  3. Yes Sir Robbie Frost sure can pick em can't he? Well it does not suprise me, the incompetent boob has to put up some kind of appearance of doing something. Something useless but something.

  4. This is almost too funny to be true. she actually interviewed for the open seat that mason got

  5. Yes, here is a little info on another "quality cnadidate" Frost will try and force us to support.

She's an out-of-the-closet lesbian, criminal defense attorney, and lifelong Democrat.

In 2006, she was going to run against an incumbent republican, but got beat in the Dem primary (despite having most of the endorsements, including the PD's).

It is amazing, but not surprising this is the best candidate party "leaders" could get!

Like our current county candidates she has absolutely no shot of winning.

Finally, after having been burned by by people like Eileen A. Gallagher and Kristin Sweeney, you'd think they would've learned their lesson.

  6. I heard she was planning to run against Kathy Sutula in '06 or '07, but got beat by that Bloom. The revolving door of political hacks continues here in Kuyahoga Kounty

  7. She is registered as of today as a Democrat and has been forever. What is our scanning committee doing? What the hell is the chairman doing? The blame for this is ultimately his,I do believe.

  8. All this chatter and I cannot verify with any RELIABLE sources that she is the Republican Candidate. NOT COOL.

    ReplyDelete
  9. WOW!

Just got home from work so I will jump in the fray here...

to the last anon... Prince usually has pretty good sources. SO I will give him the benefit of the doubt on this post. But - there is always the chance he may be wrong.

If by some chance this women is not the candidate - knowing Prince for I'd say at least 20 years or so - I am sure he would apologize for posting misinformation GIVEN to him by his source.

But I will state that if by some chance this women turns out not to be our candidate - I would say the chatter on here and other things I have understood to have taken place today forced the RINO clan to change their mind.

  10. technically, she's not the Republican candidate yet because the central committee hasn't taken a vote on it.

as of yesterday morning she was the only person to have screened for this seat, and considering that the central committee meeting is tomorrow, it's a good bet that she'll be the candidate (unless officials have decided to withdraw her candidacy)

  11. Sounds like the perfect candidate for this group.

  12. wouldnt it make more sense to move that Butler person into this race

  13. For those interested, I've learned that there will be two more candidates interviewed prior to tonight's meeting.

Hopefully they're better than this possible selection.

  14. looks like you guys posting this has them pissed and worried down at HQ. They were trying to keep this under wraps. Good job guys keep it up.

  17. Dear readers,

The above two comments were posted under the names - chairman Rob Frost & Roger Synenberg. While they may be funny, please be advised the comments were not left by either individual.

If it where them, the comment would be left under - anonymous.

  18. Well Prince was right about the Democrat for Judge. How did everyone like the spin the Chairman put on that? Well she is wanting to come over and we welcome her. I almost hollered out "tell her to pull a Republican Ballot in the Primary and then we'll talk to her."
I cannot believe we are SO DESPERATE to have someone, anyone for a candidate that the Chairman would have placed a registered D in the Republican slot. Thank You King for exposing this ugliness. Thank You.

  19. I heard it was announced that she was changing parties. I didn't think she was appointed to run. I heard it was a Patricia Barker or something like that. Passalaqua won't run for anything next year until she becomes a republican. GOPFlame...were you there (at the CC meeting?) Can you clarify for us the appointments?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Nosebleed,
Why do you always take up for Rob Frost? Bring your head(or nose) out in the fresh air and maybe you could understand what has been going on. The scuttlebutt was that the RPCC Chairman Frost et al. WAS actually going to run this Passalaqua as the Republican Party candidate for Judge. Until news of it hit the Blogs and people discussed it and some started calling Headquarters, questioning and complaining. The selection Committee interviewed two candidates the day of the meeting. The day of the meeting? Come on.
Kevin Rumes and yes Pat Barker were interviewed. But that was a reaction, I can assure you the change was made simply to avoid some more embarrassment to the RPCC Leadership.

    ReplyDelete
  21. At least Rumes is a decent person who did eveything he could to win his Parma Muny race against impossible odds. If he had the resources, he'd spend them.

I'd be proud to support him.

While she's not a real Republican, Edele Passalaqua is also a decent person who at least would have done everything in her power to win.

Pam Barker has spectacular financial resources who did nothing but whine and complain when other people wouldn't pay for her last campaign instead of doing what most judicial candidates who have resources and are serious do - spend whatever they have to out of their own pocket - even if it means taking out a 2nd mortgage.

Oh- I forgot - she is also a Magistrate for a DEMOCRAT Judge, who recruited her to run so she could score points in a catfight against another Democrat Judge.

She's running this time only so Frosty won't have to face questions about why top members of his team were recruiting someone like Passalaqua.

Anyone who gets her little "values voters" newsletter can see how she fell hook line and sinker for Frosty's American Solutions snow job.

Revival in the Cuyahoga GOP my ass, Nose.

In my mind, Barker is the worst of them all. At least Rumes and Passalaqua actually want to win, although neither one would.

Barker won't win either, but she doesn't even care.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I was referring to our friend "The Nose" in regards to falling for the American Solutions thing.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well apparently not just the nose was fooled, but also the bozos at RPCC HQ fell for it too. Honestly, our platform is ripped off of Newt Gingrich's website? -They don't even try and hide it? The average undergrad in college has the common decency to at least change some wording and change the font when they are plagarizing. How lazy is the RPCC?

    ReplyDelete
  24. I have to say that the American Solutions Platform is a tremendous step up from the piece of crap brought forward by Akers and Sutherland.

Marshall Tucker is to be commended and Rob Frost chose well for our Platform Committee Chairman.

Good is Good Gentlemen. We cannot always be 'The Party can do no good'. Bull. They can do a lot of good and I will stand by them when they are right and depart from them when they are wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anyone thinking that Passalaqua was not going to be our candidate before the rank & file members of our party for once stood and defied party leaders – you must stop ignoring the facts.

Party loyalty is an admirable trait – but blind support in defiance of all reasonable thinking does nothing to improve our party or the Cuyahoga County voters.

I do not believe Passalaqua should be demonized here. The woman, although of a mold that is not in any way consistent with a conservative thinking person, let alone a county republican party, should have never even been considered for the nomination.

GOP Flame is correct in saying that the so-called party leaders began scrambling for any warm conservative body after this information was posted here and after a dedicated member of our party began alerting ward leaders and Central Committee members. It was only after rank & file voices from the party were heard that other candidates were interviewed. And yes the interviews of Rumes & Barker were conducted the same day of the meeting.

A few things should be noted –

Passalaqua lost in the democrat primary that had she won, would have run against Judge Sutula. Judge Sutula was at the meeting that night. Do you think it was a coincidence that she was there?

In my opinion – being the highest vote getter of all Cuyahoga County judges – Judge Sutula is our best electable candidate for any position. That our party would think of putting up a person who could have possibly been her democrat opponent – is a slap in the face of our party and Judge Sutula.

Can you really buy that an openly gay, and activist attorney from the opposite end of the political spectrum of our party, will turn into a conservative thinking person overnight?

When is the last time at a county meeting that a democrat just showed up so they could publicly tell us they were going to become a Republican – next year?

One can see Passalaqua has an admirable quality of an inner fire that was apparent when she briefly spoke – but party leaders should be ashamed for even letting this women interview for this nomination. The party should be embarrassed that the decay they have caused, and the Central Committee members have allowed, has put us in a position where we are forced to seek out democrats for our possible candidates.

Once again, due to the lack of building the party – we are unable to find an even remotely viable competitor against Lance Mason. We won’t even begin with how our parties support structure is broken. And by this I do not mean the dwindling volunteer support.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I am sorry I meant Tucker Marston. Our Platform Committee Chairman. I do think Newt Gingrich has the real solutions to America's problems and if the RPCC borrows them, I do not believe either Newt nor myself have any problem with that.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I had two people blast me in this post for no reason at all. GOPflamer, I asked you a decent question because I thought you were a person that was at the meeting, and you call me nose bleed. Anyone with the word flame in their name must be gay. I have no idea whay you attacked me? I asked if you could clarify for us the answer. I have defended you on ocassion on these forums and you turn around and attack me? Also, Bill Mason's next gay lover, where did I ever mention the America Solutions thing? Do any of you read the posts on this board or do you just shoot "flame" from your a$$es.

King, I am sorry to fly off the handle here, but I have been unjustly hit in this forum. Until someone can point out to me where I mentioned the American Solution thing or "taking up for Rob Frost", I will remain pissed off.

GOPFlamer, do you think you know me personally? Because trust me, you don't.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Nose there is no need to apologize. Have at it and speak your mind! As I have stated before - your comments are welcome here.

I do not see where you brought up the American Solution or see where you defended Rob Frost. From your comment it appeared you were only asking a question. But when you stated -- "I heard it was announced that she was changing parties. I didn't think she was appointed to run.," it could be taken that you were buying into the story being sold from HQ.

As for the comments regarding the American Solution being adopted by our party - it is a joke! I will make a post on my feelings soon about this. GOP Flame - I agree when RPCC does something good they should be commended. But I do not see how, or for what, that they should yet be commended.

  29. I am a BIG BAD ASS (behind my keyboard. But I am a B&*ch really, because I dare not say who I really am lest someone might pound my face into the pavement. My face and my nose I dare not show.

    ReplyDelete
  30. OH Don't you fella's piss me off. I will let out a big girl scream and piss on the floor right. I will do it Don't dare me.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Anon - you are a chicken shit asshole! By posting anon it looks as if you are the keyboard tough guy!

Pretty Klassy guy you are threatening a woman. Speaks volumes about your character - you must be a democrat!

Nose was attacked on here and then defended herself. As she has every right too. You don't like it - make your argument on merit - not by being a chicken shit and threatening a women.

    ReplyDelete
  32. The last comment from "the nose" was not truly me.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Let's play the game: Who is THE NOSE?

    ReplyDelete
  34. I was attacked on here for NO reason.Whaaaaa.
Please Mr. King help me. Tell me it was OK to call them faggots and act like someone who has NO class.
But I want to be treated with respect?
Mr. King has really sunk to a new low defending such baseless comments(OH it's OK dear, you talk any way you want to Honey snookums)
Disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I was attacked in a baseless manner, I attacked back with a baseless comment. The only reason I addressed King is because this is his site, and he let's us post here freely. Also I was attacked for no reason. If you re-read my initial post, what did I say for GOPFlamer to call me nosebleed? Nothing. I am not whining, but it is quite clear that no one likes GOPFLamer. The reason I say that is because I proved that if someone asks him anything he immediately thinks he is being attacked. It's not like I said, "GOPFlamer, you were out of the clink for that meeting. Can you clarify for us what happened that night?" I have defended him on other sites when someone named PartyIntegrity attacked him. He doesn't even know who is friends are because he alienates people trying to be civil with him. Idiot.
