Mayfield Mayor Bruce Rinker gets the Boot from Cuyahoga County Democrat Party

For supporting Republican candidate for County Commisioner, Debbie Sutherland, the Cuyahoga County Democrat Party has told Mayfield Mayor Bruce Rinker - See Ya' don't let the door hit you in the ass!

From the PD --
Mayfield Mayor Bruce Rinker, a Democrat, will be thrown off the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party Executive Committee once the party confirms his support of Republican Deborah Sutherland, who is a candidate for county commissioner. Colleen Corrigan Day, the party's executive director, said bylaws dictate that committee members must support the party's endorsed candidates.

Well look at that... a political party demanding the members follow the rules! A very novel idea, indeed! The Cuyahoga Democrat party throws out members who do not support their endorsed candidate - on the other hand the RPCC praises members when they support democrats over our endorsed candidates.

As we can see the RINO patrol at RPCC HQ is willing to abduct any warm body for candidates - Rinker will be the next democrap trolling for a new home. I am sure if he is interested the RINO Party of Cuyahoga County will take him.

And the sheep of our party can't figure out why we always lose! And again, can someone PLEASE tell me why Hagan is unopposed?!?!?

  1. Can we throw out the executive party chairman of RPCC for gross incompetence, and supporting democrat county commissioners? I mean no running someone against Tim Hagan? How about for not standing up to taxes supported by democrats and proposed by democrat county commissioners?

Can we throw him out for losing mayors to county democrats?

Can we throw him for offering up democrats lawyers u as judicial candidates and lying to us about people switching to our party?

No. we will throw him out after losing the election.

  2. This is the Very Reason the Democrats keep kicking our behinds. Party Loyalty must be enforced. I find it interesting that this person was not just a John Doe Democrat but an elected official. A Mayor of a rather large suburb.
Did you hear the question raised at the RPCC Central and Executive Committee meeting? Why can the Democrats get such a turn out when they call a meeting? My answer was because of the patronage jobs most of them hold. Being a member of their Central or Executive Committee is paramount to their keeping such jobs. The Democratic Party has Bylaws requiring attendance of the regularly called meetings of the COMMITTEE.
The problem with the RPCC is we do not have anything beyond a $10 an hour job at the BOE(with no benefits) to offer anyone.
Did you know if a candidate wants to run for County Office(such as this Judicial post recently discussed) they have to have the funds themselves to mail to the entire County?
    Why?
Because the overhead for the RPCC Headquarters is in excess of $400,000 per year. $400,000 ?
Call me crazy but I would run the Headquarters on a shoestring and make sure our candidates got what they needed to win. WINNING, now there is a concept.

  3. King- What was the most embarassing spectacle Thursday night? You have 3 choices.

    1. Frosty's bogus "welcome" for Democrat turned "Republican"Edele Passalaqua, who left the D's only because the D's won't appoint her a judge.

    2. Frosty being forced to ask for "volunteers" from the floor to run for numerous offices.

    3. Miss Piggy from Lakewood in black Spandex and a clingy yellow T-Shirt, masquerading as a human school bus

  4. anon 1 - right on!!! Why in the world do we need $400k in overhead????? Any REAL REPUBLICAN who runs for office in this county does not even go to the RPCC for help, because the RPCC can't help them.

The RPCC could be a real bully pulpit, but instead it is a scam to pay Frost's salary and for his office. Like return of the young rino said- why weren't we as the “party of lower taxes” railing against tax increases such as the MedMart boondogle? -because the money men of the party, who are feux Republicans, told Frosty to shut his mouth. What use is the RPCC?

My vote for saddest thing at that meeting is the Republican party chairman acting like a game show host offering a guy… “to run for the office behind door #1 or door #2.” Frost should be in Hollywood trying to resurrect "Let's Make a Deal" not pretending to be a party chairman. I would rather have a retired R who is a real conservative running the party part-time and not leaching off the party instead of a full time “young gun” who is sucking the party dry until a better deal comes along.

  5. Thursday night's meeting was a real spectacle. I really can not pin down my "favorite" part.

First off...Sutula at the meeting? Head-RINO-N-Charge Bob Bennet at the meeting? Grace Drake at the meeting?

Oh wait. Rob Frost needed every single warm body he could get at that meeting in order to illegally run the meeting.

From what I am told what Rob Frost pulled at the meeting is very close to legally actionable. Has this guy ever read Robert's Rules? They are not Rob Frost's rules.

How sad. Now I know why Rob Frost can not get 75 central commitee members at the meeting.

No one cares!!!!!!!! Rob Frost and company...and the rest of his merry band of rule in hell rather than serve in haven crowd have chased everyone off.

Where are past party movers and shakers?!?!

EXAMPLE: I was told this week that the PArty Vice Chair cold shouldered a concerned member of the party...doubling as a certain wana-be elected offical's campaign staff...was could shouldered when he said "hello" to said party vice chair.

Bad move! This is why you have to beg Sutula, bennet, drake, etc to come to the meeting so you can maintain the appearance of having an active party.

Rob: You can't get the necessary number of central committee members to the meeting b/c people are tired of your sorry tail!

number of filled democrat central committee seats? hmmmm? how many precincts? 1400 and change...nearly full!

republican central committee seats? not even a third full. sad.

Someone should tell rob to stop having the meetings when most people are still at work.

  6. Jesus guys a lot of bitching but I hear no solutions. I too am an outcast in the party, but a member of both central and executive committees. Someone with some time on their hands needs to organize all us conservatives into an effective solid bloc. Problem is we all have day jobs, work requirements, or other commitments. Dems have no such problem as they either don't work, are gov't employees(again means don't work), or are attorneys. That means they have lots of time on their hands.

Now at these meetings I may agree with King and others who voice objections to various parliamentary liberties being taken by our leaders. But all I see is you are demanding the performance of a new Bentley when we are driving a 1978 GMC Pacer. You are beating an old tired rented mule because it can't carry another feather.

Party discipline is a peripheral issue. Most of our RINOs would be in the Democratic Party but they can't get into positions of power or even precinct committee positions because they don't have the connections or money. Thus they come here. And we welcome them because we need the money and we have nothing else to offer or no one willing to do the job.

I have no answers my brothers but bitching about Frosty does not seem to be accomplishing anything other than venting steam.

  10. No, there is behind the scenes work going on. You don't market a coup if you want it to work. You carefully select behind the scenes. You are already on our radar. There are more of us than you or the county party realize.

  11. You must be kidding me! I am laughing my ass off! Anon - who is your leader Secret Squirrel?

With this type of statement -"There are more of us than you or the county party realize," it sounds like Dennis Kookcinich is your leader.

Do all the members of your secret space fighter group wear those spiffy aluminum foil hats or just the officers like you?

What do I have to do to learn your secret handshake? Will you teach me? Will ya? Will ya? Will Ya? Huh?
