bikes, motorcycles -- and for the $700 billion to $800 billion we borrow each year to pay for these imports.

With U.S. homeowners, consumers, companies and banks now going bust, why must the nation borrow trillions more to bail them out? So we can maintain our status and standard of living as the last superpower.

Bush and Obama are competing to shovel out trillions of dollars, so we can return to the good times of yesterday.

But wasn't yesterday the root cause of today? Didn't saving nothing and spending more than we earn, purchasing what we cannot afford in cars, consumer goods and houses, buying far more from abroad than we sell abroad -- didn't that cause this crisis and crash?

A family man in America's condition, awash in debt, spending more than he makes, would cut back consumption, find a second job and get out of debt. Or declare bankruptcy, accept the shame and humiliation, change his wastrel ways and start anew.

Is it different for a nation?

Yet we seem to believe we can borrow and spend our way out of a swamp of unpayable debt into which borrowing and spending have plunged us.

We are headed either for default on our debts and bankruptcy as a nation, or something less honorable: a quiet cheapening of the debts we have incurred by inflating and destroying the dollar, robbing our creditors of what we owe them and robbing our own people of the value of what they have earned. And so it has come to this.

What would the Founding Fathers think of us now?

I have been MIA for the last week and will be catching up on posting.

Listening to one the MSM talking melon heads the other night I heard something completely mind-boggling…

The reporter said economists are predicting the economy is worse than expected and is getting worse. The problem? Consumers are not spending money because there is no credit to give. Another stimulus package, along with more bailouts will enable lenders to extend more credit – which will make consumers start spending again.

WTF!!! Have the people running this country gotten more stupid in the past several weeks? They have already admitted they are not sure what will fix our economy and are unable to give a detailed plan on how to fix it. So the plan is to throw more money at it - without trying to fix the problem.

Besides calling Schumer a clueless cad, William Kristol offers this insightful prose - but misses the point...

Indeed, one hopes they’re not too invested in the findings of the economics profession of which they’re such distinguished products — because one suspects many of the conventional answers of that profession aren’t much applicable to the current situation. After all, wasn’t it excessive confidence in complex economic models and sophisticated financial instruments on the part of people well educated in modern economics that helped get us into the current mess?

Complex economic models? These models are of nothing more than a complex pyramid scam - and the bottom has dropped out. It was confidence in an over-inflated market with phantom dollars and accounting that has brought us this crisis. I believe the smarty-pants in DC know what the problem is - they just refuse to admit it.

The problem is, as a country & at every level, we are over-extended! Plain and simple!

Enticing people into spending more by extending more credit doesn't fix the problem - it just puts us in a deeper hole to be again uncovered at a later date. Simply put - it's just an infusion of cash to keep the pyramid scam going.

For nearly 50 years, students attending 65 Ivory Towers throughout Canada participated in the Shinearama fundraiser. For the past 25 years, Carleton University has done its part to raise money for the Shinearama's recipient, the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year, the commissars ruling over the Carleton University Student Association, decided to dump the annual charity like a bad habit. Why? Because, the disease isn’t "inclusive" enough to satisfy these knee-jerk campus Korrectniks.

How politically incorrect is cystic fibrosis? Very, because its victims are, predominantly whitey, and - GASP - male! I’m shocked, shocked, I tell you and so were the steaming turds running the student association:

‘...Every year near the beginning of fall classes, during university orientation for new arrivals, students fan out across the city and seek donations from passersby. According to the motion, "all orientees and volunteers should feel like their fundraising efforts will serve their (sic) diverse communities."...’ (Vancouver Sun)

If cystic fibrosis isn’t suitably inclusive, what about other diseases that are equally guilty when it comes to being improperly diverse? Should whitey be asked to raise money for a sickle cell charity, when the disease is largely restricted to the melanin-enriched? Should men be asked to raise money for an ovarian cancer charity, which is - DUH - restricted to women? What about having adults raise money to fight diseases which only nail tykes? Where do we draw the line? How far do these Carleton Korrectniks want to take this improperly-inclusive disease ethnic cleansing?

This giant pile of Carleton shit takes Korrectness to a whole new level. When you start dissing a disease for not being inclusive, you’ve got your head shoved WAY, WAY, WAY up your own butt. In fact, it appears to be a new world’s record.

Ironically, the commissars on this student association council, need to attend some remedial ethnicity classes, because the ‘Caucasians’ impacted by cystic fibrosis aren’t all lily white, or male. Cathleen Morrison, chief executive of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, nailed the student association commissars with this objective reality bitch slap:

The rationale for dropping cystic fibrosis as the beneficiary is not correct, she said. CF is diagnosed just as often among girls as boys, although the health of girls deteriorates more rapidly, she said. It is commonly considered an illness that affects Caucasians, but that includes people from the Middle East, South America, North Africa and the Indian subcontinent. Incoming Ohio GOP Chairman DeWine Part of Problem, Not Solution

Republican Party Leaders in Jefferson County Speak Out Against DeWine’s Comments

STEUBENVILLE, OH — Comments made by incoming Ohio GOP Chairman Kevin DeWine have outraged Republican Party leaders in Jefferson County, Ohio. At a press conference, DeWine claimed the Republican Party has lost its way because of issues like abortion and marriage and wants to abandon any focus on the issues.

“What DeWine doesn’t understand is many GOP activists and voters across the state, especially here in Jefferson County, are Republicans because they are pro-life, not the other way around,” said Mary Novick, president of the Franciscan University of Steubenville College Republicans. “If the Ohio Republican Party abandons us and refuses to voice our values, we will abandon the party.”

During the 2008 election cycle, Franciscan University College Republicans made over 42,000 voter contacts. Because of their efforts, John McCain came just shy of winning heavily Democratic Jefferson County by just 50 votes. In 2006, Franciscan University deployed the third-most students for GOTV efforts in the entire nation, and hosted a values voters forum featuring Ken Blackwell and Sen. Mike DeWine. In 2004, Franciscan students staged the biggest protest of John Kerry’s entire campaign, sparking national news coverage.

“We don’t make tens of thousands of phone calls and knock on thousands of doors cycle after cycle for the Ohio Republican Party because of issues like taxes,” said Novick. “Sure we agree with the party on the issue, but its not what motivates us to work so hard.”

Billy Valentine, president of the Jefferson County Young Republicans, said that DeWine is part of the problem, not the solution. Valentine is the former chairman of the Franciscan University College Republicans for the 2006 election cycle.

“Voters have abandoned the Republican Party not because of its message, but because of its corrupt messengers, said Valentine. “DeWine himself is part of the problem, as he voted for former Gov. Taft’s massive tax increase which is a big part of the reason why the Ohio Republican brand is in shambles in the first place. Our party needs new messengers, not a new message. DeWine is part of the problem, not the solution. It is especially obvious because since coming under fire for his comments, DeWine has not tried to make amends, and instead has defiantly denied any wrongdoing, a typical characteristic of failed leadership. He only apologizes for the backlash that has resulted from his comments, not the comments themselves.”

The Franciscan University College Republicans and the Jefferson County Young Republicans are calling on DeWine to retract his comments and to pledge to make sure that social issues remain an integral part of the Ohio Republican Party message.

“DeWine needs to stop defying those who he is supposed to lead, needs to make amends, and needs to reunite the party in a time we so desperately need it. If he is incapable of doing this he shouldn’t be anointed as the party’s leader,” said Valentine.

The Franciscan University College Republicans are affiliated with the Ohio College Republican Federation. The Jefferson County Young Republicans are not affiliated with the statewide party or any other group.

Time for a "CHANGE" in the Cuyahoga County Republican Party

I believe everyone has a right to a fair defense. Being a Republican, I also believe it is a persons right to make money. But there is a line of integrity that should not be crossed - EVEN if you are an attorney.

The PD comments on the treasure chest of money local attorneys will be raking in over the Cuy Co. corruption scandal. Again - every one being investigated has the right to obtain the best counsel they can - but that counsel has an ethical & moral obligation to decline based on past, present or future conflicts of interest. That is if they have any integrity or sense of duty.

After the RPCC Chairman Rob Frost calls for Russo to step down because of alleged misconduct in office - what the hell is the attorney for our Central Committee doing representing him!?!?!?

The top lawyers who have been retained include several who used to be federal prosecutors in Cleveland. That list includes Bill Beyer, who represents Vince Russo, and Roger Synenberg, who has been retained by Vince's father, Cuyahoga County Recorder Frank Russo.

This, and the results of this last election confirms that the RPCC, the current leadership structure, and the select "social club" members that pull the strings are nothing more than abject failures. The party has become nothing more than a hinderance in our attempts of advancing Republican/Conservative ideals and most importantly improving Cuyahoga County.

Their inability to face and acknowledge their failures, combined with a complete lack of even being relevant in Cuyahoga County politics or events, and with officers openly working against the interest of our party, willfully violate our bylaws and operate in defiance of Chairman Rob Frost - shows a leadership change from top to bottom is in order.

Please note correction;

I had a conversation with Chairman Frost and was kindly informed that Roger Synenberg is no longer legal counsel for the RPCC. Chairman Frost indicated that when he was reelected in January – Patrick O’Donnell was appointed legal counsel for the Central Committee and Dan Carter is the legal counsel for the Executive Committee.

To explain the mistake – Roger was legal counsel for the Central Committee during Frost’s first term as Chairman of the RPCC. At the time of the first post – the RPCC website still had Roger listed as holding this position. Furthermore, a fellow RPCC member indicated in at least two conversations, after Frost’s reelection, that he feels he was led to believe Roger was still representing our party. Regardless, it is incorrect.

Does that change how I feel? Absolutely not! He is still an active, participating RPCC member and I expect better - especially from someone who has held previous leadership positions in our party. Namely – being a past chairman!

A former president of the Atlantic City Council has pleaded guilty to helping set up a political rival in a videotaped sex session.

Former council President Craig Callaway is already in prison for bribery. He pleaded guilty Friday in state Superior Court in Mays Landing to conspiracy to commit invasion of privacy.

He admitted in a plea agreement to renting rooms in an Absecon motel where Councilman Eugene Robinson was secretly filmed receiving oral sex from a prostitute. Callaway will not have to testify against other defendants.

Robinson, a Baptist minister, has said that the sex was consensual and that money he gave the woman was to buy sodas.

Yeah thats it... she was trying to get him a POP when the can became stuck and she was pulling the lever - with her mouth!

The Clear Stream Avenue School in Valley Stream, N.Y., also on Long Island, will consider a renaming resolution in December. Students at the Clark K-8 At Binnsmead school in Portland, Ore., are seeking to rename it after Obama. And the prime minister of the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda has said he wants its Boggy Peak renamed Mount Obama.

Jesse Nieto deserves better from the nation he defended for a quarter of a century as a proud member of the United States Marines. Jesse Nieto’s personal sacrifice hit very close to home, when his son was killed by the Jihadikaze assault on the U.S.S. Cole. At minimum, he deserves more respect from the officers at Camp Lejeune where he’s a civilian worker.

The focal points of his banishment are the two bumper stickers shown in the accompanying images. The views expressed struck a nerve with at least two uniform-wearing Korrectniks who need to be reminded that we’re at WAR with these Jihadikaze rat bastards.

Nieto has worked as a civilian employee at Camp Lejeune since 1994. It was about 2001 when he started displaying various decals and bumper stickers on his vehicle "expressing anti-terrorist sentiments," such as "Remember the Cole, 12 Oct 2000," "Islam = Terrorism," and "We Died, They Rejoiced."

On July 31, he was ticketed on base by two military police officers for displaying "offensive material."

The ticket was issued even though other automobile-mounted slogans such as a Confederate flag with, "If This Offends You… You Need a History Lesson," a "Darwin fish" mocking Christianity, sexually explicit symbols such as silhouettes of nude women, one with "Your Child May be an Honor Student But Your Driving Sucks," and several versions of a cartoon character (similar to Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes) urinating on various symbols were allowed, the lawsuit said.

In August, after Nieto refused to remove the "offending" decals, the base magistrate issued a written order that required him to take his vehicle off the base "until all decals were removed" and banning his vehicle from all federal installations nationwide.

The order, the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina said, now prevents Nieto from visiting Arlington National Cemetery, where his son is buried. (World Net Daily)

The rubber hits the road when you read the following tidbit, which reveals that some uniformed Korrectnik got a wild hair up his butt that made him single out Jesse for this asinine, intolerable, abuse:

According to the lawsuit, Lt. Col. James Hessen, the base traffic court officer, ruled that the decals on Nieto's vehicle were "offensive," and when asked to explain, said, "'It's just what I think,' or words to that effect," the complaint states. (WND)

Jesse Nieto devoted 25 years of his life to the defense of his country. He lost his son Marc during the October 12, 2000 attack on the Cole by the Jihadikazes. He deserves better than this. He deserves a lot better than this. We wish him, and his Thomas More Law Center Legal team, a swift and comprehensive victory in this free speech battle against entrenched Military meathead Korrectness.

There’s one thing all of the politicos seem to agree on from both sides of the Aisle, at either end at Pennsylvania Avenue: The Republican Party took a major hit this election year. With Barack Obama now in the White House, and Democrat gains in the House and Senate, many people now feel the GOP really has no relevant role in Washington anymore. Or does it?

Monday, The Washington Times ran a story at the top of Page One, above the fold, describing the feelings of Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA), who paints a bleak picture for Republicans unless they get their act together soon. Cantor urges the Republican Party “to offer concrete solutions, rather than just “being content to offer principles.” He adds, “It’s the relevancy question.”

Well, Congressman, there’s no doubt that the GOP must offer some good problem-solving solutions, but what good is that if you have no moral compass to direct it? Or, as The Good Book puts it, “What profiteth a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?” The principles that guide any political party are of critical import to developing concrete solutions to the nation’s most pressing concerns. If the Republican Party wants to be relevant, it must rebuild its brand with conservative principles, like smaller government and lower taxes, to name a few. And then, it must offer “concrete solutions.”

Unfortunately, the GOP didn’t get off to a very good start in Chicago yesterday, where President-elect Obama and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) met to “seek common ground” and “move on” from the past election season, according to an article in TheState.com. Alongside Mr. McCain was close friend, Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC). According to the report, Mr. McCain and company intended to bring a more bi-partisan tone to the Republican platform.

Now, no shock there, Mr. Graham mentions that there are “areas of bi-partisan solutions [that] are needed.” And there goes the ballgame.

Earth to Mr. Graham: To the Democrats, “bi-partisan” is a code word for “vivisection.” Republicans must not buy into the narrative that their political adversaries have written for them, which is little more than a preemptive obituary.

When Republicans win, the Democrats launch holy war. There is no insult, attack or underhanded assault that could possibly be considered out of bounds. But when the Democrats and liberals win, both parties are supposed to join hands and sing kumbayah. Sure, the Democrats want to bury the hatchet—right in the Republicans’ backs. This is a prescription for disaster and a generation of irrelevance. Mr. Obama should be challenged and fought every step of the way.

There are countless examples of bi-partisan bills that have failed. The Financial Bailout of 2008, supported by Senators McCain and Obama, has only increased the national debt and put the Country in a more challenging downward spiral. Others include: Campaign Finance “Reform, which banned soft money. There is No Child Left Behind, which spends excessive federal money on a program that has produced miserably for helping improve the quality of education in America. And then, there is “The Prescription Drug Benefit”, notably the largest expansion of the welfare state
since the LBJ Years--to name a few of the bi-partisan “achievements” in Washington.

Now, let’s go back to the bedrock question: is the GOP still relevant? Well, if it continues to support failed, liberal policies, it will become little more than a footnote in history for having failed to offer a compelling conservative alternative to the Big Government socialism engineering.

If two people are doing the same job, one is redundant. And it’s usually the copycat who evanesces. So the Republicans have taken a hit. Now, they have to decide whether they want to roll over and play dead, or hit back. Right now, they seem to be reaching for the embalming fluid.

The Republican Party needs to stand strong for both social & fiscal conservative values. Without pro-life, pro-marriage voters, the Republican Party would have lost by a much bigger margin than it did.

On fiscal issues, Kevin DeWine didn't live by his own advice. As a state rep, Kevin voted for Bob Taft's tax increase--the largest tax increase in state history---plus he voted for the massive Gas Tax Increase & 151 other fee increases (ie, drivers license fee).

A fixation on social issues, continuing scandals and a worn out message are costing the Republican Party support from the young voters it needs to remain viable, the incoming chairman of the Ohio Republican Party told reporters today.

For too long, DeWine said, social issues such as abortion and same-sex marriage have driven the GOP agenda, causing it to lose voters looking for pragmatic solutions to everyday problems. "We have to exchange a fiscal message and economic message in for a social message that has dominated the messaging of this party for the last decade. We have to re-engage the middle class, step up with an agenda that solves problems and puts people first." (Whole Article)

DeWine's desire to shift away from social issues leads to uproar

ORP deputy chair Kevin DeWine told reporters at a press conference last Thursday that the party has to, "exchange a fiscal message and an economic message in for the
social message that has dominated the messaging of this party for the past decade," and said the GOP has had a "distracting focus on social issues."

"He's wrong, he's just dead wrong," said Lori Viars, a leading activist and organizer in Republican politics and executive director of the Family First political action committee. Viars said the passage of amendments in 30 states limiting the definition of marriage to between that of a single man and woman shows that social conservatism is still popular. Ohio Right to Life executive director Mike Gonidakis said DeWine doesn't look like an effective future chairman.

"Based on his comments last week, it appears that he just doesn't understand the party and how to energize the base, and quite frankly, and most importantly, how to win elections," he said. Gonidakis said DeWine had a perfect voting record on abortion issues while serving in the state House and was confused as to why he seemingly wants to move the party away from a social-conservative message.

Viars said she personally wants DeWine to step down from the leadership. "Because I think it shows that he doesn't understand the base and that's a problem if you have a party chairman who doesn't understand the base," she said. (Whole Article)

What transpires will be interesting.... The Iraqi Parliament is expected to pass the accord. While the violence in Iraq has decreased and the SURGE many were against obviously worked - setting a date in stone is a big mistake.

With this agreement and signing of this accord we bowed to the pressure of local terrorist Muqtada al-Sadr. Who by the way, should have been the target of a sniper rifle a very long time ago!

"I repeat my demand that the occupier leave the land of our beloved Iraq unconditionally, without retaining bases or signing agreements," al-Sadr said in a statement released by his office in the Shi'ite holy city of Najaf. The terrorist nation of Syria, feeling that only an immediate withdrawal is satisfactory, is stating that with the signing of the accord - the U.S. should apologize to Iraq...

Syria's information minister, Mohsen Bilal, told the AP on Monday that rather than rewarding the U.S. occupiers with the pact, Iraqis should get an apology from Washington for the damage done to their country.

Maybe Obama can send them milk & cookies when he is president and they will all of a sudden love us!

This following story makes me sick! A mother of 5 was brutally murdered in front of her 4 month old daughter by an illegal border-jumping bandito thug.

The worst about this - the illegal murdering border jumper was arrested twice prior to his killing this innocent mother. Each time he was arrested, he admitted to being here illegally and was still released each time.

Davila parked her white Chrysler Aspen SUV and stepped out. She started walking toward the store, leaving Kaylynn buckled into her car seat. An older model Ford Taurus pulled in behind Davila's SUV. A man jumped out and ran to block the door. He and Davila struggled over her purse and car keys.

A witness in the parking lot told detectives Davila screamed for her baby. The man stabbed Davila and ran back to his car, tossing the keys away. She stumbled inside the store, clutching her chest.

.....Timoteo Rios, the man charged with killing Davila, was an illegal immigrant with a criminal record. Rios had admitted to local law enforcement twice before the slaying that he was in the country illegally, but he wasn't deported, according to arrest and immigration records. More...

Kevin DeWine, the Ohio GOP Deputy Chairman & Blowhard Bennett's replacement, sounds like he is taking a cue from the Democrat supporting members of the RPCC. DeWine will be taking advice on rebuilding our lost soul of a party from Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern.

The Republican Party is experiencing an "identity crisis" and must "rethink" how it can compete in the future, the state party's deputy chairman said yesterday after watching Ohio complete its transition from "red" to "blue."

"We have left as a party our conservative roots based in fiscal responsibility and limited government," said Kevin DeWine. "We have exchanged it for large government expansion, arguably the largest government expansion in the history of our nation.

"If you add to that the growing frustration over a five-year war, the unpopularity of a Republican president, the distracting fixation on social issues, and never-ending ethics concerns both in Ohio and nationally … the electorate said it had enough, and I can't say that I blame them," he said.

On Tuesday, Republicans lost the White House to Democrat Barack Obama with Ohio's help, lost two and possibly three Ohio congressional seats, and surrendered control of the state House of Representatives to Democrats for the first time in 14 years.

After monopolizing state executive office as recently as 2006, Republicans hold one statewide executive - auditor.

There was some good news for Republicans. They maintained their 21-12 Ohio Senate majority and their monopoly of the state Supreme Court.

But Mr. DeWine said Republicans must engage middle-class, suburban, women, African-American, and young voters and adopt a "zero tolerance" for misconduct.

"We have to do a better job connecting on campuses," he said. "It's my belief that our party has lost a generation of young voters. The number of voters between the ages of 18 and 29 who look at the Republican Party as a party of choice for them is gone."

Despite Mr. DeWine's talk of a wider, more-inclusive tent, Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern said the Republican Party closes its doors too quickly to those who might want to come inside.

"There are good Republicans who can't win because the party only approves a pro-life position," he said.

"Of the 53 Democrats [in the House] on Jan. 1, 20 are pro-life. We don't have a litmus test. Kevin's words vindicate my long-held position that the Republican Party is not an inclusive party. They have a number of litmus tests that exclude good candidates."

Republicans are looking ahead at 2010, a crucial state election in which the GOP must make gains or risk sitting on the sidelines for years to come.

Three of the seats on the panel that will redraw state legislative districts in 2011 will be on the ballot in two years - governor, secretary of state, and auditor. If no changes are brought about in that election, Democrats will control that panel 3-2 and be in position to redraw the map that will shape Ohio House and Senate elections for the next decade.

RINOvich a future leader of our party? The guy should be put out to pasture! That dipweed DeWine would even make a statement so stupid - shows our party's future with him as chairman will not be much better than it is now.

It sounds as if DeWine just got in Columbus last week! Has he not been there for awhile? We have completely ignored younger Republicans over the years and at campaign times. They would much rather spin their wheels on the "get out the vote" concept that no longer is the cure-all for winning elections.

More inclusive tent? One just needs to look at the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County to see blurring our values and becoming more democrat does not work. Many of the big-wigs in the RPCC routinely support democrats - even when they run against Republicans and this does not win us elections. Though it does help the personal & financial ambitions of some - Pogue, Gunning, Synenberg, etc...

Even promoting left-leaning candidates like our loser candidate for County Commissioner, Debbie Sutherland (supported tax increases - questionable on pro-life), does not guarantee victory. A bad candidate, like Sutherland, is a bad candidate. Combine that with poor campaign tactics and a broken party structure, like the RPCC & the Ohio GOP, and it will be a long time before we win decisively again.

Deputy Chairman DeWine the change we need is not being drowned in Democrat kool-aid served up by Redfern!

An Obama Revolution? Not Hardly!

Blake Dvorak, an assistant editor at Real Clear Politics, pens a great piece of work on where our country is going politically.

Dvorak wonders if the Republican leaders have lost their way and their base, and if the Democrat leaders truly understand what their recent gains mean. The recent Democrat gains, as Dvorak points out, does not necessarily equate that our country is moving from center-right to an all out shift to the left.

So it's natural to wonder: Have we just witnessed another revolution, what historians will one day call the "Obama Revolution"? Barack Obama and the Democrats have certainly won a resounding victory on par with, if not exactly equal to, Reagan's 1980 triumph. What's not so clear -- and likely won't be for some time -- is whether America has made a shift to the left, heralding a new liberal era, or if Democratic dominance of the last two elections is merely a corrective -- a sign of displeasure with the party in power but not an ideological paradigm shift.

The electoral evidence at least suggests that something big is happening to America's ideological moorings: Factor out Obama's victory for a moment and consider: Since 2006, Democrats have won 51 House seats and 12 Senate seats, giving them a hold on Congress not seen since the 1970s. They have pushed the GOP out of the Northeast; made inroads into the Republican-dominated South; and are well ahead of the GOP in winning the West. Demographically, Democrats have put their mark on the fastest growing minority in the country, Hispanics, and seem to have won the loyalty of an entire generation of younger voters.

And yet, despite this, RNC Chairman Mike Duncan, among others, still insisted the other day that America is a "center-right" nation. But then Duncan has some evidence on his side as well. There's a reason no one talks about the "Clinton Revolution" these days, or, jumping ahead, the "Bush Revolution." Electoral victories, even two-term administrations, don't a revolution make. In fact, it was the failure of each respective administration, and their allies in Congress, to appreciate this small point that led to 1994 and 2006.

Conservatives have exit polls on their side also. Thirty-four percent of the electorate still identify as conservative, compared to 22% liberal and 44% moderate. That breakdown is roughly unchanged from 2004. Considering what's happened to the GOP brand since, it's says something about public sentiment that a third still call themselves conservative, even as fewer call themselves Republican.

Throwing some actual weight behind these numbers are the many states that have banned same-sex marriage in recent years -- currently, every state that has brought the question to a vote. Several of those voted for Obama this year and two -- Florida and California -- voted to ban same-sex marriage even as they pulled the Democratic lever. Obama's own opposition to same-sex marriage need not obscure the reality that its acceptance is a liberal tenet. More...

In my not so humble opinion - I believe the GOP leaders have lost their way. I look at myself more as a conservative than I do a Republican. I believe the leaders of our party, have lost the confidence of our base, keep trying to hang their hat on moral issues to prove their conservatism, and have completely hijacked our party. On the other hand while our party has been run into the ground by Washington Bureaucrats and RINO's wanting to move to the middle - the Democrat party has been hijacked by the far-left liberal nut bag so-called progressives.

I believe our country is made up of more center-right individuals than center-left. The gains made by the democrats are the result of years of indoctrination (60's to current) through the use of our educational system.

Obama being elected is proof that the liberal & socialist indoctrination of our youth over the years has worked for the socialist left. Through the use of our educational system, from kindergarten to college, our children have been subjected and brainwashed into buying into the left's liberal & socialist concept.

I have said before - Obama's election was a culmination of several factors that combined together & became the perfect storm....

Because of Obama's mastering of Alinsky's thoughts and agenda, and his skillfully delivered message that struck deep in the minds of the empty-headed, brainwashed masses that have been programmed over the years - he was elected president.

Obama developed his cult-like status because these brainwashed masses among the radical left - again after years of being programmed in our schools - were looking for a "leader." Thus - he was anointed president.

The silver tongue he developed over the years as a community activist and the well-planned delivery of his message, which he acknowledged in his book, enabled him to masquerade in a Kennedyesque fashion which allowed him to dupe the union democrats into voting for him.

The other factor was the obvious hate of President Bush. Voters, regardless of party affiliation, were blinded by this hate and were hood-winked into voting for Obama. Why? Because the GOP label attached to Bush hung around McCain's neck like an anchor. This GOP label is a label that we, the conservatives, through bad government, have allowed our leaders to define for us. For most of us, this is not the GOP and conservative values we believe in!

The GOP leaders, from Duncan down to county leaders, ALL need to be purged from our party. The last several elections have been disastrous and our leaders have not learned anything from these Democrat delivered ass-whippings.

This so-called movement, revolution and subsequent turn towards socialism is not because of gains by democrats or a shift to the left - but because of failures by Republicans.

We all know that many in the left continually try to remove even the slightest hint of Christianity from our everyday lives. Their attacks on Joe The Plumber and now Senator Joe Lieberman are two examples of what happens when you don't subscribe to their feelings and plotted agenda.

Many of us on the right have been very vocal about how, as the founding beliefs in Christianity are removed from our country - our country continues in a decline. The left scoffs at these rants - by ignoring the truth and the facts.

The cess-school system in the Steaming Load bull’s-eye is a blight on America called Andersonville Elementary (Tennessee). This week, they invoked their Zero Tolerance Zombie policy and nailed 8 inmates with a year-long suspension for a variety of infractions: ‘a written threat to shoot a school principal, a written "hit list," a belt buckle with a pair of brass knuckles, a loaded gun clip, a student carrying a drug, and an alleged assault on a classmate’. I hear those wheels turning, math monkey and you’re right that’s only 7.

Number 8 is the one that has my blood boiling. The infraction sounds serious: bringing a gun to school hidden in a student’s backpack. Was this a narrowly averted school shooting? Not exactly. The gun was a TOY GUN, and the student in question is a still wet behind the ears KINDERGARTNER.

How the hell do they equate a kindergartner’s toy gun with death threats, brass knuckles, and an assault on a classmate? What the shit is wrong with these asshats? I am beyond livid, I’m thisclose to loading up Old Betsy and booking a flight to the Volunteer State.

A rational adult on the local boom box dial, Terry Frank, nails it with this prose:

"Until every parent either homeschools, demands vouchers, or places their children in private schools, you're going to continue to see this kind of utter foolishness and insanity," she wrote. "As this young kindergartner was being expelled, my own little third grader was carrying his wooden rifle replica to his class project as part of his re-enactment of Daniel Boone," she continued. "Had he appeared at one of our bureaucratic institutions, he would have needed to convert Daniel Boone's gun to ploughshares."

The skunk in the state power structure is a raving Obamunist named Helen Jones-Kelley, Ted’s director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Comrade Helen admits that she did the evil deed, running a lame excuse up the Nanny State flagpole. Her attempt at ‘nothing to see here’ was a nice try, but no match for the news sleuths at the Columbus Dispatch, which ratted her out, in a series of stories.

With some REAL journalists hot on the trail, Governor Ted needed to put the potential political scandal out of his misery. Waiting until late on a Friday evening, Teddy the Weasel, without any fanfare, put Comrade Helen on paid administrative leave, the political equivalent of "laying low, until the heat is off".

Teddy the Weasel is sending up the usual political smokescreen, by ordering his Inspector General, Tom Charles, to investigate: look into "the possibility, as yet unconfirmed, that a state computer or state e-mail was sued to assist in political fund raising". Fund raising? Holy, when you’re caught red-handed, change the subject, Batman! Take your fund raising and stick it, Weasel-Breath. Your minion, Comrade Helen, deserves to be FIRED, because she used coercive government power to hound a private citizen, whose only crime is making the Marxist Messiah look bad, ON CAMERA.

An Ohio Sanctuary City?

An Ohio city that belongs more in Mexifornia than here is pondering legislation that will contribute to the illegal immigrant problem we have here.

After a recent raid by ICE that netted 5 border jumping banditos making tacos at a local Mexican beanery, the City of Oberlin’s Human Relations Commission has made the recommendation that they become a “sanctuary city.”

Officials in Oberlin are considering a proposal to allow illegal immigrants to seek help from police or fire departments without fear of being turned over to federal agents.

Critics say making the college town an immigrant sanctuary undermines the work of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, an investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security.

If the measure passes, Oberlin would join about 30 other cities that prohibit local officials from assisting immigration agents. City Manager Eric Norenberg says under the proposal, the city's police force would not assist immigration agents unless ordered to do so, possibly by a court.

While the Oberlin PD does not currently check immigration status, the chief of police voices some concern on selectively enforcing laws.

This selectivity should not come as a surprise to many of us. This “selectivity” of enforcing laws will soon become routine with the infection of socialism spreading through our country.

"Open Discovery" approved by Cuyahoga County Judges

I'm just amazed that something like this even existed - until I heard about in Cuyahoga County.

That the legal morons in this county allowed the prosecutors office to operate under these "we are God" terms is ludicris! Why was the lack of open discovery never challenged before?

Cuyahoga County judges voted Wednesday to formally adopt a controversial amendment to the rules governing criminal prosecution in the county. The new rule will require prosecutors to provide open discovery

The new rule not only requires that all evidence be turned over, but also sets deadlines for prosecutors do so. Within one week after the initial pretrial hearing, prosecutors must deliver to defense lawyers a discovery packet, which includes: All police reports, statements of defendants and witnesses, names and addresses of witnesses, lab and hospital reports and criminal records of defendants and witnesses.

Defense lawyers who receive the packets must reciprocate by turning over discovery as well. And the exchange must be completed no later than a week before the start of trial. Any attorney who violates the deadline will be subject to sanctions set by the judge hearing the case.

Under the new guidelines, prosecutors can exclude specific information that could jeopardize the safety of a victim or a witness. Defense lawyers can object to the redaction, leaving the matter for the judge to decide.

I don't understand how someone could consider this ruling controversial?

Maybe someone out there with a legal background can explain why any prosecutor with a shred of integrity and respect for the law would not want open discovery?

Kucinich's House Attacked with Paint Balls

How funny is this!

It seems while Space Cadet Kookcinich was out exploring the galaxy for a planet to be president of - his play fort in Cleveland was under siege from a paint ball attack...

Rep. Dennis Kucinich's house got a new coat of paint, but it wasn't done with brushes or rollers. Two unknown vandals, believed to be teenagers, shot Kucinich's house last week with paint balls.

The congressman's wife, Elizabeth, told police she heard banging noises on the side
of their Milan Avenue home about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. When the sun rose, she noticed the paint balls.

Later that night, the vandals returned and lobbed more orange paint balls on the front and side of the house. Elizabeth Kucinich watched the teens sprint away and jump fences through the neighborhood. She then washed the paint away with a hose, a police report said.

Police have no suspects.

The Sack Lunches

I put my carry-on in the luggage compartment and sat down in my assigned seat. It was going to be a long flight.

"I'm glad I have a good book to read. Perhaps I will get a short nap," I thought.

Just before take-off, a line of soldiers came down the aisle and filled all the vacant seats, totally surrounding me.

I decided to start a conversation. "Where are you headed?" I asked the soldier seated nearest to me. "Chicago - to Great Lakes Base. We'll be there for two weeks for special training, and then we're being deployed to Iraq"

After flying for about an hour, an announcement was made that sack lunches were available for five dollars. It would be several hours before we reached Chicago, and I quickly decided a lunch would help pass the time.

As I reached for my wallet, I overheard soldier ask his buddy if he planned to buy lunch. "No, that seems like a lot of money for just a sack lunch. Probably wouldn't be worth five bucks. I'll wait till we get to Chicago",..

His friend agreed.

I looked around at the other soldiers. None were buying lunch. I walked to the back of the plane and handed the flight attendant a fifty dollar bill. "Take a lunch to all those soldiers." She grabbed my arms and squeezed tightly. Her eyes wet with tears, she thanked me. "My son was a soldier in Iraq,..it's almost like you are doing it for him."

Picking up ten sacks, she headed up the aisle to where the soldiers were seated. She stopped at my seat and asked, "Which do you like best beef or chicken?"

"Chicken," I replied, wondering why she asked? She turned and went to the front of plane, returning a minute later with a dinner plate from first class. "This is your thanks."

After we finished eating, I went again to the back of the plane, heading for the rest room. A man stopped me. "I saw what you did. I want to be part of it. Here, take this." He handed me twenty-five dollars.

Soon after I returned to my seat, I saw the Flight Captain coming down the aisle, looking at the aisle numbers as he walked, I hoped he was not looking for me, but noticed he was looking at the numbers only on my side of the plane. When he got to my row he stopped, smiled, held out his hand, an said, "I want to shake your hand"!!

Quickly unfastening my seatbelt I stood and took the Captain's hand. With a booming voice he said, "I was a soldier and I was a military pilot. Once, someone bought me a lunch. It was an act of kindness I never forgot.'

I was embarrassed when applause was heard from all of the passengers.

Later I walked to the front of the plane so I could stretch my legs. A man who was seated about six rows in front of me reached out his hand, wanting to shake mine. He left another twenty-five dollars in my palm.

When we landed in Chicago I gathered my belongings and started to deplane. Waiting just inside the airplane door was a man who stopped me, put something in my shirt pocket, turned, and walked away without saying a word. Another twenty-five dollars!

Upon entering the terminal, I saw the soldiers gathering for their trip to the base. I walked over to them and handed them seventy-five dollars. "It will take you some time to reach the base. It will be about time for a sandwich. God Bless You."

Ten young men left that flight feeling the love and respect of their fellow travelers.

As I walked briskly to my car, I whispered a prayer for their safe return. These soldiers were giving their all for our country. I could only give them a couple of meals. It seemed so little...

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check Made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life."

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it."

Many Vietnam veterans that were wounded in combat will tell you that it was the women of the war that helped pull them through. That it was the women of the war that comforted them and made them feel special when they were most lonely and needed a caring soul.

No, I do not mean some Vietnamese girl selling her wares for a chocolate bar either! The women of war I am talking about are all heros in their own right - combat nurses!

Below is a story about Vietnam - that shows how the compassion of one combat nurse touched & saved the life of a local soldier....

A rocket-propelled grenade streaked from the hillside, blasting the Jeep ahead of Hank Vasil's M-113 armored personnel carrier. As a second grenade slammed into his own vehicle, Vasil brought his M-60 machine gun to bear on the enemy's position near Ban Loboy, South Vietnam.

Rounds cranked from his gun just as a third grenade hit his 300-pound gun shield, tossing it 100 feet in the air. The blast ripped into Vasil's face and upper torso. Two fellow soldiers on either side of him were killed.

Veteran's Day, 1969.

Since that day, among the flashbacks of war's horrors that Vasil, 61, of Brook Park, has lived with was a glimmer of kindness.

A glimpse of a hospital nurse's nameplate, "Rice," flashing through the mist of pain and fog of anesthesia. Then, a simple act of compassion that this former member of an Army Armored Cavalry Recon Unit never forgot. More....

Howard Dean to Step Down as DNC Chairman

Boy this sure is good news! Howard Dean is stepping down as DNC Chairman at the end of his term in January 2009.

Even though Dean’s big mouth derailed his Democrat presidential primary bid in 2004 – many Democrat gains were made under his watch. So – idiot or not – Dean set forth on a winning strategy. In fact, you could almost say - Dean kicked some elephant ass!

Speech Police getting a Head Start; Judge bans use of words "Illegals" and "Aliens"

We can get ready for a whole lot more of this! Every ABC liberal group or special rights group will be mobilizing the Speech Police that have infiltrated our justice system masquerading as judges.

A robed rube on the AZ Supreme Court, Chief Justice Ruth McGregor, has banned the words "Illegals" and "Aliens" in all AZ courtrooms. After receiving a letter from Arizona's Hispanic bar Association crying that the terms are inappropriate....

In a strongly worded letter to the chief justice, Los Abogados’ president says attaching an illegal status to a person establishes a brand of contemptibility, creates the appearance of anti-immigrant prejudice and tarnishes the image of courts as a place where disputes may be fairly resolved.

It further points out that no human being is illegal and that a national Hispanic journalism association has roundly criticized the reference for dehumanizing a segment of the population. The letter goes on to criticize the state’s High Court for using the term “illegals” in at least two opinions and the term “illegal aliens” in dozens of others.

It concludes with a list of acceptable and unacceptable terms relating to illegal immigration. Among those the group wants banned are; immigration crisis, immigration epidemic, open borders advocates, anchor babies and invaders. Among the acceptable terms are foreign nationals, unauthorized workers and human rights advocates.

I hope Justice McGregor comes down with a double dose of Montezuma's Revenge!

Barack's Aunt Fighting Deportation Orders

Well isn't that just the cat's ass! Obama's Aunt Zeituni Onyango, has again refused to leave the country after being brought here 9 years ago on a tourist visa from Barack. The Highest One's aunt has hired a lawyer to fight her deportation orders.

Onyango, who intends on fighting her deportation orders, is staying with relatives in Cleveland while her attorneys look for a loop hole in the laws and prepare the papers for another asylum request. Onyango has been living illegally in a Chicago Public Housing unit after having her original asylum request rejected in 2004.

Cleveland attorney Margaret Wong told the AP on Friday she is exploring legal options and may file a motion to reopen Onyango's case or file an appeal for her to stay on humanitarian grounds. She would not discuss Onyango's reasons for seeking asylum in the United States.

The publicity around Obama's aunt's case could convince an immigration judge to rethink her asylum request, said Victor Cerda, the former director of Detention and Removal Operations at Immigration and Customs Enforcement. She and her lawyers could argue her risk of harm in Kenya is even greater than before, because of the international attention brought to her case. More...

Obama Already Apologizing for "Careless & Offhanded" Remarks

Much like in his campaign when Obama would have to apologize, re-explain and/or clarify his comments - he tripped up on his second day as President-elect.

Addressing his best buddies in the media during a press conference, Obama's snide remarks about former First Lady Nancy Reagan were completely tasteless and out of line....

At a news conference in Chicago, Obama said he had spoken with all the living presidents as he prepares to take office in January. Then he smiled and said, "I didn't want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about doing any seances."

Obama spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter said the president-elect later called Mrs. Reagan "to apologize for the careless and offhanded remark."

With Russia aiming missiles at Poland, Iran possibly having tested a nuclear bomb, and Al-Qaeda licking their lips over Obama's election we, as a nation, cannot afford his "careless and offhanded remarks."

Mr. Barack "Damn, Alinsky's plan worked" Obama must understand that "I wanna be President" playtime and his days of voting "present" are over - American lives and livelihoods hinge on his every word!

Antics: Came to a political knife fight, unarmed.

Four decades ago, John McCain demonstrated a level of courage and devotion to this once great nation that was heroism on a mind-boggling scale. He proved, conclusively, that he’s got a deep reservoir of courage at his disposal. He has the stones to swim against the tide, a trait which earned him the label ‘maverick’, which he wears with so much pride. He had the stones to stay in the Oval Office hunt, during the Elephant Clan primary, when everyone counted him out.

Like I said, McCain has guts, and is up for a fight, but that brings us to the burning question. Where was all this grim determination...where was all this "I’ll get the job done, no matter what it takes" when he really needed it? Where was his fighting spirit when it came to the General Election?

He proved that he was willing to pull out all the stops, when he was fighting that uphill battle for his party’s nomination. Unfortunately, his mind turned to mush, his spine turned into jello, when he faced off with a Dumbo-eared Marxist Messiah named Barry. Cowed by this upstart, McCain played Charlie Brown to Obama’s Lucy and let himself be suckered, repeatedly, when Obama kept yanking that political football out of reach at the last possible minute.

That dauntless, bloodied, but unbowed, warrior John McCain would have kicked Barry’s skinny ass. Unhappily, that’s not the McCain who entered the General Election arena. Instead, we got a weary warrior who never seemed to understand the folly of showing up for a political knife fight unarmed, when your opponent shows up with a machete.

Naval aviator John McCain is a hero and I salute him for it. Presidential Candidate McCain expected America to hand him the presidency on a silver platter, and he got his ass kicked. If he didn’t really want the job - that’s the way he ran his campaign - why didn’t he have the spine to move aside and let someone more highly motivated take on the Messiah Barry juggernaut?

That’s why, for refusing to take the gloves off and fight for that top job...for refusing to expose Messiah Barry as the most dangerously incompetent individual who ever ran for president...for failing to put it all on the line in defense of this once great nation, the way he did four decades ago, John McCain is the Politically Incorrect Gazette’s Girlieman of the Week.

When the two scumbags showed up at the door of a Fort Campbell (Kentucky) woman on October 30th, they looked like the real deal. We might never know what the pair had in mind, because the woman, quite rightly, didn’t allow them into her home. Instead, she tried to verify the information she’d just been given:

We began as a nation in which a small, well-defined island of limited government was surrounded by a sea of individual rights. From time to time, a member of the VRWC will kick their RNC talking points habit long enough to notice how far this nation that was conceived in inalienable liberty has drifted from its founding principles. They’ll thunder with suitable alarm, about the ‘creeping Socialism’ that is slowly suffocating those 'inalienable rights' which were so eloquently advanced by our Founding Fathers. As usual - it’s probably Kool-Aid withdrawal - they’re on the right track, but still a step or two away from the brink, where they need to stand to get the big picture on America’s plight. In this brave new world, excellence, achievement, and success are vilified while mediocrity, conformity and sacrifice are lauded. Life is inherently unfair. This is a fact of nature which the neo-Marxists who were swept into power in the 2006 elections are trying to eradicate through their war on excellence/achievement in American Society. These neo-Marxists, hide behind such buzz words as 'true democracy' ‘shared responsibility’ and 'equality'. They clamor for 'a level playing field' that enriches everyone, regardless of their individual competence/capabilities, by stealing from those undemocratic, self-centered over-achievers whose exploits make these equality-seekers feel inferior. The equality for which the neo-Marxists and the 'common man' they champion clamor is an equality of results, where the incompetent enjoy the same rewards as the competent, invariably at the expense of the competent. Such a system necessarily reduces all performance levels to that of the least competent person in the group, leveling the playing field at the expense of excellence.

How long does this neo-Marxist sludge, none of whom has earned an honest buck in their alleged life, expect the achievers, the competent, their designated 'slaves', to keep producing for them? They don't care. They'll use them up and throw away their spent husks without batting an eye. Anti-rational by nature, mystics to the core, the neo-Marxists are convinced that once the achievers, those dastardly Capitalists, are eliminated, the 'underclasses' will magically, miraculously, selflessly, become competent. These faceless cogs in the world economic machine will produce, tirelessly, ignoring - for the first time in their lives - their own need as they work for the benefit of society as a whole. The fact that this scheme has been tried, repeatedly, failing miserably each time, doesn't discourage them in the least. Convinced that, as Tammy Bruce so cleverly put it, they’re smarter than the average bear, they have deluded themselves into thinking that they can make a fatally flawed scheme like Marxism work. It has to work because, among other things, "It’s for the children".

In their neo-Marxist Eden, these delusional dipsticks plan to banish 'failure', by sacrificing 'success'. Mediocrity, that bland 'sameness' so coveted by the incompetent, is destined to become the ultimate virtue. The rugged individual, that uniquely American over-achiever whose bold vision and innovation made so many significant changes, improvements, to the proverbial 'human condition' will be banished from the American landscape. One must disappear into the teeming faceless horde, or perish. Those perpetual victims of Capitalist tyranny, the 'underclasses', can’t wait to trample the inherent property rights of the achievers in their mindless zeal to satisfy
their endless 'need', without earning it.

During those initial, heady days, weeks, of this neo-Marxist American Eden, there will be ample unlooted achiever wealth to sustain everybody. But, like any orgy of looting, that stolen wealth won’t last forever. Eventually, things will start breaking down and essential staples of life will become scare. The parasite horde, the underclasses, won’t have the means, or the desire, to replace these essential items. The achievers who were the primary victims of this class warfare won’t be riding to the parasite’s rescue, either. It didn’t happen in Russia, or North Korea, or anywhere else Marxism was unleashed and it won’t happen here, either. That’s when ‘society as a whole’ will devolve into smaller groups - probably based on race/ethnicity - that will begin fighting for the remaining scraps. It’s going to get ugly because it’s the natural cycle for liberty suffocating Marxism.

The economic collapse that's destined to accompany the looming reality check will devastate the incompetent, but the achiever, that American icon, the rugged individual, will survive and rebuild. This long overdue bitch-slap will teach these class warriors and the ‘smarter than the average bear’ cretins who aid and abet them an essential lesson: A host (achiever) can survive without a parasite (class warrior), but the parasite dies without the host.

After the parasites are forcibly disconnected from their host (the achievers) those dauntless rugged American individuals will rebuild America. It has been brought to our attention that one of our endorsed RPCC candidates has a Barack Obama sign in her yard.

I am tired, no - sick and tired of continually being asked to support candidates that do not support the values, morals and bylaws of our party. Therefore King’s Right Site is rescinding our endorsement of Annette Butler for Cuyahoga County Prosecutor.

Some in our party have expressed hesitation of “outing” Butler so close to the election. Some have voiced concern that maybe the sign is not hers and we should allow her to explain. Rumor has it that Butler claims the sign is not hers and that her daughter placed it in their yard.

Here are some of the comments going around (in blue) and my rebuttal….

'...maybe Annette had no choice and perhaps someone put the sign in her front lawn. I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.'

Give me a break! This is the United States - what choice didn't she have? If someone put the sign in her yard - she could have removed it.

'She could be put in a tough position living on East Blvd.'

Here is where the idiocy shines through - If an Obama sign in her front yard puts her in a tough position because she lives on East Blvd - how will she be able to be tough on crime when some of the people she will prosecute may also live on East Blvd.?

'I know several people who had signs put in their lawns and did not know what to do. One was a Mason sign.'

Mason's munchkins are known for just placing his signs in people yards. This has been a trademark of his for several years. But I must ask are people really that stupid? They did not know what to do when an unwanted sign was placed in their lawn? How about remove it!

Under this ignorant line of thinking - these people would allow a complete stranger to put something in their yard they do not agree with. Yet I bet they would call police if a strange car were parked near their house.

'Certainly we have all contributed to causes we do not believe in...even some of our big GOP contributors.'

Since I have dignity, self-respect, pride, ethics, a spine and a strong desire for being able to look in the mirror and into my sons eyes - I can say I am not one of the "we have all" type people. Again, this goes to what I stated above about the problem with the "sheep" in our party.

How in the hell could someone with even an ounce of integrity and a shred of dignity support something or someone they do not believe in? This is the one reason the RPCC continually puts forth poor candidates - because the "sheep" in our party support things they do not believe in.

Barack Obama's 1/2 HR Spin-mercial: Even MORE Lies Exposed

Now that Barack is getting a little more scrutiny - it becomes more clear that he has a problem with telling the truth. Or maybe is it that some in the MSM are starting to see through his empty message and see him for what he truly is - a silver-tongued, done-good community activist.

Recently Barack has had reporters removed from his plane because they did not subscribe to his socialist "share the wealth" views and their publications endorsed John McCain. An AP writer also questioned the validity of Barack's 30 minute spin-mercial that delayed the World Series.

As many have been saying - when given a hard look Barack offers nothing. There is no substance and the truth is often lacking...

Barack Obama has outlined a series of new spending initiatives ranging from health care to education to the war in Afghanistan that could end up costing $1 trillion over his first term, according to independent experts. In his half-hour infomercial on Wednesday evening, the senator from Illinois repeated earlier assurances that he had "offered spending cuts" to pay for every cent of the post-election bonanza that he plans to shower on his fellow Americans.

Do Obama's figures add up?

The Facts

Obama's claim is artfully worded. Note that, in contrast to his Republican rival, he does not claim that he will balance the federal budget after four years. That seems a virtually impossible task -- given the fact that he wants to extend most of the Bush tax cuts (for everybody making less than $250,000 a year) beyond their expiration date of 2010. The independent Tax Policy Center projects a budget deficit under Obama of $520 billion in 2013, compared to a presently projected deficit of $147 billion.

What Obama does say is that he will pay for his new spending plans with even bigger spending cuts.

Whether you believe that he will deliver on this pledge depends on how much weight you give to politicians' promises that are not supported by detailed explanations of how exactly they will be put into effect. On paper, the Land-of-Lincolner might be correct, says Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, which has analyzed the two candidates' spending plans. By her calculations, Obama has promised $990 billion in new spending over his first four-year term -- to be offset by $989 billion in spending cuts.

The problem, however, says MacGuineas, is that Obama "is very specific on his spending proposals, but much less specific on his savings proposals." Furthermore, the Illinois senator has not made his new spending proposals contingent on securing the corresponding spending cuts.

Put another way, Obama's new spending plans are very concrete: a new College tax credit ($134 billion in 2013), expanded health care coverage ($115 billion), a refundable tax credit for workers ($72 billion). Many of his proposed spending cuts belong to the pie-in-the-sky category.

Take the proposal to cut health care costs by $2,500 per family per year through the adoption of new technologies, improved management techniques, and so on. "That's a real stretch," said John Sheils, senior vice president for the Lewin Group, a consultancy company that has studied the health care plans of the two candidates. By the Lewin Group's calculations, the savings are more likely to be in the region of
$700 per family, based on the plans outlined by the Obama campaign.

"If you are going to be definitive about the savings, you have to be equally definitive
about how you are going to achieve them," said Sheils. He said that Obama had "some interesting ideas" for health care savings, but had failed to outline enforcement mechanisms for patients and medical staff that fail to follow his guidelines.

Similar caveats apply to Obama's other savings promises, including reforming government spending ($17 billion in 2013), elimination of waste and obsolete programs ($50 billion) and a phased withdrawal from Iraq ($156 billion). Some of these cuts will depend on events at least partially outside Obama's control (like the war in Iraq), while others (such as the slashing of earmarks) will require concessions from Congress that no previous president has been able to achieve.

"Every president has a list of programs they would like to eliminate, but every one of those programs has a massive lobbying system in place to preserve it," said Thomas Schatz, president of Citizens Against Government Waste, a taxpayer watchdog group. "Members of Congress will readily create new programs, but they are very reluctant to cut old ones."

Schatz cites the example of Economic Development Administration, which Obama has talked about eliminating. The agency, which has the mission of generating jobs, has been slated for the chopping block for years. When it last came up for re-authorization, in 2004, the House voted 388-31 to keep it. Only one Democrat voted against.

The Pinocchio Test

Promises to cut government spending are pretty much worthless unless accompanied by convincing explanations of how precisely they will be implemented. Obama has failed this basic test. Vague targets are insufficient, particularly when there is no real link between the promised spending cuts and the new spending programs.

Did Iran Test a Nuclear Bomb?

If this is true - all the more reason to elect John McCain.

This past Saturday night, southern Iran experienced what was reported as a significant earthquake - a seismic event measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was just north of the strategic Straits of Hormuz, which separates Iran from Abu Dhabi and Oman and which is the gateway to the Persian Gulf.

The report quotes an Iranian nuclear scientist who claims to be working in uranium enrichment for the project, and who said that the "quake" was acutally an undergound nuclear bomb test.

Israel Insider adds that the test/quake was actually the second in a series. Nine days ago, a 4.8 Richter scale event occurred, with its epicenter only five kilometers away from the weekend tremor.

The Israel Insider source reports that two nuclear rockets are currently ready - and are intended for use against Israel in the coming months. More...

This just keeps making me think about Biden saying how if Barack is elected our country will be tested and that Barack is not ready to lead.

But Biden was clear on who he did feel could lead our country in the trying times we face - John McCain.

Cleveland named among Top 12 of American "Dangerous Destinations"

Another great title for Cleveland! The current leadership is racking up the accolades!

Of course the talking heads of all the "I Love Cleveland" do-nothing, feel good groups - dispute Greenbergs claims - as we would only expect them too. Touting many of the attractions in the downtown area - they fail to realize getting to and from them can be DEADLY.

But maybe our leaders are smarter than we think... the businessmen from the conventions they plan on attracting with the still missing MedMart let's say- go out for a morning jog and get nearly beaten to death by a group of thugs or maybe they go to the theater and get ran over by some young punks in a stolen car - they will have an opportunity to see first hand how some of the new medical technology works!

Iran threatens US with suicide bombers

As predicted by Barack's running mate - Joe Biden - if Obama is elected we will face an attack.

Referring to the US army's attacks in Pakistan and Syria, Larijani said they would not be answered with diplomatic protests.

"The US method and conduct, expressed by this aggression, will only be stopped by a clear-cut and unexpected response, whose grounds were set by the martyr Hussein Fahmida," Larijani said during a parliamentary session on Wednesday.

Fahmida was 13 when he detonated an explosive device he carried on him, destroying an Iraqi tank during the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980s.

"America should be aware not to put its huge body on top of the suicide bombers' explosive devices," Larijani said.

Reports are now coming out that the recent earthquake in Iran was actually a nuclear bomb test. As the election nears and we await the expected message from Osama Bin Laden, there is confirmation that Al-Qaeda is also gearing up for another attack on U.S. soil.

It took Barack 20 yrs to figure out Rev. Wright, who knows how long it took him to figure out Ayers was an American terrorist ( if he even does) and that Rezco was a crook. In this dangerous time, as a nation, errors in judgement like this by our President may cost an untold number of American lives - be it here or abroad.

So can we afford for Barack to be our president? Well, his running mate does not think so...

Obama Storm Troopers Purge Dissent - Kick reporters off plane

Obama has recently criticized the United States by accusing our country of having Nazi-like policies and tendencies - yet Obama & his campaign staff once again show their brown-shirt, goose-stepping techniques of silencing any dissenting speech.

We all witnessed how the democrats have crucified poor 'Joe the Plumber" and many others for not submitting to the Obama agenda. Anyone who has spoken out against or has questioned Barack's position, policies or platfomr have been subjected to the lefts tactics of suppression.

Some in the MSM are slowly awakening from their stupor and are now finding themselves victims of Barack O-Nazi's brown-shirted storm troopers he calls his campaign staff.

The Obama campaign has decided to heave out three newspapers from its plane for the final days of its blitz across battleground states -- and all three endorsed Sen. John McCain for president!

The NY POST, WASHINGTON TIMES and DALLAS MORNING NEWS have all been told to move out by Sunday to make room for network bigwigs -- and possibly for the inclusion of reporters from two black magazines, ESSENCE and JET, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

Despite pleas from top editors of the three newspapers that have covered the campaign for months at extraordinary cost, the Obama campaign says their reporters -- and possibly others -- will have to vacate their coveted seats so more power players can document the final days of Sen. Barack Obama's historic campaign to become the first black American president.

Only AFTER the papers endorsed McCain are they left with no seat. Of course the Obama Storm Troopers claim the papers endorsement of McCain had no bearing in their decision. But Washington Times Executive Editor John Solomon would disagree...

The Obama campaign informed The Washington Times Thursday evening of its decision, which came two days after The Times editorial page endorsed Senator John McCain over Mr. Obama. The Times editorial page runs independently of the news department.

"This feels like the journalistic equivalent of redistributing the wealth. We spent hundreds of thousands of dollars covering Senator Obama's campaign, traveling on his plane, and taking our turn in the reporters' pool, only to have our seat given away to someone else in the last days of the campaign," said Washington Times Executive Editor John Solomon.
