Buckeye Firearms Foundation sues Cleveland to stop enforcement of illegal gun laws

The City of Cleveland, namely Mayor Jackson, is thumbing his nose at a recent Ohio Supreme Court ruling and the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling affirming our right to keep and bear arms.

After a recent execution style shooting of two innocent victims - you would think the Mayor would want residents and visitors to be safe - instead he would rather you be a victim of Cleveland crime.

The semi-wadcutter warriors at Buckeye Firearms Association, once again defending and fighting for our 2nd Amendment rights, have filed a suit in Cuyahoga County Court asking for a temporary restraining order to stop Cleveland's continued harassment & prosecution of legal, law-abiding gun owners and CCW permit holders under local ordinances restricting gun ownership and concealed carry (CCW).

Jim Irvine, President of Buckeye Firearms Association, doesn't take Jackson's goose-stepping on our 2nd Amendment rights and ignoring of the law too lightly...

"The Mayor said, 'I don't care what state law is.' We say, 'Tell it to the judge.'" said Jim Irvine. "We are a nation of laws, not of men. But apparently the men running our city don't think rules apply to them."

"The vast majority of police officers support a citizen's right to keep and bear arms. It's unfortunate that these fine men and women have to report to a Chief who is defying the law," Irvine continued.

Like I have said before, with Obamao now being President, we can expect that our 2nd Amendment right to legally possess, own and carry firearms will be under constant attack. Like Cleveland Mayor Jackson shows, with Obamoa as POTUS, the anti-gun groups feel empowered and not only feel that they are above the law, they are more than willing to ignore the law. And again, this is all the more reason we need a known entity serving as our next chief justice on the Ohio Supreme Court.

Buckeye Firearms Foundation can only lead the fight - click here - to help and join their efforts in saving your right to keep and bear arms.
