BREAKING: Judd Gregg to Become Commerce Secretary

Quickly becoming a great source for info is Net Right Nation.

From Net Right Nation --
From a trusted source that is deeply entrenched in political operations in N.H. I have learned that Senator Judd Gregg has been offered the Commerce Secretary position AND HAS ACCEPTED. I have also learned that N.H. Governor John Lynch will be appointing a MODERATE REPUBLICAN to fill the vacated seat.

Gregg cut a deal with Governor Lynch that a Republican would fill the vacated seat for the remainder of the term if he was to accept the offer from Obama.

Gregg's record as a Republican can be questioned anyway. So on one hand, even being replaced by a moderate Republican is problably better. The scary thing is most likely Gregg's nomination will easily be confirmed.

  1. Why would Senator Judd Gregg WANT TO GET MIXED UP IN SOMETHING LIKE THIS? How much longer can Obama remain in the White House?:

The Joint Chiefs of Staff HAVE AN ABSOLUTE CONSTITUTIONAL DUTY to stand behind Guantanamo Military Judge James Pohl UNTIL OBAMA OVERCOMES “RES IPSA LOQUITUR” BY SUPPLYING HIS LONG FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND PROVING HIS ELIGIBILITY TO BE PRESIDENT UNDER ARTICLE 2 OF THE US CONSTITUTION.

  2. If King got to decide who got to be in the Republican Party, it would have about 9 members

  5. Ted thanks for commenting, but I think the ship sailed on the birth certificate issue. Obviously they ignored the fact that his birth certificate was not produced.

Anon -- let me expand on Joe A's insightful comment...

My remarks about Gregg were in reference to his record. Research and you will see why the statements were made.

NOW, most importantly, your smart ass remark... unfortunately everyone in the GOP is NOT lacking integrity such as you.

If your remark is in reference to the RPCC - I believe your number is a little low... maybe 25. In the 8 years or so I have been involved - I have yet to see anyone stand for anything. I have yet to see the leadership in the party stand up for one thing conservative. I would much rather have 9 people that stood for something than having people from within our own ranks actively supporting the people we are running against.

If you are speaking about the ORP... DeWine and Bennett sum up everything.

Joe A -- Thanks! I knew there were a few people around who stood for something and were more than just head bobbers. Unfortunately I will not be attending the Lincoln Day Dinner as the money for this event does not go to our candidates. The money from this event is used for salaries and operating expenses - I refuse to give a dime until we start standing for something. Until actions or results can justify the over $400K it takes in salaries and operating expenses - I cannot attend in good faith.

While the volunteers and your YR people do a good job of setting up the event - you guys cannot set the atmosphere - which is usually less fun than a funeral. Plus I think Karl Rove is an idiot.

This is why I will not be attending the Lincoln Day Dinner -
