Belgian police made 154 arrests at an Anti-Islamic rally in Brussels on Tuesday. The rally was scheduled on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks to protest against what they feel is the "the Islamisation of Europe".
And of course, as here, this demonstration of "Free Speech" was denounced as hate speech. The rally was banned by Mayor Wafflehead because he felt the group sponsoring the protest, Stop the Islamisation of Europe, was an inflammatory group.
Terry Davis, the head of the Council of Europe - a watchdog focusing mainly on human rights rather than the EU institution - called the protestors "bigots" and said they were a threat to European values.
"It is very important to remember that the freedom of assembly and expression can be restricted to protect the rights and freedoms of others, including the freedom of thought, conscience and religion," he said in a statement.
"This applies to everyone in Europe, including the millions of Europeans of Islamic faith, who were the main target of today's shameful display of bigotry and intolerance." More....
The Islamisation of Europe is very real, happening NOW and these politically correct politicians are putting fuel on the fire.
ReplyDeleteFor people who say it couldn't happen in the U.S.:

It all begins with how our children are taught. After all, the 1960's youthful "counter culture" is now called the "Democratic Party".
If anyone is interested, a frightening, but amazingly well written, futuristic novel with the premise of the U.S. becoming devided, with one half an Islamic nation:
