Warrensville Hts Mayor running in 11th District to replace Tubbs Jones

The first person has thrown their hat in the ring to replace the late Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones - Warrensville Hts. Mayor Marcia Fudge...

From the PD --
Warrensville Heights Mayor Marcia Fudge, a friend and sorority sister of the late U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, is putting her name forward as a potential replacement on the November ballot.

Fudge, a Democrat, will not run for the special election to finish out the last two months of Tubbs Jones' 11th Congressional District term, which ends in December, she said. Tubbs Jones died of a burst brain aneurysm on Aug. 20. More...

I find it strange that Fudge would not run to complete the remainder of Tubbs Jones term and just for the next election. Winning the remainder of Tubbs Jones term would put her in the drivers seat in the soon to follow general election for this seat.

I wonder what other Democrats will run for this position. Any suggestions?
