From the field of available candidates to fill the remainder of the late Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones term - Warrensville Hts Mayor Marcia Fudge was selected.
Fudge was selected after former Congressman Stokes, area religious leaders and Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson held a private vetting meeting.
I am shocked that Fudge would get the nod over former State Senator C.J. Prentiss.

That's just from the Stokes-Jackson cabal. The members of the Executive Committee from the 11th Dist. still get to vote on this.
