This turd’s name is Andre Shepard, a deserter who is seeking asylum in the Fatherland, after giving his nation, and his fellow warriors, the finger, over his opposition to the war in Iraq.

Shepherd walked off his base in southern Germany in spring 2007 and spent 19 months on the run before applying for asylum in November last year. He is the first Army deserter to seek asylum in Germany. Before then, he had completed a five-month stint in Iraq between September 2004 and February 2005 in which he serviced Apache helicopters as part of the 412th Aviation Support Battalion. (AFP)

As stinky as this bastard is, there’s an even bigger turd floating in the bowl with him. It’s the Munich American Peace Committee which is set to give Andre its annual prize for being the biggest peace puke rat bastard of the year:

The Munich American Peace Committee said it was awarding the prize to Shepherd for his "courage and conviction in despite of the possibly extreme punishment from the US authorities" and "for publicising your convictions to give other soldiers the courage also to leave the army and to push for peace." If the Krauts what this deserter, they can keep him. Yes, we’d love to see him rotting his life away in a military prison, or, better still, serving as the guest of dishonor at a firing squad, but there are problems with that lovely scenario. In this Obamunist Error, Barry the Boy Blunder would probably try to make Andre Shepard his new Commerce Secretary. Flushing him down the Kraut crapper sounds a lot more civilized.
